Sierra 10.12.6 High Sierra 10.13.6 Mojave 10.14.6 Catalina 10.15.7 macOS & Windows 10 Dual-Boot: Dual-boot clean install (on one drive), UEFI Only: Boot into your Mac installer, Create 2 partitions in GUID table (1 for Win (I used FAT32 but I think it doesn't matter what you choose), 1 for Mac), Install Mac, boot with your USB, mount your EFI partition (use terminal or an EFI mounter app), create an EFI folder (if there is no folder), copy the CLOVER folder I attached to the EFI folder, restart, Boot into your Win installer, Format the partition you created for Win, install. Now, it's automatically booting into Windows. To use Clover open cmd in administrator, type: bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \EFI\CLOVER\CLOVERX64.efi 5. You're done! It will booting into Clover when you start the system, and you can select Win or Mac (or another OS if installed on a 3rd partition). 2. Hi, I would like to ask for some advice or help even. I have had some usability issues in the past with my hackintosh so I installed Mojave for the second time but it keeps producing the same exact problem. Most of the time the system stutters and lags after login. The app icons just bounce if I want to open them and even if it does it takes forever. Another thing I picked up on is that it seems like there's no internet access whenever this occurs. The problem ceases after like 2-3 restarts and everything is back to normal. What could cause an issue like this? I had the same thing happening with my previous install but I thought that was because of unnecessary kexts I left in the EFI. I only have the bare minimum required this time so I'm kinda lost. Computer specs: Mobo: Gigabyte B360M D3H Graphics: Radeon Vega 64 8OC CPU: Intel i7 8700k Ram: 32 Gig SSD: Samsung Evo 860 250gb I also have a separate HDD with Windows 10 installed for gaming purposes. I would greatly appreciate any kind of help, thanks in advance! –David config.plist
  3. Hi there, I managed to install Mojave on my MSI GP62-6QE laptop with somewhat success. The only annoying thing left is that everytime I shut it down it seemingly kernel panics and I get the "Your computer has restarted because of a problem" at startup. I tried many different things such as removing emuvariablesuefi64, checking FixShutdown in CloverConfig but it seems the NVRAM is causing this issue. I have deleted the nvram file from the EFI partition but it seems stuck somewhere else, I can't clear out the nvram from the terminal or in single user mode as it returns a "Not permitted" error. Clearing out the nvram by pressing F11 at the boot menu screen works however. crashlog.rtf
  4. Mac mini 2018 Hackintosh This guide will help you setup macOS Mojave on your Gigabyte BRIX GB-BSi3H/GB-BSi5H/GB-BSi7H series. The best macOS version that works flawlessly is macOS Mojave which you can get almost everything to work with not much effort. Main Specs: CPU: Intel® Core™ i3-6100U2.3GHz Memory: 2 x SO-DIMM DDR3L slots (DDR3 1.35V) 1600MHz Max. 16GB LAN: Gigabit LAN (Intel i219V) Wifi Card: Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 Graphics: Intel® HD Graphics 520 HDMI Resolution (Max.) 4096 x 2160 @ 24Hz Mini DP Resolution (Max.) 3840 x 2160 @ 60Hz Audio: Realtek ALC255 Expansion Slots: 1 x M.2 slot (2280_storage) 1 x PCIe M.2 NGFF 2230 A-E key slot occupied by the WiFi+BT card Front I/O: 2 x USB 3.0 1 x head phone Jack 1 x Mic phone Jack Rear I/O: 1 x HDMI (1.4a) 1 x Mini DisplayPort (1.2) 2 x USB 3.0 1 x RJ45 1 x DC-In 1 x Kensington lock slot Storage: Supports 2.5” HDD/SSD, 7.0/9.5 mm thick (1 x 6 Gbps SATA 3) My Specs: Intel® Core™ i3-6100U2.3GHz Processor 8GB PC3L-DDR3 RAM (2x4GB Samsung Memory Modules) 1 Plextor 250 GB M.2 SATA SSD Disk Drive 1 Samsung EVO 860 500 GB SSD What works: USB ports: All 4 USB ports work perfectly fine with no need for using the custom SSDTs. Audio: Realtek ALC255 Audio codec works with AppleALC.kext (with Lilu) using Layout-id=11 (Thanks to the acidanthera developers (AKA dortania) (you can also use these layout-ids: 11, 13,15, 86) Lan: Intel Gigabit LAN (Intel i219V) works with IntelMausiEthernet.kext (Thanks to @Mieze) and IntelMausi.kext fork by acidanthera Graphics: Intel HD 520 works with Whatevergreen.kext Wi-Fi and Bluetooth: Intel Bluetooth works OOB macOS Mojave almost supports everything except for Intel Wi-Fi card which can be fixed with itlwm.kext and Heliport application which were developed by OpenIntelWireless project developers (thanks guy/s or gal/s) Here is the list of supported Intel Wi-Fi adapters that will work with itlwn.kext and Heliport. About activating the Wi-Fi you need to run the Heliport application which replaces macOS’s built-in Wi-Fi menu and you can scan and connect to all the available Wi-Fi networks around you. You need to add the Heliport.app to “Login Items” under the Users & Groups in System Preferences for it to load with macOS. Another issue with the Intel Wi-Fi and the macOS that I encountered is that the Signal Strength drops but it hasn’t disrupt my network connectivity so far so it could be a bug. Sleep works fine with macOS Mojave but I had no luck getting it to work on Catalina and Big Sur (I didn't even try that hard to get it to work anyways because I like Mojave better lol). What not works: The only thing that doesn’t work is the AirDrop which is because of the Intel Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and if you replace the Wi-Fi+BT card with a supported Broadcom adapter will work eventually. Here is the list of macOS Compatible Wi-Fi adapters (thanks to dortania group for the details list) Thanks to the Clover Bootloader's developers; Thanks to the acidanthera team and everyone else in the Hackintosh community for their hard work and support. Here is the EFI folder with Clover r5121: Gigabyte Brix Mojave Clover r5121.zip
  5. Hi there, If anyone could help I'd be very grateful, I'm trying to move from Clover to OC but have hit a brick wall for the last 2 days. It's an ACPI table error: SB_.PCIO.XHC_RHUB.HS11, Namespace lookup failure. Skylake Build: OpenCore 0.5.9 Mojave 10.14.6, iMac17,1 Asus Maximus Hero VIII 6700K I've attached the config.plist and ACPI folder. EFI Drivers: OpenRuntime.efi and HfsPlus.efi Kexts: IntelMausi, Lilu, VirtualSMC, Whatevergreen Things I've tried... 1) Clearing NVRAM (as it was previously booted by Clover) 2) Hackintool USB Mapping: both the SSDT files and the USBPorts.kext 3) USBInjectAll.kext (with and without SSDT files) 4) SSDT-RHUB.aml. This seems to be directly involved, spent a long time with this but with no luck. I followed this guide: https://dortania.github.io/Getting-Started-With-ACPI/Universal/rhub-methods/manual.html Everything is XHC in my DSDT, except these definitions at the top (line 72 and 73): External (_SB_.PCI0.XHC_.DUAM, MethodObj) // Warning: Unknown method, guessing 0 arguments External (_SB_.PCI0.XHC_.RHUB.INIR, MethodObj) // Warning: Unknown method, guessing 0 arguments So I edited the SSDT-RHUB.dsl to this: /* * Goal of this SSDT is to shut off the RHUB to force macOS into * manually building ports when the ACPI is screwed up */ DefinitionBlock ("", "SSDT", 2, "DRTNIA", "RhubOff", 0x00001000) { External (_SB_.PCI0.XHC.RHUB, DeviceObj) // Full pathing to RHUB, change to yours Scope (_SB.PCI0.XHC.RHUB) // Full pathing to RHUB, change to yours { Method (_STA, 0, NotSerialized) { If (_OSI ("Darwin")) { Return (Zero) // This disables the device only in macOS } Else { } } } } Which results in this AML version: DefinitionBlock ("", "SSDT", 2, "DRTNIA", "RhubOff", 0x00001000) { External (_SB_.PCI0.XHC_.RHUB, DeviceObj) Scope (_SB.PCI0.XHC.RHUB) { Method (_STA, 0, NotSerialized) // _STA: Status { If (_OSI ("Darwin")) { Return (Zero) } Else { } } } } But I get the same error. I'm at a complete loss, can anyone help? config.plist ACPI.zip

