1. So recently I was trying to install audio on my hack. I had tried this before, but hadn't gotten it to work and gave up. This time, I initially tried to use toleda's patch from online. I tried to install it with Kext.Beast. I restarted, and the computer booted up just fine and everything was good. Audio still didn't work, but computer did. I figured I would try it again with Multi.Beast, and saw there was an update. So I got the update and got all the new kexts I needed from the update, including the audio, and installed them. I tried to restart, but I got a kernel panic. I have tried uninstalling some of the kexts, reinstalling FakeSMC, but still no luck. I posted this on the TMx86 forum, but like all the other topics I post on there, no response. If someone could PLEASE help me, that would much appreciated. Also, I am willing to back up my hard drive and reinstall Mavericks if someone could tell me where/how to back it up (NOTE: cannot detect USBs in Safe Mode).
2. Hi to everybody, After a lot of time and troubles I have a (nearly) fully functional hackintosh. To make this dream real (lol) I need your help in some problems, first of all audio. The audio chip of my mb (signature) is realtek alc1150. I found a lot of guides (most of that on "toleda methods"), but nothing work for me, neither "apple hda audio" or other solutions ! The only admissible (is it?) solution is with vodoohda 2.8.8. Sound was popping and I solved it with the midi configurator of mac os x (i changed Hz). I had it on HDMI, but i can't slide volume down or up, when i plug in headphones the pc doesn't switch automatically the output source and the volume in headphones is ridicolously low. But when i use headphones as output I can slide volume. I tried tipical solutions to solve it, but, again, nothing solved. Another problem is that internal hd (i use it only for storage) is slow. It is formatted in NTFS because I use it also on windows. I really notice its slowness when I modify a song on iTunes (library stored there), I use Tuxera to write on it and I don't know what other file system I can use because there are some files (big sized like games) that I can't move on a fat32 hd. I test vga card and results are better on windows (sigh). What can I do to improve vga performance on mac? How can I optimize all the machine in few words. Thank you very much for all your time I appreciate it. [|OFFTOPIC| I installed and deleted MacFuse (a program for ntfs), but I can't remove panel on settings.]

Kext realtek rtl8192se

4. Hello! I'm running macOS 10.11.3, and I'm experiencing a rather odd issue with AppleHDA and my system's audio. The system appears to be detecting the card, and it knows it's an audio device. However, it doesn't show it as a usable output device. (http://i.imgur.com/ksWmCkO.png) Similarly, the input device doesn't show up. I'm using a patched AppleHDA (attached) and my AppleHDA clover config is below: <key>Audio</key> <dict> <key>Inject</key> <string>3</string> </dict> Is there anything I can do to solve this problem (preferably through the use of Clover only so it persists through updates)? If needed, I can attach my codecs and similar if a re-patch is needed. I have no DSDT patches for codecs or Layout IDs. AppleHDA.kext.zip

6. Hi everybody. My Hackintosh builded on ASUS P7P55D-E EVO Motherboard with Realtek 8112L ethernet. I use Lnx2Mac's Realtek RTL81xx kext for it. Now I have Mavericks installed with Clover bootloader and have problems with my local network. I have home server with Windows 7 on it and every day copying files from it through local network to my Hackintosh. Copying files successful with 50% chance. Sometimes it send me error -51, sometimes error -8084. No problems with internet. At least I didn't catch any. Before I have Mountain Lion installed with Chameleon with same kext for ethernet and have no problems at all. Any ideas?
