  2. Hi, I'm having trouble installing Hackintosh High Sierra on my Megaware laptop, which has an Intel Pentium T4400 processor, and an old Pegatron motherboard.   3. Hi, Finally I finished the installation of 10.14.6 on my Dell E5440. Everything works just fine, but HDMI will not work. Every time I plug it in, it causes a grey screen on my laptop monitor.   5. Hey everyone, after years I come back to Hackintosh. In the early days I played with ozmosis and my good old 4700k. Now I'm back and worked around a 100% working setup with enough power to get me through all my tasks like audio, video cut etc. In this short tutorial I will guide you through BIOS Settings and give you access to my EFI Folder. This I do because I haven't found anything on the web for my setup. Maybe it will help some of you. When you follow the steps you will have a perfect running Hackintosh like I do have now I've chosen the iMac 18,3 because of the easy integration of both Graphic Units and the support of HEVC. Specs: CPU: Intel i7 9700k (Overclocked in Bios to 4,7 GHz) SMBIOS: iMac18,3 (Because of Dedicated Graphics and HEVC Intel Support) RAM: 32GB G.Skill Trident Z RGB DDR4-3200 DIMM CL16 (XMP Profile to 3200MHz) Motherboard: MSI MPG Z390 GAMING PRO CARBON (MS-7b17) <- It's the model without WLAN/Bluetooth Graphic Card: Sapphire RX580 Nitro+ Bluetooth & WLAN: Broadcom Card in PCI Adapter What is working: Almost everything! Hi, I followed the rehabman guide (linked in the vanilla guide on the side of r/Hackintosh, not sure if I can link it) for laptops for my yoga 730ILW13 with an 8265u, Conexant 11870, 8gb of ram, 13.3" fhd and I found that upon booting the installer usb I get this weird issue where the screen displays what it should but the screen is incredibly dim (though it was off before using a flashlight on it) and it flashes every few seconds for a few milliseconds to the correct brightness, I used the plist for hd615-650 (including my 630), not quite sure what could be the culprit, first time hackintoshing a laptop so it might be a stupid brightness kext I forgot but didn't find any in that post or in this forum :c Attached the clover zip so that anyone with more experience than me might give an idea in what could be a way to fix this. Just recently installed Mojave on my yoga 730(i5-8250u, 8gb of ram and 1080p 13.3" touchscreen) and got many features working, now the only issues are that my igpu is shown as only 7mb(and not metal capable, not sure whether it is or not) even tho I should've changed it from 5917 to 5916 (added both EFI folder and send me), the screen is shown as a 30.5" in system information and the cpu even tho I extracted the ssdt for it with ssdtPRGen.sh and appleintelinfo.kext to get low frequency info (ssdt was done with info 15,400,1600,3400 so it should go between 16-3400mhz and down to 400 in idle), idk what is wrong with my installation, can you guys help me or linke me something to fix those issues? Ps thunderbolt shows as no device found, is it regular for hackintoshes to be that way or do I need something for that too?   11. I'm in the middle of my first hackintosh (High Sierra) on my ZenBook Pro UX501VW-US71 laptop using the Vanilla Install. I've tried using different config.plst files and I've gotten the furthest with RehabMan's own (linked here). It hangs at error message IOConsoleUsers: gIOScreenLockState 3, hs 0, bs 0, now 0, sm 0x0.   