    Boot Camp Assistant (patched)

    Version 5.1.2 (497) v1

    6,153 downloads

Patched version of Boot Camp Assistant If you want and older version check top-right on this post. Use this program at your own risk! Make a backup of the data before proceed. I'm not responsable about data loss. If you use Clover I recommend you to install Windows with EFI functionalities. So, in Disk Utility resize the Mac OS X partition and create a FAT partition, then boot with a USB/DVD (I recommend USB) created as EFI and install windows on FAT (you need to reformat as NTFS) partition created above. ATTENTION: Only 64bit version has EFI support. For more information you can check the "GOOGLE" world. This patched version refer to who want to install Windows with Chameleon bootloader on a GUID Partition Table.

    Booting problem

Hi everyone, i successfully managed to install Yosemite 10.10.1 (Niresh) on my Toshiba laptop. Chameleon installed itself while installing Yosemite, so i was able to boot without the usb flawlessly. Everything was working fine, and i decided to put the laptop to sleep manualy, since closing the tray didn't do anything. This caused the computer to shutdown by itself and when i tried to boot again, i passed the toshiba logo and all i can ser now is the blinking line, wihtout any text. I tried to insert the usb but this came up: "boot0:doneboot1: /boot" with the blinking line at the end. I tried to re-write the usb, but the same thing happen. Can someone help me out please?? Thanks in advance
Come posso risolvere e procedere all'installazione? Grazie in anticipo P.s. ho disabilitato vt-d tecnology dal bios altrimenti si bloccava tutto.
  4. Buenos días, he intentado cambiar la resolución del logo de la manzana en el arranque pero no me lo hace clover, creo que lo que hago es para cambiar el tamaño del tema. Como lo podría hacer, gracias.-
  5. Hey guys, I'm new to this ans this is my first post... I have never had to post anything before, I always found the solution myself. But this time, I seriously need some help. My cousin has a Macbook Pro 2015 running El Capitan on it. So we were following step by step every single thing we saw in this youtube video : We got to the point where we had to boot from the USB. Everything was working perfectly. I had the apple logo, progress bar was going smoothly until it filled completely. And then I waited... And waited... And waited... nothing. Decided to try verbose mode. Got this : "com.apple.xpc.launchd[1] (org.ntp.sntp.117) 《Warning》: Service exited with abnormal code: 255" So... started doing what I do best.. Googling! I found SO MANY THINGS. Tried moving my kexts, tried putting some stuff in the boot args, so many things... now I'm just lost. It's an intel i5 processor, 8GB RAM, intel HD graphics, so basically all intel... Should work, no?
  6. I am running clover version 3292 and trying to add custom boot entries. i have tried adding them through clover configurator and manualy. My debug log includes the line 0:109 0:000 Custom boot CUSTOM_BOOT_DISABLED (0x0) Is there something I must do first to enable costume boot options. My config is attached. config.plist.zip
  7. Hi, I have a long itching problem: Supermicro X9Dai Dual Socket with two Sandy Bridge-E E5-2670. Yosemite running fine and all is working well including Power Management with patched AICPUPM.Kext (If anyones interested, throw me a line, glad to send my config) But the Setup works only with HT disabled, eg. 16 Cores. If I enable HT to 32 Logical Cores, I get Kernel Panic @ Boot, backtrace is AICPUPM.kext. With Mavericks, everything worked fine (had to use the ACPI/PCI Drivers from 10.9.1 though because it got terrible unresponsive if using the newer ones. So is there a hardlimit in the Darwin 14.X.X Kernel somewhere to not allow more than 16 Cores or is it maybe a ACPI DSDT Problem? Is there maybe a Kernel patch which could work? Thanks for help! Mike

