1. I have installed Lion on Vmware and due to good performance I have decided to install natively on the computer using this method: http://tonymacx86.bl...lion-using.html My machine: Intel Desktop Board DH67B Intel Core i3-2100 Processor (3M Cache, 3.10 GHz) The video is integrated on the motherboard Samsung S19A300 18.5 inch Widescreen LED Monitor Two Kingston of 4GB DDR3 PC3-10700 1333MHz But I have some questions: 1. What would be the choices I make in #####? I found this topic with the option to place in the ##### But not any graphic option marked: http://www.tonymacx8...=141042#p141042 2. How to configure the integrated video motherboard? 3. Can you update the Lion without problems or I have to fix in each update? 4. I recognize the configuration of my monitor? 5. I found the DSDT file of the motherboard but not how to use it: http://olarila.com/f...c.php?f=7&t=219 Any help is appreciated as I am very new on Mac Thanks
2. A friend of mine called me for support in this project, so I put some effort to help him getting it work and wanted to write a few lines to explain how we reach this, knowing that still it's not 100%. Eventual advices will be greatly appreciated. With this particular hardware making it work was a little bit different than from guides I read. Bios settings: CFG-Lock: Disabled VT-d Tech: disabled Windows 8/8.1: enabled Boot mode: UEFI Check IGT instead of PEG to disable integrated graphic in BIOS preferences as we want to use NVIDIA card even without acceleration. User tominabox1 succeed with i6700k while we have an i7700k: need to patch Clover 2.4k (https://sourceforge.net/projects/cloverefiboot/ ) with Clover Configurator. First prepare usb stick: I followed this: http://beyondspec.org/2017/01/04/the-foreigner-macos-sierra-10-12-2-on-an-alienware-13-r3-2016/ A little bit of tweaking was enough to make it boot: /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other/ApplePS2SmartTouchPad.kext is useless because it's the driver for a touchpad we don't have. Now on Clover Configurator: Graphics>ig-platform-id and set it as 0x19120000 (nVidia GTX 1060) Kernel and Kext Patching>FakeCPUID and set it as 0x0506e3 SMBIOS > set it up like an iMac 17,1 Disable SIP: you can find it at Rt Variables>CsrActiveConfig. Set it to 0x67 /EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI/OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi is not needed as we used both OsxAptioFix2Drv.efi and OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi : boot was inconsistent but we found it working disabling PowerNap (dart=0) and Nvidia web driver (nv_disable=1) at boot. If you're lucky you'll see something like this: Graphics are recognized but there's only 8 MB of RAM because driver still is not installed. Here's the content of Driver64UEFI AppleImageCodec-64.efi AppleKeyAggregator-64.efi AppleUITheme-64.efi CsmVideoDxe-64.efi DataHubDxe-64.efi EmuVariableUefi-64.efi FSInject-64.efi FirmwareVolume-64.efi HFSPlus.efi NTFS.efi OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi OsxFatBinaryDrv-64.efi SMCHelper-64.efi Attached you can find the usb-stick's UEFI and the final hard drive's one, working silently with apple boot logo mode on. You can copy this after downloading lately Nvidia web drivers; indeed, Pascal support is now official: check latest version WebDriver-378.05.05.15f01. Guide here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/to...ver-updates-for-macos-sierra-update-04192017/ CUDA too is requested for best results. AGDPfix-2.app is needed before rebooting: check out the 1.3 version that will fix graphic's kext. After installing you need to patch audio: https://www.hackintosh.zone/file/136-all-in-one-sound-solution/ will work on 90% cases. In this particular case we found Voodoo generic driver working. If volume is too low go to /S/L/E/VoodooHDA.kext and find the key VoodooHDAEnableHalfVolumeFix and change it from "true" to "false" We know it's still a mess but after a long time working on it this is by far the only 100% working version with Wifi, ethernet, audio and video. The only problem is during shutdown when it fails unmounting disks. These are