2. Longtime, I was trying to enable qe/ci on my laptop (ASUS A55A) with Intel i7 3630QM CPU and its integrated graphic card (Intel HD Graphics 4000). I've Mavericks 10.9.0 installed on it. I tried a lot of ways to enable it, no results; for example, installing kexts, adding and changing parameters in plist, etc. So, please, someone help me . DSDT.txt
3. Hello anyone reading this, I've pretty much hit a wall, I've attempted to get a working hackintosh going and I guess i'd say i'm almost there. I've gotten it installed and can boot into to it at 1920x1080 with working ethernet. no sound or qe/ci of course This is the first time i've tried to do this and to be honest i'm confused and don't know what im doing i've been at it for about 3 days now with little sleep and have gotten no where. I've used niresh 10.8.5 distro because it was the only thing i could get to boot with my haswell processor. I have a dell inspiron 23 5348. Intel Pentium Dual Core (4th generation) 4gb of ram intel hd 4600 in depth pdf of all my specs in case theres something else that someone will need to know to assist me http://content.abt.com/documents/55615/I53484444BLK_specs.pdf i've tried some of the audio choices in multibeeps (cant type the actual name for some reason) but they didnt get me any sound. as for graphics i did try using this guide here but it didnt get me qe/ci the most i could do was get my res up https://giuliomac.wordpress.com/2014/03/03/how-to-enable-intel-hd4600-natively-on-your-hackintosh/ But yeah i would really appreciate something. I don't have the slightest clue what to do and really don't want to go back to windows. even without sound and qe/ci OS X is pretty sweet and now that i've got a taste of it I don't think i can go back easily!

5. Intel HD 4600 Mobile graphics card glitches on Yosemite, but on system info it shows Intel HD Graphics 4600 1024 MB. I use this clover settings for graphics. config.plist/Graphics/Inject/Intel=true config.plist/Graphics/ig-platform-id=0x0a260006
6. Hi everybody After some years being away from the hackintosh world, I decided to come back and tried to install Yosemite on my weird chinese mini computer (mobo WTM-i5HX, Intel Celeron 1037U). Unfortunately I cannot enable AHCI. There is nothing I can do, I checked everywhere and there is no BIOS version to do that. My internal hard drive is not detected by the OSX setup, I can boot with no problem using the latest Chameleon, all my drives/partitions are seen on the boot menu, the problem is that the Disk Utility doesn't see anything but my USB stick. In the Windows device manager, I can found the hardware ID of the controller on which the disk is plugged in. It is 1c01, with the manufacturer 8086 (Intel), more information here: http://pci-ids.ucw.cz/read/PC/8086 In the original AppleAHCIPort.kext, I can see that the 1c02 and 1c03 are configured for the Intel6SeriesAHCI. I tried a ratchet insertion here by adding <string>pci8086,1c01</string> and ended up with a KP. I'm feeling close to a solution but cannot pinpoint what to do, where to insert that or how to do it. Do you have any idea? Thanks!
7. Hi, I just installed Yosemite on my Asus Zenbook UX31L using #####. I have patched my kernel using this guide: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/top...-early-reboot/ I currently need to boot using bootflag -no-pz or else it gives me kernel pannics. Now I'm looking for drivers / kexts. - My wifi card is an Intel 7260, already found out OSX doesn't support any intel nic's. - I'm trying to use a USB 3.0 Gigabit RTL8153, not finding any drivers for that either. - For my audio I couldn't find my chipset online so I'm gonna try a Linux liveboot tomorrow to find out (I'll update this post asap). - For my videocard I would like to start this guide [FIX] Intel HD4400/HD4600 Mobile on Yosemite but I need an internet connection for the codesign command... So my main problem is an internet connection and the audio, so if anybody could help me with that, it would be greatly appreciated. 8. Hi everyone, I have a P5LD2-VM Motherboard that I am wanting to update to 10.6.3 It's running a Pentium D Dual core chip with 4GB of RAM and the onboard video (intel 950) As the only other card I have is an HD4650 and from what I have seen it doesn't play nice with OS X. Ill run the specs of the rig again on the bottom of this post. Anyways I started out by having 10.5.7 installed and found out that its a little outdated. so I got my hands on iAtkos S3 and it boots fine and installs fine just when I go to boot into the newly installed system it shuts off my computer. I ran the verbose flag and the text went by way too fast for me to catch what it says a second before it turns off. I think it said CPU halted system shutting down but that could just be my brain seeing things. the options I chose from the "Customize" list were -Chameleon RC5 -32 Bit boot mode -qoopz 10.3.0 Voodoo powermanagement and p state the rest I believe were drivers for intels sata and the graphics Trying to boot into safe mode and verbose both turn off the computer and if it doesnt turn off the computer it brings it to a black blank screen. Any help would be appreciated I will get the model of CPU when I get back onto the computer. I was certain it would be a little bit more breezy of an install cause on iatkos.me is says its supported. Oh well thats why I came here. Thanks in advance.
9. Hey, just wondering if anyone could help me fix my audio? I'm running an old rig but got 10.10 to install nicely, I cant get a working audio kext though this is my build (2010) Asus p7h55-m/usb3 Nvidia GeForce GT240 Ripjaw DDR3 1600MHz ram Intel core i3 2.94GHz I used a Realtek ALC887/888b v100202 Without dsdt when I was running 10.8.5 but I cant find a way to work it now, I connect to a tv via HDMI which had audio a long time ago but after updating i cant get HDMI or external speakers to work, any help greatly appreciated guys
10. Hello everyone, I have just installed Niresh Mavericks onto my Toshiba C55T-B5109. I tried to do everything I could to get this working, but there is no written documentation anywhere about this computer, not even how to replace the ram! Anyways, I got everything working except for: 1. Intel HD Graphics 2. Wifi (fixed using dongle) 3. Sound I was wondering if there was anyway to get the Intel HD 4400 Graphics Card working. Here are my full specs: Intel Core i3 4005u Intel HD 4400 8GB ram