    Intel HD 3000 after 10.7.4

I had Lion working with my Intel HD 3000 Graphics (DEV 0x0116) and after the 10.7.4 update it boots fine and then flashes blue for a second and goes blank. If HDMI is plugged the screen comes alive and works till next reboot. This is a vanilla install using the latest FakeSMC and Chimera.
  9. Hi. I have an issue from the first day I installed 10.8, if I start the system with only 1 HD, there is no problems, but if I connect a second HD, then, only sometimes, the boot fails, I don't see any message, only the white apple screen freeze, or the login screen freeze. Sometimes the mouse moves very very slow, and I need to reset. I have a SSD for system, other for free spaces and time machine, and now I bought another for Windows, when I connect the 3 Harddrives the problem is worse. I don't understand what happen. Can give some light? Thanks
  10. Hi, I am using Clover as the boot loader for my multi-boot hack (Windows 7 / Mountain Lion). I read that I should install Clover to a boot flash and work out any issues before installing clover to the hard drive. I have one hard drive which, if I do not use the Clover boot loader, boots into the 4th partition (Windows 7, EFI boot). The 1st partition is the EFI one created when I installed Windows. The 2nd partition is the Microsoft reserved partition. The 3rd partition is the HFS+ partition. 1) My questions are, once I get the boot flash working the way I want, how do I get those settings installed onto the hard drive? 2) Further, where should Clover go on the hard drive? Thanks, Bernie
  11. As the title says, I have both systems on separate drives. I can boot Yosemite faithfully every time. Installed El Capitan on a second drive and it booted just fine all yesterday and not nothing. Seems to get hung up at Waiting for DSMOS which I think suggests a graphic error? PS I use Clover. My system info should be on here. Ideas? Attaching my config.plist also.
  12. So the other day I went and updated my Yosemite installation to 10.10.5, first through the App Store, then directly through Apple's website. After the update completed, my computer restarted and went to Clover. I booted using verbose, as I always do after an update like that. Halfway through booting I got a bunch of "Sandbox: deny" errors flood my screen, all the way until the end of the boot, as seen in the image below. The GUI failed to load, and from the looks of it, a lot of other things too. I am now typing this from a new Yosemite installation and wish to try updating to 10.10.5 again, without damaging my installation. I've searched this error on Google, but none of the methods to fix it work for me. Strangely enough, I can boot into 10.10.5 using Chameleon, but I want to get it to work on Clover because Chameleon messes with my install. On Clover I'm only using the boot-flags rootless=0 , kext-dev-mode=1 , and slide=0. This is a new install and it only has Clover as the bootloader. Please help.
  13. Hello everyone. I recently acquired a ASUS X555 with a i7-5500U processor, and I have been unsuccessful with getting it to boot to the installer. I am getting an error when attempting to boot the installer (I Will Post A Picture Below). What I Have Tried: - Using AptioFixDrv & AptioFixDrv2 NOT WORKING - Using the -f Boot Flag NOT WORKING - Booting With -x (Safe Boot) Will Not Let Me Install Clover, Very Unstable, But Installs So, this leads me to here. I have tried to follow other guides, but nothing is really working. I hope someone can help me. Thanks In Advance!