comparison's results between Crapintosh (? definitely I wouldn't call this no more after testing it) and an official iMac 17,1 5k lately-2015 with i6700K and AMD Radeon R9 M390 2048 MB Blur test on Photoshop: We created on both computers a 600dpi 12x12 inches image (CMYK 8 bit: a 197.8 MB file) with a colored square on it and then Filter > Blur > Radial Blur, setting amount to 100, "zoom mode" and "best" checked. Official iMac 5k did it on 01:08:03 Hackintosh did it on 00:56:57 I know that is only my opinion, but Apple would better consider in making new hardware and not only phones: results are so impressive, even boot is fast! 3. Intel HD 4600 Mobile graphics card glitches on Yosemite, but on system info it shows Intel HD Graphics 4600 1024 MB. I use this clover settings for graphics. config.plist/Graphics/Inject/Intel=true config.plist/Graphics/ig-platform-id=0x0a260006

[FIXED] Intel GMA HD 5700MHD

Hi Guys! This only works with 10.6 SNOW LEOPARD. Leopard unsure, Lion/ML doesn't work. First, follow this guide here. http://www.insanelym...pic=223754&st=0 Once you have the transparent menubar running, you will realise that there are lots of distortions. Fret not! Firstly, enable Screen Sharing. Make sure you allow VNC connections. Set a password for VNC clients. Then, get Chicken of The VNC. It's a VNC client. Get it set up and connected to your own hackintosh. Use the option 'View Only'. Run the client on your the machine with the GMA 5700. That's right - run it on the very same machine. KEEP IT RUNNING. You will realise that there are no more distortions! Now, you can watch Powerpoints and set Screensavers! However... I'm not sure about sleep and how to get Chicken of the VNC running at startup. NOTE: Minimise the VNC client. Use the desktop as normal. I'm not asking you to watch your PC thru a VNC client. You will notice that the display in the client might be distorted.
5. HI, I'm trying to enable my HD530 (i7-6700k) along my GTX 970 to use QuickSync and get better render times and all the advantages of it... also I need to use airplay mirroring. As now all is working except it, and i'd like to get it working. My problem is that when fcpx or another app exports the IGPU usage always stays at 0%... How can I solve this? (Kexts Lilu,Whatevergreen,AppleALC,Realtek8111,fakesmc) MY config and gen debug results attached. debug_3335.zip config.plist
6. Longtime, I was trying to enable qe/ci on my laptop (ASUS A55A) with Intel i7 3630QM CPU and its integrated graphic card (Intel HD Graphics 4000). I've Mavericks 10.9.0 installed on it. I tried a lot of ways to enable it, no results; for example, installing kexts, adding and changing parameters in plist, etc. So, please, someone help me . DSDT.txt

ACPI Kernel Panic

Hello to the community, I had to open a thread due to an error that is making me becoming crazy. I tried to install OS X on my AMD Toshiba Satellite L650D-101 (Snow Leopard, Lion, Mountain Lion) with every boot flag I know. The installation doesn't start, It freezes on a Kernel Panic "Unable to find driver for this platform "ACPI"... etcetera. I tried iAtkos L2, iAntares 10.6.3, Retail 10.6, Retail 10.8.2, but each of these distros gives me that Kernel Panic. My Toshiba's processor is an AMD Athlon II Dual-Core P320 2,10GHz. It has 4GB of Ram and a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5145. All the post-installation comes after, the "only" problem for now is to get in the installation menu. Thanks in advance

10. Hello. I am trying to get my Intel HD Graphics 3000 to work with full acceleration support and full resolution. Currently I am stuck with 1024x768 when the display is capable of 1600x900. I am running Sierra 10.12.3 and I am unable to change the SMBios from iMac14,2 Specifications are as follows: Make: Lenovo Model: ThinkPad T520 CPU: Intel Core i5 2540M 2.4GHz GPU: nVidia NVS 4200M + Intel HD Graphics 3000 (nVidia disabled) RAM: 8GB DDR3 HDD: 320GB Seagate HDD I am fairly new to Hackintosh/Hackbooks and have never successfully hackintoshed a device. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If any extra information is required I can provide.