  7. I'm a software developer that's new to hackintoshing. Attempted both Catalina and Mojave. My current config gets stuck before the installer. The logo appears with progress bar near 1%. My previous attempts got me through to the installer where I used Disk Utility to Erase the disk and created one GUID partition with APFS format, and after several minutes the first reboot brings back the logo with progress bar near 1%. I never get to "x minutes remaining". Using DEBUG versions. opencore-log.zip ubuntu-logs.zip EFI.zip PS: SMBIOS/UUID redacted with sed in both log+config.
  8. Hello Everyone, Trying to get Hardware Acceleration working on my Hackintosh (HEVC Support) however I am such a noob, OpenCore is very new to me and would love some support. I have included screenshots and the EFI that is currently working on my System, I have USB 2 & 3.0 all working, however, the only thing I can fault is my GPU not being hardware acceleration enabled. Final Cut Pro X - Recognises GPU VideoProc - Doesn't recognise anything. (I am running the latest version of OpenCore 0.5.9) Things I've tried: I tried following the post https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/catalina-10-15-2-update-lost-hevc-h265-acceleration.288563/ - No Luck I have also tried: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/activate-amd-hardware-acceleration.2180095/page-53?post=28255048#post-28255048 - No luck either! My friend online tells me I shouldn't need such Kext as he has the same build as me but when I load his EFI on my system it boots with no USB 2 or 3.0 (I'm keeping his EFI off here as I've uploaded mine.) Please note: I appreciate all (any) pieces of advice and please do bear in mind that I am a noob and may need whatever you say simplifying as I can get easily confused. config.plist