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>Boot</key> <dict> <key>Timeout</key> <integer>5</integer> <key>Arguments</key> <string>npci=0x2000 -v slide=0</string> <key>DefaultVolume</key> <string>MacHDD</string> <key>Log</key> <false/> <key>Fast</key> <false/> <key>XMPDetection</key> <string>-1</string> <key>Legacy</key> <string>PBR</string> </dict> <key>KernelAndKextPatches</key> <dict> <key>Debug</key> <false/> <key>KernelCpu</key> <false/> <key>AsusAICPUPM</key> <true/> <key>AppleRTC</key> <true/> <key>KextsToPatch</key> <array> <dict> <key>Name</key> <string>AppleAHCIPort</string> <key>Comment</key> <string>External icons patch</string> <key>Find</key> <data>RXh0ZXJuYWw=</data> <key>Replace</key> <data>SW50ZXJuYWw=</data> </dict> </array> </dict> <key>ACPI</key> <dict> <key>HaltEnabler</key> <false/> <key>DSDT</key> <dict> <key>Debug</key> <false/> <key>Name</key> <string>DSDT.aml</string> <key>Fixes</key> <dict> <key>AddDTGP_0001</key> <true/> <key>FixDarwin_0002</key> <true/> <key>FixShutdown_0004</key> <true/> <key>AddMCFG_0008</key> <false/> <key>FixHPET_0010</key> <true/> <key>FakeLPC_0020</key> <false/> <key>FixIPIC_0040</key> <true/> <key>FixSBUS_0080</key> <true/> <key>FixDisplay_0100</key> <true/> <key>FixIDE_0200</key> <false/> <key>FixSATA_0400</key> <false/> <key>FixFirewire_0800</key> <true/> <key>FixUSB_1000</key> <true/> <key>FixLAN_2000</key> <true/> <key>FixAirport_4000</key> <true/> <key>FixHDA_8000</key> <true/> </dict> </dict> <key>DropTables</key> <array> <dict> <key>Signature</key> <string>DMAR</string> </dict> <dict> <key>Signature</key> <string>SSDT</string> <key>TableId</key> <string>CpuPm</string> </dict> </array> <key>SSDT</key> <dict> <key>Generate</key> <dict> <key>PStates</key> <true/> <key>CStates</key> <true/> </dict> <key>PLimitDict</key> <integer>0</integer> <key>UnderVoltStep</key> <integer>0</integer> <key>MinMultiplier</key> <integer>8</integer> </dict> </dict> <key>DisableDrivers</key> <array> <string>Nothing</string> </array> <key>RtVariables</key> <dict> <key>MountEFI</key> <true/> <key>LogLineCount</key> <integer>3000</integer> <key>LogEveryBoot</key> <string>10</string> </dict> <key>GUI</key> <dict> <key>TextOnly</key> <false/> <key>Language</key> <string>en:0</string> <key>Theme</key> <string>applestyle</string> <key>Mouse</key> <dict> <key>Enabled</key> <false/> <key>Speed</key> <integer>0</integer> </dict> <key>Hide</key> <array> <string>Windows</string> <string>\EFI\BOOT\BOOTX64.EFI</string> </array> <key>Scan</key> <dict> <key>Entries</key> <true/> <key>Tool</key> <true/> <key>Legacy</key> <true/> </dict> </dict> <key>Devices</key> <dict> <key>Inject</key> <false/> <key>Audio</key> <dict> <key>Inject</key> <string>No</string> </dict> <key>FakeID</key> <dict> <key>ATI</key> <string>0x0</string> <key>IntelGFX</key> <string>0x0</string> <key>NVidia</key> <string>0x0</string> <key>SATA</key> <string>0x0</string> <key>WIFI</key> <string>0x0</string> <key>LAN</key> <string>0x0</string> <key>XHCI</key> <string>0x0</string> </dict> <key>USB</key> <dict> <key>Inject</key> <true/> <key>FixOwnership</key> <true/> <key>AddClockID</key> <true/> </dict> </dict> <key>SystemParameters</key> <dict> <key>InjectSystemID</key> <true/> </dict> <key>Graphics</key> <dict> <key>Inject</key> <dict> <key>Intel</key> <false/> <key>ATI</key> <false/> <key>NVidia</key> <false/> </dict> <key>PatchVBios</key> <false/> </dict> </dict> </plist> Sono più interessato a risolvere il secondo problema ma se qualcuno conosce anche soluzione al primo ben venga .
  17. Hi all, I need some help with my clover boot entries, i don't know who to configure them, need some help with clover configurator o editing the config.plist :S I install El Capitan in one drive (OCZ) and in other drive Windows 10 UEFI mode (KINGSTON) (WD disk is for shared information). I followed this install steps that a partner give me in this forum, 1º Install windows in the kingston ssd with ocz desactivated 2º Install El Capitan with DismarkerX Usb 3º Install Clover 3320 and all Ethernet, Graphics, Audio, hwsensors drivers Mac works fine, But Windows doesn't run from EFI and no one entries, but i can't run it with Windows Boot Manager Bios option. How I can run Windows 10 from this Entry (it makes my monitor go off and do it nothing). Thanks partners. I attach the DarwinDumper Disk Report and my config plist, hope can help. 000_2015-11-14_09-29-53_iMac14,2.zip