12. HI, I'm trying to enable my HD530 (i7-6700k) along my GTX 970 to use QuickSync and get better render times and all the advantages of it... also I need to use airplay mirroring. As now all is working except it, and i'd like to get it working. My problem is that when fcpx or another app exports the IGPU usage always stays at 0%... How can I solve this? Ciao a tutti, ultimamente ho deciso di mettermi al lavoro e fare un investimento a lungo termine comprando un fisso che ho assemblato pezzo dopo pezzo leggendo numerosi forum per essere bene informato sul miglior hardware che potessi ottenere per un Hackintosh ottimizzando al meglio i costi: ho finito così per comprare: Hardware: -Motherboard: Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro (Rev 1.0) -CPU: Intel i7 9700k raffreddato a liquido (CoffeLake) -GPU: AMD Radeon RX580 (avendo letto le eccellenti prestazioni a ottimo prezzo per MacOS) -RAM: 32GB DDR4 Crucial Ballistix Sport LT (4x8GB 3000MHz) -NVMe SSD Samsung 970 Evo 250GB M.2 dedicato solo a MacOS, nel secondo slot della Mobo M.2 avrei poi messo un Western Digital Blue da 250GB con Windows 10 su metà disco e per l'altra metà il Debian che sto utilizzando adesso Poi mi sono messo subito al lavoro per cercare di far partire questo benedetto MacOs su una macchina non ufficiale, ho tovato quindi questa guida su GitHub che era molto simile alla mia configurazione: https://github.com/cmer/gigabyte-z390-aorus-master-hackintosh/blob/master/STEP_BY_STEP.md Dopo aver fatto partire una macchina virtuale per configurare la USB come comunemente viene fatto, scaricando l'applicazione e facendo il "burn/copia dei file" di macOS su pennetta esterna rendendola bootabile solamente da un pc ufficiale mac, sono passato alla configurazione di Clover (l'EFI installer, cartella che allegherò qui sotto, ma prima leggete il problema): Ho messo i driver necessari, mettendo quelli che lui menzionava sotto la sezione "building the usb installer" https://hackintosh.gitbook.io/-r-hackintosh-vanilla-desktop-guide/building-the-usb-installer Install Clover for UEFI booting only Install Clover to the ESP Under Drivers64UEFI: AptioMemoryFix (the new hotness that includes NVRAM fixes, as well as better memory management) (che poi ho dovuto rimuovere, leggi sezione https://github.com/cmer/gigabyte-z390-aorus-master-hackintosh/blob/master/STEP_BY_STEP.md#fixing-kernel-panics-at-rebootshutdown) VBoxHfs-64.efi (or HFSPlus.efi if available) - one of these is required for Clover to see and boot HFS+ volumes. The HDMI port on our motherboard is NOT yet working for Hackintoshes. - Make sure the serial number generated is an iMac (mid-2017) by clicking Model Lookup. - Ensure that Check Coverage reports that the serial is NOT valid. You don't want to use somebody else's serial number. - While you're here, copy your Board Serial Number to your clipboard. You'll need it soon. This should work just fine for a Vanilla Hackintosh install and is how genuine Macs ship. Credo che sia questo piccolo problema: la NVRAM. Non riesco bene a capire dove cercare per sapere con esattezza se è supportato nativamente o meno. Ho cercato di informarmi, voi potreste dirmi se è vero? Togliendo quindi qualsiasi test.efi o test2- 2016.efi ed ascoltando chi ne sapeva di più. Ora mi trovo a dover affrontare diverse volte questo errore dovendo riavviare per risolverlo, cosa che mi fa dedurre che Osxaptiofix2 2000 sia un po' instabile nel pulire la NVRAM prima di avviare la macchina/ allo spegnimento di questa. Questo problema di couldnt allocate runtime area persiste sebbene prema F12 dalla schermata di Boot di Clover. Vi chiedo gentilmente una mano, inoltre mi è stato detto che siccome il sistema da: -"3.6 GHz unknown nella sezione "Processor" -non riconosce la RAM con un Vendor ID? (del tipo Ballistix dovrebbe essere?) Serve di rivedere il config.plist che ho creato, rivedere i DSDT e gli efi? sono a posto?, (mi hanno detto che gengik84 fare, ma accolgo volentieri l'aiuto di tutti) , vi mando una foto della schermata di "About this Mac" e della EFI in allegato. Quello che farò sicuramente mentre attendo vostre risposte è il downgrade da 10.14.3 Beta a 10.14.2, l'upgrade l'ho fatto pensando che magari avrei aggiustato qualcosa, ma l'errore come lo dava prima lo dà ora, non credo che questo cambi molto le cose in gioco.     Help! My Graphics Doesn't Work!