7. AMD Athlon 64x2 dual core 5200+ 2.7Ghz 6GB RAM Realtek SB 5.1VX Sound Card (My onboard sound has konked off) ATI Radeon HD 5670 TP Link wireless network adapter I run Windows 7 Ultimate on a 1tb sata hdd, and have an unused 500gb sata hdd. I was able to install & run Kalyway 10.5.1 however it seemed dated, wifi worked, sound didnot, gfx card didnt & only onboard worked. Would I be able to install Osx Mavericks on this system? I do not have access to a mac, would I be able to make a bootable USB of Mavericks in windows (perhaps using transmac in windows to create a bootable osx usb)
8. Hi guys n gals, I have installed iAtkos ML2 and lion 10.7 succesfully on my comp. (asrock 4core1333 glan/m q6600 4g ram 6870) and it is stable, except for ethernet. Ethernet is acting weird. The situation is as follows. Up to and including 10.7.4, everything works 100% perfect (except sleep). Since 10.7.5, the ethernet wont work properly, and after a reboot it may or may not be working. It gets weirder. Because when it stops working, it disappears. Like, when going into windows or linux, the ethernet adapter is gone. Like it was never there. I then have to disable ethernet in bios, reboot into an os, shutdown, count till 10, cross my fingers, boot into bios, enable ethernet, and it 9/10 times works again. I have tried many kexts, and lnx2mac is most stable (no KPs). Official realtek drivers seems to work every time, but it ALWAYS gives Kernel panic either during boot, or after 5 seconds of using a web browser. So I decided to try mountain lion. To get mountain lion to actually boot, the secret was to go into the bios and enable "no no execute memory protection" (yes that is right, a double negative for some retarded reason) and than i used USBBusFix=Yes and PciRoot=1 and the sun was shining again. Mountain lion seems slightly different, because the ethernet seems to work after a few reboots automatically again without having to go into the bios 83 times and wasting a lot of time in the process. Other than that, same {censored} different day. BOTTOM LINE: Does anyone know how to get realtek 8168 (81xx) with dev id 816810ec to work in a stable fashion in 10.7.5+ ? PS: Sorry if I made you read that entire paragraph when it was really quite a simple question n00b

Realtek ALC892 Help

I've tried the patch from toleda and some other patches, but can't seem to get my ALC892 audio to work. Do I need a DSDT or a different kext? If someone could point me in the right direction that would be awesome. MY SYSTEM: Mobo: Intel DH61HO Processor: Intel Core i3 3220 Graphics: GeForce GT 610
11. For the life of me, I cannot get my rig to properly produce sound. Everything else works perfectly and smoothly, except for this very important aspect. Not sure if this matters, but I do have to boot in safe mode every time. I have done every guide I can find for installing the ALC898 kext properly, but it just does not seem to work. Does me having to boot in safe mode mess me up? Am I just missing something? (I also cannot get my WiFi card to work, but I understand that's a totally different process and board section, but if anyone has notes on that, I'd appreciate it) My rig is as follows: Obsidian 660T Case ASRock Z77 Xtreme 4 i7 3770k 32gb RAM (4x 8gb) 2TB HDD, 256gb SSD, 128gb SSD (with Windows 8/1TB, OSX/256SSD) 2x GeForce GTX 660 ti 3gb SLI Dedicated Sound card onboard Blu Ray burner/Reader 12x Wifi/Bluetooth Card Extremities: Monitor: 27" Samsung HDMI 1920X1080 monitor 2hz refresh rate Keyboard: SteelSeries Merc USB Wired Mouse: Razer DeathAdder
13. Since winter 2015 I've been slowly building my Hackintosh workstation based on Supermicro X9DAi. This mobo has quite good reputation in the community, that's why I have chosen it as my base platform. It quickly turned out the X9DAi Hackintosh setup process is time consuming and has very steep learning curve. Preparation of my rig went into months. Ethernet, USB, USB3, PM, ... step by step I fixed succeeding issues. Days, weeks – you probably know that. It was all worth it however, cause today I have 100% functional muscle hack. Thanks to wonderful community I overcame many obstacles and solved hundred of issues. So now is my turn to put my two cents. ___ Last thing which not worked in my system was audio. Many users reported lack of ability to fix this and after several attempts I also quit. Bought cheapo USB PnP sound card