  18. Hi Folks, I'm attempting to properly configure a UEFI dual boot system (Windows 10 and El Capitan). My desire was to have a one disk dedicated to Windows 10 and another for El Capitan. I currently have that setup. I did clean installs for each OS to their respective disk. As a result, I have the windows created EFI partition on disk 0 and OS X EFI partition on disk 1. I have the windows os loader installed into the EFI partition on disk 0 and Clover onto disk 1. I can boot either OS by selecting the appropriate partition from my boot menu in my UEFI boot menu. I'm left with two problems, however. I'm not able to boot the Windows 10 OS from Clover and I'm getting extra EFI entries into my UEFI firmware. I'm thinking the correct approach is to consolidate EFI partitions and install the windows loader and clover loader side by side. I would like disk0 (Windows Disk) to contain the "active' EFI Partition. My questions are as follows: Is there a setup which would allow me to have multiple EFI partitions and not have the extra EFI entry added to my UEFI firmware? If not, should I drop down to a single EFI partition? Can I install Clover to the Windows created EFI Partition and have each loader coexist happily? Partition setup: /dev/disk0 (external, physical): #: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER 0: GUID_partition_scheme *256.1 GB disk0 1: Windows Recovery 471.9 MB disk0s1 2: EFI NO NAME 104.9 MB disk0s2 3: Microsoft Reserved 16.8 MB disk0s3 4: Microsoft Basic Data 255.5 GB disk0s4 /dev/disk1 (external, physical): #: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER 0: GUID_partition_scheme *120.0 GB disk1 1: EFI EFI 209.7 MB disk1s1 2: Apple_HFS OSX Installed 119.2 GB disk1s2 3: Apple_Boot Recovery HD 650.0 MB disk1s3 Thanks, Matt
  19. Dear IM After buying a new graphics card i had to update my bios before it would give any output at all (also in the bios). I now have a working setup on an old HDD (testdisk). It even works with my new graphics card using Lilu+whatevergreen kexts. Yay So far so good... My problem is that I can't seem to replicate this working setup on my SSD no matter what i do. Disk 1) HDD with working 10.12.6 setup. Disk 2) SSD Also 10.12.6 where i keep getting the following error: Panic(cpu 0 caller 0xffffff80122d7624): "unable to find driver for this platform: \"ACPI\".\n"@/Library/Caches/com.apple.xbs/Sources/xnu/xnu-3789.71.6/iokit/Kernel/IOPlatformExpert.cpp:1672 I have tried the following: When i clone the entire disk onto the SSD with clonezilla everything works: Which tells me the ssd is not at fault. - And yes i could just keep running that setup, however not knowing why it works is kind of un-easing for me. Replacing entire "CLOVER"-folder + rebuilding cache with Kext Wizard -> Same error Replacing entire EFI partition contents + rebuilding cache with Kext Wizard -> Same error. Replacing clover installation (reinstalling multiple times mimicing the config). -> Same error. From what i can see no kexts in "/S/L/E" differ. Also no kexts in "/L/E" differ. Except for one: RemoteVirtualInterface.kext (VMWare Fusion related i think) The disks are slightly differently partitioned differently both using GUID. Disk 1 has only one partition (+recovery) where as Disk 2 has 2 partitions because i plan on installing windows later). I feel like i am completely missing something here guys... Where might the culprit be hiding? Thank you so much for your time in reading this post. Any thoughts and any help will be greatly appreciated I am hitting a wall here. Best wishes Morten
  20. Hi, I am having a problem with my chameleon multi booting between Mavericks and Windows 7. I have a hard drive with 100 GB Drive for windows and another 100GB drive for Mavericks When i choose the Windows Drive from Chameleon it gives me a message "Bootmgr is missing "and when i choose "system reserved" option i have a glimpse of Windows 7 Screen and then the pc restarts without any warning. Obviously now my Windows 7 is out of reach. I am quite new to the hackintosh environment so i guess i didn't give you all the information you would like so if anything is missing please inform me and i will provide it as soon as possible. Thanks in Advance Edit: I found out where the problem is it's the "SATA MODE" once i changed it in the bios from "AHCI" to "IDE" Windows worked perfectly but sadly mac broke it gives me a blocked sign on the boot screen "kinda like the no smoking sight" on the apple logo. Is there any other workaround for this problem? It will be quite Cumbersome for me to enter the boot and change the sata mode everytime i try to enter the other OS which is quite alot Because of my SW Development work.