    Hi, Please help me to enable and use hd 3000 with Mojave. I know that I can install some .bundle or .kext files to make it can be enable. But it always show an err msg up. "IOConsoleUsers gIOScreenLockState 3 ......" I have tried to reinstall the refi drivers and kexts. but still not solved this issue. So apple has presented a new and updated mac mini a few days ago, and the great news seems to be the use of desktop processors in it, in fact, all the specs seems to match a typical desktop socket 1151 v2 coffeelake system without a dedicated gpu, so i am wondering if the smbios of this machine could be our new smbios of preference for coffeelake desktop machines. So i have created this new topic to discuss about it. Of course we will have to wait to do tests using the first public version of mac os which integrates this smbios, because when every new mac is released it's smbios is available initialy just in a purpose made mac os build and then it's added for all the os builds in the following releases.   16. Hello! My Intel HD 630 isn’t functioning on MacOS Mojave (or High Sierra) It only shows 5MB of VRAM. Things i tried: Whatevergreen&Lilu Clover IntelGFX (Fake ID) Clover IG-Platform-ID (Need to use the one now or my Mac won’t boot) Clover Patches Boot args Setting the NVRAM myself (Clover) AppleIntelKBLFramebuffer.kext (Forced load by clover) FakeCPUID (tried many different ones) Other Clover settings: SMBIOS: iMac18,2 (Native HD 630 Support, can’t get it to work) My processor is a Intel Pentium G4620 Other Hardware: NVidia 1050 GTX (Not supported on Mojave, Workaround is not my favorite) If someone has any other idea whatsoever anything is welcome as I ran out of ideas and places for a answer (I’m the only one with the 5MB issue, others have 4 or 7MB)
  17. This is bothering me for a long time now: Why does Apple deliberately disables the the RX4xx, RX5xx capabilities to hardware encode HEVC and is using Intel Quicksync instead? Is it to make the iMacPro look better than it is? I stumbled over a thread at tony-mac where people are going a totally different road for Radeon graphics. Instead of hassling around with getting Quicksync to work, they proposed to activate the AMD hardware renderer for Polaris GPU's. I tried it out and it works...somewhat I used a dummy kext from that tomato thread and edited it, so that it enables the AMDU7V4 IOGVACodec like on Vega cards, switched to iMacPro1,1 SMBIOS from iMac18,3, disabled the IGPU and the results were astonishing: My 3:34min 4k50p film was rendered by FCP with HEVC in 2:34 minutes. Nearly half the time than with Quicksync! With the iMac18 SMBIOS and the "help" of Intel Quicksync it took FCP 4:41 minutes to get it done! The problem is: As soon as the "wrong" IOGVACodec is enabled H.264 encoding leads to Mojave crashing at once (be it FCP, QuickTime or Videoproc). Watching H264 material is fine, though. If anyone has any idea how to handle this, I would be very grateful. I would even accept Mojave using software encoding for H264 if I could keep this amazing speeds on HEVC! BTW: Without IGPU on iMacPro1,1 SMBIOS no problem with DRM or iTunes, no need for Whatevergreen or Shiki. That is a bonus Ellesmere.kext.zip
  18. Dear All, I followed the Olarila (MaLd0N's) guide and made the Mojave USB. I had to install the system using an invalid GPU FakeID (0x12345678) to get past the KP. Even after installation, my system going into KP if I don't use this invalid fakeid. With the FakeID, my system reports 7mb VRAM with Intel HD630. I am using the DSDT from my 10.13 installation. Used: Whatevergreen.kext Tried putting different FakeIDs Put the Whatevergreen and Lilu in /Library/Extensions Tried without Whatevergreen. The same setup used to work with 10.13. My Laptop details are in my signature. Since when I updated to 10.13.6 (and possibly .5 since i don't use usbs that often) my usb 3.0 drives don't work on usb 3.0 ports or hubs and work only if inserted slowly and get recognized as usb 2.0s in that case (480mb/s in sysinfo) and if i try to put my hackintosh to sleep the screen turns black for a second and then it takes me to the login screen instead of going to sleep, this usb issue happened to me on 10.13.2/3 too, is there a way to fix it ?   