11. If you have installed the kext PXHCD along with IOUSBFamily and IOUSBMassStorageClass modified, delete, then download the GenericUSBXHCI.. Then it is necessary that install along with the GenericUSBXHCI and IOUSBFamily and IOUSBMassStorageClass original (without modification) OS X. Install with Kext Wizard, and then repair permissions, and rebuild cache, then run this code in Terminal: sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions Has now been resolved, all is working With A Little Help From My Friends (The Beatles song ). What I did. Now for we do not have problem with power management, like this: and put DropOem> False, and P - C States > False in config.plist Generate SSDT with Pike script: curl -o ssdtPRGen.sh https://raw.github.com/Piker-Alpha/RevoBoot/clang/i386/libsaio/acpi/Tools/ssdtPRGen.sh chmod +x ssdtPRGen.sh ./ssdtPRGen.sh Why I did this? As you all know Clover generates states and turbo automatically for Ivy Bridge CPUs. but I forgot about that, and was using SSDT.aml ACPI/patched...and it was hindering, states and turbo, USB 3. as it were with duplicated codes. Look: SSDT.aml in EFI\Clover\ACPI\patched 5:629 0:003 Inserting SSDT.aml from EFI\CLOVER\ACPI\patched ... Success 5:656 0:026 CPUBase=0 and ApicCPUBase=1 ApicCPUNum=8 5:658 0:002 Maximum control=19 5:660 0:002 Turbo control=1F 5:663 0:002 P-States: min 0x7, max 0x1F 5:665 0:002 SSDT with CPU P-States generated successfully 5:667 0:002 SSDT with CPU C-States generated successfully and generated by Clover. 5:615 0:002 Drop tables from Xsdt, SIGN=SSDT TableID= Length=0 5:617 0:002 Xsdt has tables count=16 5:619 0:002 Table: SSDT CB-01 1790 dropped 5:621 0:002 Table: SSDT CB-01 2408 dropped 5:624 0:002 Table: SSDT CB-01 2706 dropped 5:626 0:002 corrected XSDT length=140 are right now, only SSDT.aml (generate by Pike script). Watch this note. In all OS X systems up to and including Sandy Bridge, native power management was enabled by ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin.kext, a plugin in IOPlatformPluginFamily.kext. For Ivy Bridge processors, native power management is enabled with the X86PlatformPlugin.kext. HD3000 processors on a 7 Series motherboard should not use Ivy Bridge power management. (Toleda) To load the kext X86PlatformPlugin must use the plugin-type 1 in the SSDT, so will the correct management for Ivy Bridge. So disregard the idea of excluding "plugin-type 1" of SSDT. (As I was advised before) Check if everything is right. Open IORegistryExplorer, and check, if you use Ivy Bridge should look like this: Now if you use Sandy Bridge: Now both USBs as States and Turbo are correct, if you want to check using the AppleIntelCPUPowerManagementInfo.kext: Mar 1 15:57:57 Allans-MacBook-Pro kernel[0]: AICPUPMI: v3.3 Copyright © 2012-2014 Pike R. (35W) Note 2: I used a code to get a better GPU performance: sudo cp /System/Library/Extensions/IOPlatformPluginFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin.kext/Contents/Resources/MacBookPro8_1.plist /System/Library/Extensions/IOPlatformPluginFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin.kext/Contents/Resources/MacBookPro9_2.plist ; sudo perl -pi -e 's|MacBookPro8,1|MacBookPro9,2|g' /System/Library/Extensions/IOPlatformPluginFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin.kext/Contents/Resources/MacBookPro9_2.plist ; sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions But that changes the ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin plugin, and now that it is not used, it is no longer necessary. Note 3: Sometimes some USB 2.0 devices do not work with GenericUSBXHCI, eg Adapters microSD cards. And so for they can be mounted in OS X, use it in config.plist: <key>Arguments</key> <string>-gux_defer_usb2 -gux_no_idle</string> With all right, you can enable Hibernate mode in OS X Credits: Pernacabeluda, Mirone (Olarila) and @maleorderbride (InsanelyMac), and Slice, apianti (ProjectOSX), and Pike for ssdtPRGen. EDIT: After enable usb3.0, had problems with sleep. How unable to solve? removing _PRW of LID0 restar and, problem fixed. Now i have perfect USB3, and Sleep. Credits: Pernacabeluda (Olarila) and Oldnapalm. Fix para wake imediato após Sleep.