and left the issue unsolved. Having to test some DIY microphone project I did recently, I thought why not to give another shot to my onboard ALC889? I did, and after an hour had working audio onboard. Setup is very simple and you can proceed it in minutes. Of course this is not my developement but compilation of solutions from the web. Tested on OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 only. I don't know whether it works in other system versions. So, here's step by step how-to guide: ___ 1. Download "Realtek ALC888s Solution for Yosemite by Mister Thibard" here: http://www.osx86.net/files/file/4299-realtek-alc888s-solution-for-yosemite/ This is very convenient set of utilities suitable here. Download, mount DMG, read the README. 2. Run the PKG from "A" folder. App installs to S/L/E two kexts: VoodooHDA & AppleHDADisabler, Also Voodoo preference pane and VoodooHdaSettingsLoader.app in the Utilities. 3. Open the "B" folder from DMG and copy VoodooHDA.kext somewhere on your HD. Go to new kext location, do "show package content" and edit containing info.plist file in any plain text editor. VoodooHDA is an open source audio driver for devices compliant with the Intel High Definition Audio specification. It is intended as a replacement for AppleHDA on Mac OS X. 4. Check whether your device ID is indeed 0x1d208086 under the "IOPCIPrimaryMatch" key. <key>IOPCIPrimaryMatch</key> <string>0x1d208086</string> If it's not, refer to the README on DMG (or use DPCIManager utility to get device ID). 5. Find the "AllowMSI" key and change its value to "false". <key>AllowMSI</key> <true/> to: <key>AllowMSI</key> <false/> NOTE: if sound is lost after few seconds of any first play, it means you have missed this step 6. Save the info.plist file and close editor. 7. Using KextWizard, KextUtility or any similar app install edited VoodooHDA in /S/L/E and do usual full service. 8. Make VoodooHdaSettingsLoader load at startup. Go to System Preferences -> Users & Groups -> (select desired user) -> Login Items tab. Click "+" and locate VoodooHdaSettingsLoader.app in the Utilities. Select it and add to your startup items: 9. Restart machine. Enjoy your new sound. This solution is quick, effective and elegant. Checkout the Sound pane in System Preferences – all motherboard audio connectors are present: In the VoodooHDA preference pane you may fine-tune output & input source parameters. Very convenient. Cheers!
15. Hello guys, I have a Dell Inspiron N5010 and the ethernet card is Realtek RTL8103T. I can't get it to work on Mountain Lion. Tried Lnx2Mac RealtekRTL81xx 0.0.90 driver, but it didn't work. Anyone who succeeded in this?
16. Hello, everybody. First let me specify my current system: I'm running on a Foxconn G41MD (Intel G41/ICH7) with Realtek ALC662. My processor is an Intel E7400 (overclocked @ 3.37GHz) Now, let me be clear on something: I've never had working audio with AppleHDA. I began in the hackintosh scene just a few months ago on 10.6.8 and was too much of a newbie to try anything other than the myriad of different kexts available online. The only way I got it to work was with VoodooHDA. Then fast-forward to now, I completely skipped 10.7.x and went straight to 10.8.1. (and now 10.8.2.) I've been editing my DSDT and all that, now that I more-or-less know what I'm doing and I've got everything working perfectly except for the audio. One of my main problems right now is that I'm not sure where my problem is: DSDT, PinConfig, Audio Layout, AppleHDA binary, or something else. I've tried every guide I've come across and none has worked so far. I've tried at least three different AppleHDA binaries (and have tried patching my own with different fixes also) and nothing is working. My current progress is this: My DSDT has the HDEF device as follows: Device (HDEF) { Name (_ADR, 0x001B0000) Method (_PRW, 0, NotSerialized) { Return (Package (0x02) { 0x09, 0x05 }) } Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized) { Store (Package (0x0E) { "built-in", Buffer (One) { 0x00 }, "CodecAddressMask", Buffer (One) { 0x04 }, "layout-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x1C, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00 }, "device-type", Buffer (0x20) { "Realtek ALC662" }, "vendor-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x62, 0x06, 0xec, 0x10 }, "revision-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x01, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00 }, "PinConfigurations", Buffer (Zero) {} }, Local0) DTGP (Arg0, Arg1, Arg2, Arg3, RefOf (Local0)) Return (Local0) } } And am using a legacy kext made by myself with the following data: <key>ALC662 Hardware Config Resource</key> <dict> <key>CFBundleIdentifier</key> <string>com.apple.driver.AppleHDAHardwareConfigDriver</string> <key>HDAConfigDefault</key> <array> <dict> <key>AFGLowPowerState</key> <data> AwAAAA== </data> <key>CodecID</key> <integer>283903586</integer> <key>ConfigData</key> <data> IUccECFHHUAhRx4hIUcfASFXHOAhVx0QIVceESFXH0AhZxzwIWcdECFnHhEhZx9AIYcc MCGHHZAhhx6hIYcfASGXHEAhlx2QIZceoSGXH0IhpxxQIacdMCGnHiEhpx8BIbccICG3 HUAhtx4hIbcfQiHHHNAhxx0AIcceACHHH0Ah1xwAIdcdACHXHgAh1x9AIeccwCHnHQAh 5x4AIecfQCFHDAIhVwwC </data> <key>FuncGroup</key> <integer>1</integer> <key>LayoutID</key> <integer>28</integer> <key>PreservePinConfigurations</key> <true/> </dict> My verbs would thus be: 21471C10 21471D40 21471E21 21471F01 21571CE0 21571D10 21571E11 21571F40 21671CF0 21671D10 21671E11 21671F40 21871C30 21871D90 21871EA1 21871F01 21971C40 21971D90 21971EA1 21971F42 21A71C50 21A71D30 21A71E21 21A71F01 21B71C20 21B71D40 21B71E21 21B71F42 21C71CD0 21C71D00 21C71E00 21C71F40 21D71C00 21D71D00 21D71E00 21D71F40 21E71CC0 21E71D00 21E71E00 21E71F40 21470C02 21570C02 Obviously, I am using a modded layout28.xml and Platforms.xml with my intended Path maps. My "System Information" shows my layout to be correctly configured, but there's no devices. (Attached screenshot) And when I boot I am getting several Sound Assertions: Sep 27 14:44:46 localhost kernel[0]: Sound assertion in AppleHDAController at line 4097 Sep 27 14:45:28 Tiamat kernel[0]: Sound assertion in AppleHDADriver at line 1746 Sep 27 14:45:30 Tiamat kernel[0]: Sound assertion in AppleHDAEngine at line 6578 Sep 27 14:45:30 Tiamat kernel[0]: Sound assertion in AppleHDAEngine at line 748 Sep 27 14:45:30 Tiamat kernel[0]: Sound assertion in AppleHDADriver at line 2285 Sep 27 14:45:30 Tiamat kernel[0]: Sound assertion in AppleHDADriver at line 217 Sep 27 14:45:31 Tiamat kernel[0]: Sound assertion in AppleHDADriver at line 1055 I've tried everything I can think of, and nothing so far has worked. I think the problem most likely lies in the AppleHDA binary but I have no way to be sure. Attached are my Ubuntu codec dump, the devices screenshot and my IOReg. Please, any help is welcome! card0-codec#2.txt Tiamat.ioreg.zip
17. At past versions of OSX we can use Antipop script, that not give OSX turnoff soundcard power at idle after 30sec. But in OSX Sierra, this script not working, so when no sound in soundcard between 30sec, OSX turn down power at soundcard, so when system need to play some notification sound, at first we can hear cracking pop sound, after sound of notification.

Realtek ALC650 kext help

Hi Forum, Does anybody know where I might find a kext that works with the Reatek ALC650 or does anybody know how I can patch my AppleHDA to work with this? My Compaq Presario SR1401NX has iPC OS X 10.5.6 installed,1GB DDR SDRAM with 2.66GHz Intel Celeron D with graphics Intel 82845G Extreme Graphics 64MB (shared memory) works OK (no kext to install) but my sound doesnt work. I tried installing the AC'97 Codec from the customize menu on install but that did not work either . Please help.
19. I have audio woking but when I open a heavy program like Maya 3D, close it, or when using it I get audio cutted and it jumps or freezes every second. I have used the computer for average things like browsing and watch movies for several days and audio works fine. But when I start to use Maya or Zbrush it starts to fail. Sometimes even starts to add lot of noise and slowing the speed of the audio. Trying to fix it I applied Toledas script http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/308387-el-capitan-realtek-alc-applehda-audio/ Using the I.1) method and does not fix the issue. I don't even know how to describe the problem so I cannot find a fix properly in the forum. Hope someone can point me in the right direction because I am having this issue from the beginning of this hackintosh and it's very annoying being watching a video tutorial and have to wait several minutes to come back the audio to work properly. My system is: Asus Rampage V Extreme USB3.1 CPU i7-6900K 3.2Ghz 64GB RAM at 2133Mhz Audio Realtek 1150 Thank you very much. Have a nice day.