  21. Hello, fellow hackintosh...ers ! I'm coming to you with a bit of a problem that got me to scratching my head pretty bad, to the point that I now think I'm actually scratching my frontal lobe. A week ago, I decided I was done with my Snow Leopard setup that was back from... well SL years. So I decided it was finally time to upgrade to a more up to date version. And what's more up to date than Mavericks DP8 ? A friend of mine running it on his iMac told me it was practically a GM, and that it was stable enough for a daily use. After a bit of research I found out some people were already running DP8 on their hackintoshes and so there was no reason to think I couldn't. So I went and installed Mavericks with myHack, and the installation went very well. I had some problems with booting (Resetting IOCatalogue), spent a few days trying to resolve them, tried installing Mountain Lion instead, had the same problems, came back to Mavericks, had some problems again (mainly thinking my Radedon HD4850 was the problem), all the while learning a lot about hackintoshes and I finally was able to boot on Mavericks DP1 after using a proper DSDT file that was made for a motherboard fairly similar to mine (The DSDT file is the "F13" for a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R and my MB is the GA-P35-DS3). Happy with my Mavericks DP1 properly booting, I decided to download a combo update to DP8 after installing the Realtek81xx kext that enabled ethernet connection and install it. So now I have Mavericks DP8 installed on my computer, but when I try to boot, I get stuck with "Resetting IOCatalogue" (several minutes after the previous line, which is in most cases mounting another partition from the hard drive, right after "DSMOS has arrived"), the exact same issue I had before upgrading from DP1 to DP8, except now the solution I had for it is still in effect but the problem came back. As advised on many threads, I removed every ATI, IntelHD and nVidia kext from /System/Library/Extension, in vain, the problem remains. It may or may not be useful to point out that I first had a "Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport" issue that I resolved by deleting Bluetooth-related kexts (I have no use for it), and that I also added a MacPro 3,1 smbios.plist in the /Extra folder. My config : Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3 Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 ATI Radeon HD4850 Err... that's it, pretty much. So, what's my move ? I fortunately have a Ubuntu setup with a Mountain Lion VM from which I can access and tinker with files on my Mavericks install. Thanks for reading ! EDIT : Oh and it goes without saying that I tried booting in safe mode, and the result was the same.
  22. Hello together, after succesfully installing Mac OS X ML on my external USB-HDD, I want to know, how I can boot from it. HP nx6125 AMD Turion x64 IDE HDD controller (not recognized by Mountain Lion -> any ideas?) 1024 MB of Ram Ati Mobility Radeon x200m Regards, Sa_2307
  23. So I am following this guide here: http://forum.thinkpa...hp?f=32&t=86621 And I got stuck at the final part which is: Step 1...: "- Install "Chameleon RC4-AsereBLN-1.1.9" ON THIS "USB KEY" (be careful this could damage your own hardware)" I'm currently using a VMWare with an S.L Stock DVD image so I can access the terminal and Disk Utility apps before fully installing Mac OS X. I didn't want to proceed until this last step was completed. Can anyone tell me how to install Chameleon to a USB Drive, either from Mac OS X or Windows? It wasn't very clear on how to "Install a .pkg" to a USB Drive. Thanks for the help in advance fellas.

    Hotkeys in Clover

Are hotkeys now no longer supported in Clover? I can not get them to reliably work. I am having a difficult time finding any information about them on any boards or Clover's own page. I'm running r4003. Trying to bind windows boot to 'w' via custom entry which works, but all 'w' does is cancel timer. Any help would be appreciated.