20. Introduction The H370 chipset powers 8th generation Intel Core-i CPUs. Even though the name H370 rings comparable to Z370, the H370 is based on newer silicon. This it also requires some new approaches compared to the Z370. An example would be on-die USB 3.1 and WiFi support. Since this guide is not a "hold-your-hand-every-step" guide, I assume you know: Clover installation and configuration How to create an install medium for MacOS Access and configure the BIOS Have heard of ACPI patching (I'm a newb at this myself) What works Sleep (via DSDT edits and emulated NVRAM) On-board Audio (via AppleALC and native AppleHDA) Native power management (without any kext or patch) All USB ports (and only those present are active) iGPU for both acceleration and display dGPU (I'm running an Nvidia GTX 1080) Untested NIC --> I'm using WiFi only What doesn't work Native NVRAM via AptioMemoryFix.efi DMVT Pre-alloc higher than 64MB (but not necessary) Community additions User @Panzerschiffe added a helpful post, altering this guide for user with AMD cards and not needing on-board sound. He also runs Mojave, which I don't run yet. In testing is a Framebuffer patch, see this post. 04.03.19: Added Germany keyboard layout and updated pre-patched DSDT.aml removed DSDT patching 1. Installation This guide heavy inspired by the work of /u/corpnewt of /r/hackintosh and his (sorta) Vanilla guide 1.1 Create the install media for MacOS Follow this, if you are using a Mac to start off with. If you are totally new to MacOS, then please check the basic guide Creation of an installer media in windows or linux 1.2 Install Clover on the install media Using the Clover installer, ensure you are installing to the USB medium you are using for the installer. Chose the following options, leaving the others on default: UEFI driver: AptioMemoryFix UEFI driver: ApfsDriverLoader UEFI booting only Install to ESP You have to get your hands on an apfs.efi. A google search can help, or extracting it from the Installer package. Make sure you procure a version matching the MacOS version you are about to install. Place the apfs.efi in drivers64UEFI. 1.2 Adjust the config.plist for the installer You can use the config.plist attached as a guideline, but take a look at it before and at least adjust the SMBIOS - otherwise it won't boot. Attention: The attached plist contains audio patches introduced by a post-install step. If you run into problems, you might remove those. It also contains a manual slide value, which should normally not be needed, but works fine for me. It is also tuned for usage with an Nvidia Pascal dGPU as main GPU. The config you create now should serve you nicely for install and running the system. Take care of adding the following basics: SMBIOS: iMac18,3 - You can generate a serial number via Clover Configurator. The creation of a proper SMBIOS is covered in many guides to good extend Note: If you aim at using the iGPU for output, a user reported that iMac18,1 works better - since iMac18,3 produces severe flicker. I'm now also testing 18,1 Look at the graphics section and adjust the injection for Intel to your situation Fixes Patches Devices Graphics Important: Change 0x59120003 to 0x59120000 if you don't use a dGPU as your main display Driver and instead use the iGPU for output. Also note. SMBIOS iMac18,1 has been reported to work better in this configuration. But 18,3 works fine for me. Kernel and Kext patches 1.3 kexts and friends Add the supplied SSDT-UAIC.aml to "patched" - it limits the injected USB Ports to the actual number and ports valid for this board. Required kexts on "Other": FakeSMC.kext Whatevergreen.kext Lilu.kext AppleALC.kext IntelMausiEthernet.kext in case you're running Ethernet USBInjectAll.kext with the HCI-300-series-injector.kext --> These two should be installed to /L/E after install We are leaving sound out at the moment, this is something for post-install. 1.4 Check BIOS and install You should be ready for install. But before you reboot, please take a look at your BIOS and set it up accordingly (copied from the aforementioned guide and adapted): Load Optimized Defaults Disable VT-d setting If your system has Secure Boot Mode, disable it Enable CSM - This is sometimes needed to dual screens to work Set OS Type to Windows 8/10 or OtherOS - I have not seen a difference Turn off internal Serial and Parallel port Turn off Network stack for boot Turn off wake-on-lan (for now) Set XHCI Handoff to enabled Don't enable decode over 4G Depending on your GPU, set priority for boot Set internal GPU (iGPU) to enable - not auto or disabled Set DMVT pre-alloc min to 64MB and max to 128MB. For this selection to appear you might need to reboot after setting iGPU to enable Set USB legacy to enabled Activate XMP profile 1 f your Ram has it (mine doesn't and I added the timings manually) Set ERP to enable, disable platform power management (I need to do more research if this could be enabled) I've attached my current BIOS config "hack2". You can place that on a fat32 drive (the EFI partition of your install USB drive might be an idea) and see if it loads. It's made for and with the F2 BIOS. The install itself should be like other MacOS Hackintosh installs with it several reboots and ensuring to select the correct boot device in Clover. 