  1. An unknown error has occurred when you try to access your App Store account is a problem not limited to iHack. Genuine Mac owners experience same issue regardless OS X version. There are several scenarios that can cause this problem and also several solutions:

- You swapped your main HDD/SSD and used cloning software in process
 - You just installed OS X from scratch and OS X doesn't support your LAN natively and you are forced to use 3rd party or edited kext to make it work
 - Your SMBIOS.plist doesn't contain valid serial number
 - Your org.chameleon.Boot.plist doesn't contain this:

<key>EthernetBuiltIn</key>
<string>Yes</string>

So how to solve this problem? Well luckily Apple recognise this and provides official solution:
 - delete all interfaces in system preferences/network pane - delete Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/Networkinterfaces.plist and com.apple.network.identification.plist - reboot - add ethernet interface in system preferences/network and configure it if necessary - optionally add all other interfaces you might need, like firewire, com etc. - wait a few seconds for Eth interface to initialise - log in to your app store account and enjoy iHack solution: - Apply official Apple solution - make sure you have valid serial number in SMBIOS.plist ( use Chameleon Wizard to create one ) - make sure org.chameleon.Boot.plist contains this code:
<key>EthernetBuiltIn</key>
<string>Yes</string>

Valid SMBIOS serial number will also solve problem with TeamViewer "access to the teamViewer server had been denied"
  2. Hey guys, This is my first topic on this forum, but I've been familiar with the mackintosh community for 3 years, and am not afraid to get my hands dirty. With that said, to the problem. I am having trouble signing into iMessage. And believe me I don't like posting stupid, duplicate topics without a reason to do so. I've read every damn topic on the net I could find, tried it, and all of those failed. It always tells me, "Your Apple ID "[My Mail ID]" can't be used to set up iMessage at this time". But, my father bought an iPhone 5s a couple of weeks ago, and I used it for a week. My iMessage was signed in on the phone. And around that time, I upgraded to Mavericks. I gave my father the iPhone back 3 days ago, and that's when it started giving me this stupid message. So, after browsing a bit, I heard about NVRam and Clover, and saw that my PC didn't have a UUID. So, I got the necessary tools and applied a UUID to my machine. Yet it didn't work. Also tried a full restore, booting from Chameleon, Chimera, and Clover. Nothing works. The only thing that works is signing into my father's iPhone. And again, logging out of that gives me the message. Yes, I've checked for nvram.[uuid].plist, and everything but the IOPower variables are valid. MLB and ROM are in place. Find MyMac works. I've also created a recovery partition. I would also have tried gdb-ing iMessage, but I'm terrible at that. I, currently, am on 10.9.1(It didn't work on 10.9 also). Also, I didn't use Messages when I used 10.8. Any suggestions would be warmly welcome.

    App Store

Hi to everyone!I can't sign into the App Store.Any suggestions?
  4. The myHack installer works great in my 2010 build. Just need some help regarding the software updating. I was able to install Mavericks 10.9 using myHack onto my current 10.7.5 build as an in-place install. Didn't even have to re-install applications. I was able to go to the App Store and upgrade to Mavericks 10.9.2, without asking for an Apple ID. But when I wanted to update the iLife and iWork applications it asked for an Apple ID. If I entered my Apple ID, it says it does not recognize my Mac. Since there no longer is a way to download from the Apple website, how can I update? Will hacking the " About this Mac " fix the problem? Previously under Lion 10.7.5, I saw my specs correctly but ID the build as a Mac Pro. Now it is not even reading my CPU GHz correctly. Thanks EDIT: added topic tag with my motherboard for clarity. marked solved.

Verifica Dispositivo - App Store -

Spero in qualche consiglio
An Unknown Error Has Occurred".
  7. Hello! Having read this and this, I've decided to downgrade Quarz.framework and QuartzCore.framework to their 10.6.2's versions. So I copied over the both files from a 10.6.2 virtual machine I had lying around to my 10.6.6 installation and... Success! Now I've got transparent menu bar AND a regular black Apple logo. What works: No logo color corruption on the menu bar App Store icons look fine now Someone said there were performance issues with 10.6.2. I don't see any difference in the performance using this method. What doesn't: Photoshop with OpenGL mode higher than basic results to green color all over the picture, so it looks like OpenGL corruption is still present Hope this would be helpful I can upload both folders if you need them.
  8. I keep getting this message when I try to download from the Mac App Store: "Your device or computer could not be verified. Contact support for assistance." My reason, I suspect, is because I used the GM version of Lion to install instead of the retail version. However, I did this because people said they were exactly the same. I did buy the retail version, however since I upgraded on my laptop it won't let me redownload it. Anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this? My specs are in my signature.
  10. So here I am, admitting to myself that I can't do this alone, posting on a forum for the first time. Hope someone can point me in the right direction. Ever since I upgraded to El Capitan (10.11) I have been plagued with this stage bug/glitch, in which every app downloaded form the App Store requires me to enter my Apple ID and Password to open said app on EVERY reboot. I'm usually greeted with this message when I try opening an app: "Insert app" was purchased using the App Store on another computer. To use "Insert app" on this computer, sign in using the Apple ID and password used to purchase it. Microsoft Office 2016, for example, doesn't remember my activation details and I have to re-enter them every time I reboot. I have had several hypotheses, NVRAM not saving (but iMessage works perfectly and values are retained), Broken Keychain (tried resetting it to no avail), etc. I also installed several OS X versions on my notebook to rule out possibilities. I found that none of the above happened on 10.9-10.10.5. But once I upgrade to 10.11 El Capitan, and the public beta of 10.12 Sierra, the same problem arises. So what could it be? New security features like rootless or something similar introduced since 10.11 and onward? Where could the problem be? It seems like every time I reboot it's a whole other computer. Seems like it since App Store apps and MS Office apps ask for activation. Im using Clover as my boot loader, r3642 to be precise. My notebook is an old Asus U50Vg, legacy BIOS.
  11. Hi, I upgraded from Snow Leopard, and then updated to 10.7.4, and now my USB ports are not working (IDK why, but my Wi-Fi USB Stick is still working o_o ). I tried downloading some old IOUSBFamily kexts, enabled the USB Bus Fix, but still... When I try my flash drive, it's just blinking and then nothing. Same with my USB mouse. What can I do more to fix that annoying problem, because now I have to use only my trackpad - FIXED! (Refreshed install and chose the USB Fix...) Also, I get the "Your device or computer could not be verified" when I try to access the App Store.. I tried the EFIStudio fix, but it didn't work (maybe because I am using a WiFi USB Stick?)... Aaand in the end, I have a nasty overheat problem...now, my laptop's CPU's are around 75°C/167°F (so not normal).. I tried the "Generate P and C States" but it didn't worked.. My PCIRoot is 1 now(It was 0, so there was no difference..) If you can help me with anything, I'll be very, very grateful! Thanks in advance, Alex.