12. Hi guys, this is my first desktop Hackintosh Specs are as follows: Gigabyte EP45-UD3LR Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 NVIDIA Geforce 210 1024 MB VRAM When using NullCPU power management you can see the temps are really great. The performance is definitely better without that kext, but when I am using no NullCPU and use the Generate P and C states options in Clover, along with Drop OEM SSDT, temps go up to 60ºC all the time, whether it is heavy load or idling. I know the ssdtPRGen.sh doesnt work with this kind of CPU , which is not even properly recognized in mac.... What should I do to get some native CPU power management up on this baby? Thanks in advance. Here is my Clover folder CLOVER.zip
13. Laptop/Notebook :- HP Pavilion G6-2149TX System configuration :- Intel Core-i5 3210M 2.5 GHZ processor 6 GB 1600 MHZ RAM Intel HD 4000 + ATI Radeon HD 7670M (2 GB) graphics 750 GB HDD 15.6" 1366x768 display Was running Yosemite 10.10.1 (N{censored}) with working DSDT (RehabMan Laptop Patches) & Kexts, Following worked :- Intel HD 4000 graphics with QE/CL & Brightness fix (DSDT Patch) from RehabMan Sound Ethernet I did a clean install of El Capitan 10.11.1 (Downloaded from App Store & used U{censored}) on internal HDD (Only MAC OS is present, no other OSs). Internal Keyboard & TouchPad doesn't work in installer & Recovery. Restored a Time Machine backup of working Yosemite 10.10.1 that I made earlier, installed Clover, Essential CustoMac package, configured Clover plist & set SMBIOS to MacBookPro 9,2, injectIntel in Graphics, KernelLapic (as I coudn't boot without using BootArg "cpus=1"), RtVariables "CsrConfig=0x3". Sound & Ethernet works out-of-the-box (Maybe due to Yosemite Time Machine backup). Now, I must inject ATI & disable InjectIntel in Clover Bootloader in order to boot in to El Capitan. No QE/CL for ATI graphics though (Choppy Graphics), let alone Brightness fix. Intel HD 4000 shows up as "Display 4 MB" under "About MAC" & "System Report -> Graphics". Shutdown/Restart is also not working. I did try previously working DSDT (of Yosemite) in El Capitan using Clover config.plist, but, gives Panic due to something like ATI6000Controller (ATI GPU, maybe?). I had working SSDT in Yosemite for CPU Power Management but, CPU works better without it (Less CPU temp). But, with El Capitan, I don't think Kexts are being used/loaded into OS, especially NullCpuPowerManagement.kext (Fault of SIP, maybe?) I want to use Intel HD 4000 graphics natively (instead of ATI graphics by injection) with QE/CL & Brightness control, get CPU management by SMBIOS (using NCPM.kext) without using SSDT, Ability to use 3rd party Kexts, Working Shutdown/Restart Please help me to find solutions...