2. Post-install 2.1 Install clover on target This is a no-brainer, but install a fresh copy of Clover on your target medium. During install select again AptioMemoryFix but also additionally EmuVariableUefi-64.efi Install RC scripts on target volume because otherwise NVRAM doesn't seem to work After the install, copy config.plist contents of "Other" content of "patched" to your new clover install. 2.2 Edit ACPI for slumber Choose one option, not both. The hot-patch is experimental, but for the moment it is stable. 2.2.1 Edit DSDT No more need for manual DSDT patching. If you still do it, you might run into unstable sleep. SSDT hot-patching + sane clover.config edits are enough This is necessary only once on initial install and every time, you edit or upgrade the BIOS. The DSDT.aml attached to this post might work for your system or give you a file to compare to. Don't expect it to work for you, though. EDIT: Since moving from F2 BIOS to F12 I did not repatch and sleep is still somewhat reliable. But to be 100% sure, you can still follow these steps. I won't go into the details of DSDT extraction and patching. There are better guides (the linked guide is a rip-off of rehabman's guide from a different forum). Please follow such a guide to extract your ACPI data. Locate and disassemble the DSDT with the newest iasl binary you can put your hands on, then open it with MacIASL in its newest version you can find (Hint: Here is a good source) You can check if the version is new enough if MacIASL doesn't throw error upon compiling a freshly extracted DSDT.aml or DSDT.dst Add rehabmans repo (as per linked guide) and apply the following patches: Rename _DSM to _XDSM Fix _WAK Arg0 v2 USB3 _PRW 0x6D Skylake (instant wake) Find the CNVW device and remove the _PWR function there. Compile the DSDT and place it in "patched". 2.2.2 Use SSDT hot-patching Instead of having to re-extract and re-patch the DSDT on every BIOS change or update, Hardware change one can also use ACPI hot-patching. It's a combination of config.plist patches and an SSDT, which is hot-patched into the ACPI (if I understand the process correctly) You need to add this SSDT-GPRW.aml to your Clover folder in the designated position at Clover/ACPI/patched You need to add this patch to your config.plist. It goes into the DSDT patch section Note: This works for me, but the patch removes the _PRW method from all devices in the DSDT. This could have side-effects. So far, I have seen none. At the moment I'm also not applying any other patch, compared with the additional edits I made to the DSDT method before. 2.3 Install kexts to system As mentioned in the install section, it's better to follow rehabman's instruction and install USBinjectAll.kext to /L/E: sudo cp -R Release/USBInjectAll.kext /Library/Extensions sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions && sudo kextcache -u / 2.4 Enable onboard Audio - Install AppleALC kext Make sure your EFI partition is mounted and that you have a vanilla AppleHDA kext available. See below for a guide how to get a vanilla AppleHDA if needed Note: Our Audio codec is ALC887 and it's running with layout ID 1. Download the newest AppleALC kext from here and install it together with lilu.kext from here into your usual /clover/kexts/others location. Done. No scripts or config.plist patches necessary. Add layout ID 1 to config.plist, if it's not there yet: <key>Audio</key> <dict> <key>Inject</key> <integer>1</integer> <key>ResetHDA</key> <true/> </dict> If you previously installed any audio patches, please follow this guide to "vanilla-ize" your install. 2.5 Optional steps for Graphics If you have a dGPU, now it's the time to install its drivers and adjust the config.plist for it. The detaisl are specific to your GPU and thus of scope of this guide. Yet, my supplied config.plist is ready to be used with Nvidia Pascal cards and using the Nvidia web driver. Whatevergreen.kext helps with Intel iGPU and NVIDIA dGPU fixes. At the moment I'm also testing out a special bootflag: 'shikigva=12' to enable faster rendering in Final Cut Pro X. Without whatevergreen.kext and a shikigva bootflag, rendering in final cut seem very slow. 2.5.1 Framebuffers If you're facing problems with output from your internal GPU, you can try the framebuffer patches listed by @BackwardMac: 2.6 Install a proper keyboard layout You might not be using a fancy Apple branded keyboard. If you use a PC keyboard, you might be annoyed by the differing layout and usage of keys. As a German, you might find yourself quitting applications, since alt gr + Q won't add an @, but quit your current application. To fix this, you can simply install a different keyboard layout. Copy it to /Library/Keyboard Layouts/ and chose the layout in System Preferences, Keyboard in the section "Other". Deleting