2. Hello, I have done a semi-successful install of macOS Sierra 10.12.6 on my Dell OptiPlex 3010. When I mean semi-successful, I mean I have some issues left, one of them is Networking. Networking, meaning Ethernet, does not seem to work on this machine after installing Mac OS. I've tried installing kext files, reinstalling Sierra, and so on but nothing seems to work, I have an Ethernet cable plugged and it's lights flashing and whatever but the connection does not show up in Sierra. My PC Specs are: Dell OptiPlex 3010 MT Intel Core i3-3240 @ 3.40GHz AMD Radeon HD 7470 4GB of RAM Realtek RTL8111E So, Any Help? -Discount_Mac
3. Hey guys! i just needed some help with my bluetooth. i have ar9462, i know its not compatible, but bluetooth should work out of the box. I know theres a way to load firmware with windows, and I've tried rebooting from windows into OS X, which doesn't seem to load it. I have an HP-M6-1045dx running MacOS Sierra with everything else pretty much working. Also, I found this dsdt patch, unfortunately i haven't figured out how to install it. Any help would be appreciated, thank you. https://github.com/matthew728960/Clover-ACER-E1-471G/blob/master/Tools/AR5B22/Atheros%20AR3012%20Bluetooth.txt Here's the dsdt patch it tells me to apply
4. Hi there, I've been struggling for a while now with getting my Asus z270g motherboard's onboard lan to work with Sierra. I've been able to get most of the other components working thanks to the generous efforts of this forum, but this last problem has been causing me quite the level of stress! The z270g apparently has a i219-v chip, however it appears to be a bit different than the device's supported by IntelMausiEthernet (Which I've heard works very well with that chipset). It's using deviceID 8086:15d6 After looking through the source of the driver it appears that the particular device id isnt being searched for: 00:1f.6 Ethernet controller [0200]: Intel Corporation Ethernet Connection (5) I219-V [8086:15d6] Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. Ethernet Connection (5) I219-V [1043:8672] Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 123 Memory at df100000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) Capabilities: <access denied> Kernel driver in use: e1000e Kernel modules: e1000e Here's what I've tried so far: With IntelMausiEthernet kext: Installed driver in /S/L/E and /L/E in addition to the Clover bootloader kext directory. By itself, none of these caused kextstat to load the driver automatically (Aside from the clover directory) Spoofing the Lan ID to something that the driver did support (ie one of the ones that was also using the i219v chipset), caused the driver to load (via kextstat), but no devices in system information or the network pref panel Followed a number of steps in the troubleshooting steps that Mieze listed with the same result (driver loaded but no devices) Didn't see any useful logging info in the debug info steps but happy to get that info if it would help With AppleIntelE1000e kext (from insanely mac)Very similar results to above With AppleIGB kextNo luck across the board (although I haven't tried spoofing the id with this drive) Happy to provide more information that would be relevant to the situation but not sure exactly what would help. Thanks!

Very Odd Network Behavior

I just did a clean install of Sierra and set everything up. All is working well, but I noticed something very strange. I am dual booting a Dell OptiPlex 7010 with Windows 10 on an SSD and Sierra on a separate HDD. While in windows my network is proper. I am behind a firewall and use the firewall DNS server settings and have the proper IP scheme. However when I boot into Sierra, I get a completely different IP scheme from the router DNS server that is on the outside of the firewall. I'm connected via a single ethernet line behind the firewall, so I cannot for the life of me figure out how my hackintosh is bypassing/skipping/passing through the firewall and going to the main router for DNS. This obviously causes problems, because I can't get to anything on my network from the Sierra build. This was not an issue on El Capitan before I wiped the drive and fresh started with Sierra. Any help or insight would be much appreciated.