20. Hi, I just installed Yosemite on my Asus Zenbook UX31L using #####. I have patched my kernel using this guide: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/top...-early-reboot/ I currently need to boot using bootflag -no-pz or else it gives me kernel pannics. Now I'm looking for drivers / kexts. - My wifi card is an Intel 7260, already found out OSX doesn't support any intel nic's. - I'm trying to use a USB 3.0 Gigabit RTL8153, not finding any drivers for that either. - For my audio I couldn't find my chipset online so I'm gonna try a Linux liveboot tomorrow to find out (I'll update this post asap). - For my videocard I would like to start this guide [FIX] Intel HD4400/HD4600 Mobile on Yosemite but I need an internet connection for the codesign command... So my main problem is an internet connection and the audio, so if anybody could help me with that, it would be greatly appreciated. 21.
22. So I installed Mountain Lion using iatkos ml2 and a few of the options in there, by the way just so everyone knows I am good at IT I'm just a noob when it comes to stuff like this... But I have to boot with "Graphics enabler=no" and I have to physically remove my graphics card which is not ideal "EVGA GTX 660 2GB SC" if i don't remove it I simply get this error (NVENABLER: PROBE:ROM SHADOW ENABLE Sometimes I get to this line "sound assertion in iohdacodecdevice at line 161" and then it boots other time it hangs almost randomly and I have to reboot Also I used to get this error alot "iobluetooth start completed" The motherboard I'm using is also presenting issues (MSI H87-G43) Whilst integrated graphics work using the graphicsenabler=no command and using a little ##### setting I can get it to run in 1920x1080x32 resolution this is post installation of course but I can't get the onboard sound to work which I believe is realtek (when no headphones are plugged in my computer seems to think there is no sound card installed (in windows 7/8) also can anyone help me as to why my USB wireless adapter isn't working... http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/315109356/802_11n_EDUP_150Mbps_1T1R_USB.html Either way once installed the only thing I have working is integrated graphics running at 1080x768 which is really grainy in places which is to be expected but my 8gb ram is detected. In short: Can anyone help me fix the onboard sound for my H87-G43 MSI motherboard? 23. Hello, Having a super unusual (possibly unique) problem with my network adapter here. Been up down half a dozen forums with no hits. This morning, I had a perfectly functional 10.8.2 installation. The internet was working just fine with Lnx2Mac Realtek kext. There were, however, some intermittent connection drops and packet loss problems. I isolated the problem to OSX by checking similar behavior on my Windows partition and my laptop (Windows/Linux dualboot). So then I decided to see if I could fix the issue by trying out a different kext. After backing both the Lnx2Mac and the IONetworkingFamily kexts, I uninstalled the Lnx2Mac kext, replaced it with Slide's newly released R1000SL. Repaired permissions, rebuilt the cache and rebooted. Internet stopped working. I just replaced the backed up files, rebooted to regain the internet, and when I came back in, internet still wasn't working. Now the really weird part is that, OSX still thinks that there's an Ethernet connection active even when I unplug the cable. In network settings, the Ethernet connection is shown as "Connected". It has an IP address (169.254.134.{censored}) and a Subnet Mask (255.255.0.0). However, it doesn't have an IP for the Router, or the DNS Server, or the Search Domains. Sure enough, when I check my router's connected devices page, my Hackintosh isn't visible there either. These settings don't change when I unplug the ethernet cable. The computer still thinks it's connected. I've never seen anything like this in my life. Can't figure out how to fix this for the life of me. I tried everything, including restoring kexts from my installation USB. No success whatsoever. If someone can point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it. I can provide an IOReg output if that's going to be helpful. Just let me know. Hardware: - Core i7 2600K 3.5GHz - ASRock P67 Extreme4 Gen3 (Realtek RTL8168 on-board) - Gigabyte nVidia GTX 680 Thanks!
