Does anyone able to login to iCloud with 10.7.4 Lion on Intel Atom 330 kernel? I spend a lot of days compiling dsdts tuning boot and smbios plists. I have fully working Asus 1201n with sleep/wake, Mac App Store and iTunes. But iCloud (with FaceTime) is stronger than me. Here is my final report. Any advice appreciated. Regards, Cirroz.
theconnactic posted a topic in OSx86 10.8 (Mountain Lion)Hello, folks! As the title say, a bizarre network behavior with my 1201n I noticed some weeks ago. It's the following: it connects just fine with the Internet, but simply cannot initiate communication with any other computer, be it a Mac, a hackint0sh or a Windows PC. It can be accessed from the network by other computers though, just as it should. Even then, with a connection stablished, it cannot browse or send files to other computers, despite them being able to browse and send files to it once the connection is made. I tried to reapply the 10.8.4 combo update, and also updated Chameleon to latest trunk - I read somewhere else there was a bug with Enoch in which this network issue could be one of its symptoms. No joy. Any further suggestion or help would be greatly appreciated. All the best! Oh, forgot to mention: coupled with this already annoying issue, came another: non HFS disks won't mount at all - even ExFAT or FAT32 disks! That's why I suspected Enoch in the first place.
Polska_WTF posted a topic in AsusHello I've followed guides for Snow Leopard and Lion but they're not working for me. When i do all the steps for preparing usb installation stick, the drive is not bootable (chamaleon, unibootx, chimera) are not recognising them. Is there anyone who will help me with that? For now I'm using Windows 7 and my netbook has 3GB RAM, unlocked Bios (AHCI support and overclocked FSP). About two weeks ago I've tried with iAtkos SL3, it hangs at the DSDT error (I don't remember whole sentence but it told me that there's no file)