Need Network Kexts

Hello, Im running Hackintosh 10.11 El Capitan on my laptop. I wanted to be able to use WiFi and Ethernet in my hackintosh, and here are my device ids (in Windows) of my network drivers : Wired : VEN_10EC&DEV_8168 (Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller) Wireless : VEN_14E4&DEV_4365 (Broadcom 802.11n Network Adapter) If anyone could help me search/make these network kexts, please do so, and post it here. Thank you very much for reading, and have a nice day!
8. Hello, I have a problem with my network. Gets disconnected apparently without any reason, just randomly, especially when downloading, but sometimes also when I'm only navigating. If I'm not wrong, ethernet model is an RTL8111/8169 (or 8168, I'm not sure...), and the kext which I'm using is the RTL81xx which is the only that works for me... I tried a lot of them. I would try to use wi-fi but I don't have the kext driver for my Linksys WMP600N. Plus, I'm too far from the router so I guess the signal would be very bad. That would be the 2nd option, in case we can not solve the above problem... Any suggestions? RealtekRTL81xx.kext.zip
9. Hello, I've brought Atheros AR5B95 lately and I tried to configure the wifi to work but with no hope! Ive installed many kexts and with no luck ! so far I got the Card to be shown but when I hit Turn on Wi-Fi nothing happens! tried to remove the card , the configure for the wifi disappeared Guides shown on the internet shows that the wifi will work after installing the required kexts only any help?!
10. Hello, I am new to this forum. I decided to install Mac OS X SL on my old computer (I am building a new one for Christmas). Here are my specs(very crappy): Intel Pentium D 945 3.4GHZ - ASRock N73PV-S - 4GB DDR2 RAM - NVidia Geforce 9400GT 1GB - 500GB HDD. So I've downloaded iAtkos S3 V2, burned it on a DVD, Configured evrything to install and installed is. Booted succesfully. But I still have some problems: there is the famous VoodooHDA problem that makes the crakling noise, second that the internet doesn't work at startup, I have to open Network in settings and it recognize a new network interface (same at every startup) and when connected, it would be fast for the fist 5 or so minutes and then slows down util it stops. And last, my Video Card is not recognized (unknown Nvidia card - 1024MB). Please help me, I want it to be fully functional. Any help is appreciated.
11. Hi guys I just finish to upgrade my hackinthosh to El Capitan with clover. All work just fine, but i have a specific problem with streaming, i use Plex on this hackinthosh ( is my media server) and is connected to an apple Tv3 With OSX 10.10.5 this mac play video just fine no problem at all. But now with El Capitan the video freeze after 20 sec. I try a lot of fix with plex I replace the RealtekRTL8111 with the version 2.0.0 but there is no change. Hello people, i have some problem with my hackintosh under with clover Yosemite : - Audio works but i have some problem every 40 minutes, the sound don't work during 20 seconds with scratch and come back to the normal after. - Internet work but after 40 minutes of utilisation internet don't work during 5 minutes and come back to the normal after. So i find on google this dsdt for my motherboard: https://github.com/thinker0/z87x-ud3h But this dsdt don't match with my dsdt generate with Clover Configurator and when i try to use this dsdt, yosemite don't want to boot. Maybe i don't apply correctly this dsdt, but the author say it is for os x yosemite and special for this motherboard, so if someone one can help me to resolve my problem it will be cool I link my config.plist Thanks. config.txt
14. I have standard WPA-PSK working on my 10.10 laptop with a generic RT73 usb stick (in specific brand: LevelOne). The RalinkUtility prefpane I've been using works fine for my home network (WPA-PSK), however it doesn't work with the WPA-EAP at my school. Is there any way to get that to work? I've tried the Ralink WirelessUtility but it's broken on 10.10... at least the version I tried that's straight from MediaTek. I have seen that version has a 802.11x tab which can be used for WPA-EAP Is there any way to get it to work? Edit: I would prefer not to get into DSDT, but clover is ok, as I have no experience in DSDT and going to learn it later on, but just want to get WiFi working at school so I can at least use it at school.
15. I've built a couple Hackintoshes, but I suddenly inherited a 2012 Chronos 7 laptop. Decided to start with VMware. Installed player 7 and unlocked it. Created a VM with with plop image. I know there are various instructions of how to install os x. However, I have a vanilla bootable ML USB drive lying around so decided to try. Set the vm to os x 10.8 and booted. Presto, I have os x running and can login. However, no matter how I set the networking in vm, the Mac doesn't have a nic. I played with vmnetcfg, but no luck. I have ##### on the drive, but don't know which if any driver to install. If you tell me, go follow proven methods, I'll understand, but I'd love to know at least why it doesn't work.
16. Hi there, i installed osx 10.10 via clover a few weeks ago. Everything's fine, including my GTX970. Now i have the Problem: When i transfere many gigabytes to my NAS Server, the system hangs after transfering about 20-50 GB. I can move the mouse and type something in my browser, but nothing's responding. I have to hard power of the system and reboot. I have had this issue a few time for now, every time i have large load over the network. Im using the AppleIntelE1000e.kext but not shure wich version and where i can get the newest. But i have no idea if the network card is the Problem. Do you have some tips for me? Greetings Julian
17. Hi guys, so I finally installed OSX Mavericks on my VMWare machine and things are looking ok apart from the network and the sound. During the initial installation, I had to choose "this computer will not connect to the internet" during the setup part where you choose internet connections and languages etc... as it just kept going back to the start of setup every time. I finally managed to get into OSX and now I need to find out how to get the network working so i can use the internet. I've attached a screenshot of what it looks like below in the network options: I've tried choosing bridge in VM Machine Settings but can't seem to get it working. Any ideas guys? Also, any ideas on the sound would be great too! Cheers!