14. I had sleep and everything functioning fine before i switched system definitions a few times and ultimately went back to the classic Mac Pro 3,1. Now my sleep doesn't wanna work, any ideas? I'm on 10.10.2 Yosemite Clover uefi https://vid.me/KR7q What is happening: Hackintosh sleeps the display, and the systems fans keep spinning and functioning as if the system never went into sleep, and my APPLEHDA resets when i "wake up the system" (press a key on the keyboard) as if the computer actually went to sleep
15. Hi all, I'm doing a mackintosh in a EliteBook 840 G2. it has an Intel HD 5500 Graphics Card. and I can't figure out how to make it work properly, when I check Inject intel on clover I get this loop below, it keep looping over these two different lines: RTUSBWriteMACRegister: Offset = 0x1314 - Value 0x3030505 ... AGS: ---> MlmeDynamicTxRateSwitchingAGSv2 ... RTUSBWriteMACRegister: Offset = 0x1314 - Value 0x3030505 ... AGS: ---> MlmeDynamicTxRateSwitchingAGSv2 here is my CLOVER folder with my current config.plist: CLOVER.zip if someone can help me with this I'll be so glad.
16. I have a fully working laptop with Yosemite 10.10.3 HP dv4-2160us. I just wanna know if i can install Sierra and get my devices working (Intel HD, Wifi, Webcam, USB, Audio in/out, Hibernation etc..) This mackintosh was previously made by following this guide: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/286092-guide-1st-generation-intel-hd-graphics-qeci/, and the latest version of Intel HD is for El Captan.. Thanks in advanced. Tiago My laptop is Arrandale, sorry for the mistake.
17. Hi everybody, After fresh updated my hackintosh system (old fashioned...) i get some troubles with the power management. Sometime after sleeping the system won't boot on OS X. I recently installed El Capitan original with my USB key and the app dowloaded on the app store without any tool just burned it on the USB drive with disk utility. Sometime booting after sleeping works very well and sometimes not at all. I was thinking about an incompatibility with my specs. But not sure and thought it was because of the AppleIntelACPI Power Management kext. My BIOS is configurated with S3 sleep only and i use a little Overclock on it : 2,80Ghz RAM at 800mhz to ~3,4Ghz RAM 1100Mhz. I have no problem with Windows 7, 8.1, 10. It's only on Mac OS X. Is anyone can help me, please My specs are : Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 2,80Ghz OC 3,40Ghz MB : ASUS P5QL-E bios last updated RAM : 4*1GB RAM Corsair 800Mhz OC 1100Mhz SSD : Sandisk Ultra II 128Go SATA 3GB HDD : 2*500GB raid Seagate 2,5" GPU : Asus GT630 4BG DDR3 PSU : LEPA 80Plus Bronze 550W Thank you to all the community for all your help. And sorry for my english if is there any mistakes in my post. I'm a fu***** frenchie
18. Hello, you need help so there will be some kext for centrino wireless n-2200?? any solution ?? I have a laptop Lenovo IdeaPad Y480 only thing not working is the Wi-fi recommend I do, could change the wifi card??? thanks
19. Hello there, I know that is too early to ask this, but I wonder if someone has the HD530 working under HighSierra. I have a kernel panic when booting with latest Lilu and IntelGraphicsFixUp, with beta flags, and using the same config working under Sierra. Thanks
20. Situation: Intel CT Desktop Adapter EXPI9301CT (82574L) installed on multiple hacks (Z77X-UP5TH, X58A_UD3R, AsusP5Q). Adapters are working fine either with Hnak AppleIntelE1000e or edited Intel82574L kext. They are on separate network, W/O internet access, connected to NAS, delivering 110 Mb/s write & 111 Mb/s read ..... and that's great. However, from specific reason, I would like to have jumbo frames enabled: - MTU set to 9000, after 30 seconds connection drops off. In system preferences it says that adapter is connected and working, but it is not and I can not access any shares. - MTU set to 4000. Connection stays on, according to Blackmagic Disk Speed Test I have 115 Mb/s write but 0 read. In order to rule out errors in other network equipement I have tried: - Connecting through managed switch to 4 port link aggregated NAS (4 port Intel server adapter on Debian Linux) - Connecting directly to one port on NAS - Connecting two hacks with Intel CT Desktop Adapter directly Results are always the same as described above, so conclusion is that error is somewhere in OSX driver or some specific settings. According to older threads it looks like that some users actually have jumbo frames enabled, without any issues? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