    AMD sapphire RX480 with Mojave

Hi, I've an old machine (see the signature) that I want to use for xcode , when I'm too lazy to take my macbook pro. I tried install Sierra, and worked surprisingly well, but sadly it doesn't support the latest version of xcode. I tried to update to High Sierra, but in the first boot everything goes black. So I tried a clean install, and had the same result. Tried Mojave with the telemetry plugin hack (as I've not SSSE 4.2), and the installation went smooth, but in the first login, I've a mouse pointer (which moves!) over a blinking screen, gray and black, and seems stuck. Tried several SMBIOS, changing the Display port, HDMI, LILU with WhateverGreen, but with these 2 the verbose freezes pretty soon (if needed I can make a screenshot). So I know that this card should work OOB, but I've also seen that several people had this problem, but honestly I didn't figured it out how to continue. My pc doesn't have any integrated gpu. Please help me, I'm stuck! Thank you

    Laggy Mojave

Hello everyone, I've an Acer Aspire E5-574 running Mojave at last update, everything is fine, except by the laggy mouse, as the attached, when the system needs the graphic card (Intel HD 520) it's generates a lag. Thanks final_5e2761c58c6b910015da7cf6_967905.mp4 Send me MacBook-Pro-de-Murilo.zip
  22. Hello People, I have a dual-boot system with both Win10 and MacOS on separate drives. MacOS on an SSD while Windows is on a standard laptop HD. At first it was working fine and I haven't thought much of it but recently MacOS started acting weird. The first thing I noticed was that Clover somehow "forgot" my primary boot drive. This wasn't a huge issue though, as it was booting just fine once I hit enter on the drive selected. I updated Windows 10 to a newer build, however, I did all of this with the SSD drive unplugged just to be sure. Now Windows is working properly while MacOS is having some quite frustrating errors which make it impossible for me to work... Anyway, the problems are the following: - random reboots - apps freeze or won't start just "bounce" - internet not working(eventhough every other device connects just fine) - system is laggy overall I have tried emptying NVRAM int Terminal but I only got a message saying 'Error clearing firmware variables'. I've been searching for solutions on the web for the issue at hand but struggled to find one... I would really appreciate some help. I attached my config.plist down below. If more information is required, please let me know. Thank you!! config.plist