20. Hi, I will add a new network card (HP NC360T) to to my system which works OOTB. Therefore I will disable my current onboard lan which is currently recognized as en0. After deleting the obsolete Kext for my disabled onboard card, which plist do I have to delete, to get the first port of my new network card to be recognized as en0? Naturally it will be recognized as en1, which causes problems with Messages. Which other steps would be necessary (eg. rebuild caches)?
21. Hi Guys, First of all i have to say that since its a common issue I tried a lot of things before posting here. But nothing could solve my problems. I installed ML 10.8.4 on my pc and everything works except for the iCloud, AppStore, iMessage and Facetime. First things first.. here is some info of my computer: Motherboard: ASUS P6X58-E PRO Wireless: PCI Express - TP-Link TI-WDN4800 Not using DSDT, only kexts. I tried the following solutions: - Ethernet BuiltIn = Yes (did not connect to any of apple services) - Use EFI Studio (computer did not boot) - Remove/Add Networks and delete NetworksInterfaces.plist (did not connect to any of apple services) - Update Chamaleon Bootloader (updated, but did not connect to any of apple services) Also this http://rampagedev.wordpress.com/os-x-tweaks/how-to-create-a-recovery-partition-and-enable-all-features-of-icloud-and-imessages/ Any help? (P.S: after try to fix i noticed this) WTF?
22. Hi! I've got a pc desktop with this hardware: Intel Pentium 4 - 3.00 Ghz Motherboard ASUS P4S800D ATI Radeon Ve VGA standard SoundMAX Audio inside motherboard ASUS 1.5 GB Ram DDR (so I can't install OS X Lion...or yes?) I need to install OS X and use some Dj programs, so i need to have a good Hackintosh and fully working. I tried with OS X Hazard and it works but there isn't the driver for my audio car, for graphic card and network card. If it's possibile, I'll want to work with original OS X Snow Leopard, so i downloaded a version of this OS (10.6 Final). Can you help me? Thanks
23. Hi there, I managed to install OSX Mavericks on a separate partition of my system with myHack 3.2 beta 8. Unfortunately I don't see no pci cards like the network interface or soundcard. The booting hangs a while at "PCI configuration (begin/changed/end)" but after that Mavericks starts normal. The optional boot flags "npci=0×2000 or npci=0×3000" don't solve this problem. Anyone has a tip what to do? I installed the chameleon bootloader in Mavericks. But booting to it only works if the usb installer stick is plugged in (with chameleon bootloader installed on it). What do I have to do to get a working bootloader for Windows 7 (starts as default) and Mavericks? Thanks in advance!

I have Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme BCM5751 Gigabit Ethernet NIC, but when I try ro install the kext for it, it gives me an error about kern architecture type. Is there any way to run 32 bit kexts on a 64 bit OS? If not, how do I install Snow Leopard in 32 bit mode using chameleon boot loader? Attached is the kext I am trying to use.