the previously selecting layout makes sure that only this one is used. Nice little trick. A keyboard layout for German keyboards is attached and works wonders 3. Updating Updating inside 10.3.x/ 10.4.x point updates doesn't require much attention: Download the update from the AppStore as any Mac would do Allow the system to reboot Before booting MacOS with Clover, make sure to disable extra drivers for dGPUs which require non-native support. If using an Nvidia dGPU: Remove "nvda_drv=1" from your boot arguments and disable Nvidia injection If using a non natively supported AMD card, do the same for AMD (I'm not using AMD, thus I cannot be specific) Boot into the newly created Install MacOS partition Repeat this process until the Install partition is gone Boot MacOS again, still following 3., and potentially install updated drivers Your Audio might require re-patching 4. ToDo Move away from static DSDT patching to SSDT hotpatching --> requires my work Native NVRAM --> requires developer work Audio without AppleHDA patching --> requires developer work 5.   21. I have been having a pretty major issue with my new Hackintosh lately. It has been displaying broken link images in safari (See image 1). It has also had certain areas of artifacting such as the storyboard in Xcode (See image 2). and finally PDFs have been showing up completely blacked out (See image 3). This has been a big issue for me and I was wondering if any of you have had the same problem and have had any luck fixing it. I have already tried display calibration and switching to integrated graphics. Thanks in advance!   22. hi!!!! I try to install High Sierra 10.13.4 on HP Z400 (Intel Xeon W3520 CPU and Nvidia fx 3800 Graphics) but is unposible for me to boot. I create a vanilla usb and with them i boot normaly to my laptop HP DV6 2170 SV Intel I5 Nvidia Gforce Cuda but no to my desktop. The only way to install hackintosh on HP Z400 for me is with Niresh Zone Installation. When I try niresh usb on laptop does not work... So the vanilla usb is working perfect on laptop but no on desktop and Niresh usb is working perfect on Desktop by no to my laptop. My question is; is there someone to help me where is the diference and what is wrong? thank you in advance....

When I installed 10.13.4 I tried to boot macOS with iGPU enabled only in BIOS (without injecting and kexts, HD 4600) and my daily use dGPU (GTX 750 Ti, injected in config and web drivers enabled) and everything works fine, but it boots slower. There is a chance to make fully working dGPU and iGPU at one time? With kexts, injects, et cetera? Something like dGPU as eGPU and iGPU as main GPU? I don't want to break my build, so I am asking you before trying it. My computer: MOBO: Gigabyte P85-D3 GPU: Gigabyte GTX 750 Ti Windforce (2GB VRAM) CPU: i5-4670 RAM: 8GB DDR3 1600MHz Audio: ALC887 Ethernet: Realtek RTL 8111 Drives: SSD Goodram 240GB and HDD 1TB.
  24. Hi, I noticed some weird behavior with macOS High Sierra. This system was working just fine on Sierra 10.12.5, until I decided to update to High Sierra (10.13.3). The upgrade process went mostly fine I guess, but it got stuck in an infinite spinning wheel which would just keep overlapping. I went into verbose mode, and sure enough, I found "IOConsoleUsers: gIOScreenLockState 3, hs 0, bs 0, now 0, sm 0x0" repeating over and over along with ACM errors... I'm really lost right now. I can boot in recovery mode and safe mode just fine, when the graphics drivers aren't loaded. Web drivers aren't installed. I installed NvidiaGraphicsFixup, but it didn't fix the issue. I tried deleting the native graphics drivers from macOS and installing web drivers, but it didn't help. SMBIOS: iMac13,1 Graphics card: ASUS GT630-2GD3 (It's a Fermi card and it needs injection, so I modified my DSDT. Full graphics acceleration worked in Sierra. No Clover injection. I tried using Clover injection instead, I saw no difference.) CPU: Intel Core i3-3210, iGPU disabled in UEFI All kexts updated to their latest versions, along with Clover. This is a dedicated thread about the intel 8255X based ethernet cards which, although being old (but also very cheap and easy to find used online), they still works in the latest macOS releases today i tested mine with the 64 bit compiled AppleIntel8255X kext and works like a charm! stable and withou any issues with mine 100 mbit managed ethernet switch and also without suffering of problems like connection dieing under heavy load or sleep/wake issues, so just to report that i have create this dedicated thread about and also i leave the kext as an attachment, in this post, this may be usefoul to have cheap working ethernet for hackintosh machines running the latest macOS or just to reuse old hardware some one can have laying around.