12. Hi there, I am new to the forums, but am extremely keen to get into running OSX on my pc. I have managed to follow enough instructions to get the OS installed but I must now face defeat as I come to you for help. I am trying/have successfully installed Snow Leopard on my Dell Inspiron 1520 albeit with difficulty. Specs: Intel Core2Duo T6600 2.2GHz 800mhz FSB 4GB DDR2 667Mhz dual channel Intel GMA x3100 80GB HDD set to AHCI (i have no spare since this is a spare computer I use to trial Linux or stuff) Now my problem is, I get a black screen on install, I believe it to be my graphics card. This happens after the first initial boot, I am unable to install kexts or even run the first time setup but I know it is running because I can hear the pop of the volume as i press the Up/Down Buttons. I tried installing different versions of OSX (Lion and some from my sisters cd's with the mac which I cannot touch not in 1000000 years) But i get a kernel panic about AHCI. The only version that actually works is IATKOS Snow Leopard. But this is what I get the black screen on. Uhmm oh yes, one time I heard "staying alive" playing with a black screen. and after 10-30 minutes of leaving the computer idle i pressed the power button thinking it had frozen but then the display started working, and I was able to get into the desktop. Silly me decided to shut down the computer. Since then, after ever install, I have had a black screen. Uhmm oh a few times I decided to hook up to my external monitor but on boot the apple logo froze. and the spinning wheel doesnt move. if i try switch back to the laptop screen, the screen bleeds from grey to white. Oh nearly forgot. I cannot install DSDT for my laptop unless theres a way to do it from i boot or before getting into the desktop which i cannot do. umm ah I have tried -x -v DSDT=No GraphicsEnabler both on and off and acpi=no? or 0 whichever one. I am really keen to get it running, Also I use chameleon bootloader but i dont install it to hard drive, when it says select disk i select disk0s2 but it says it cant find the disk. I guess the main thing id like to know is, can i install my dsdt from i boot or before the OS can initialize? I have a 1520 dsdt waiting. Thanks to all! I am willing to provide any information if needed.
13. Hi guys. I recently purchased a new Haswell machine, the Clevo W230SS (specs in signature). I installed OS X Mavericks, and after booting from my USB drive to the partition, I get a lot of screen artifacts. It's so bad that I can't see the first-time setup screen at all, but just grey and coloured lines. I'm using Chimera and I understand that its IGPlatformID=<value> is the same as Chameleon's ig-platform-id=0x<value>. I've tried all combinations of the several boot flags, and none work. What do I do?

15. Hey guys, So after a few days I managed to install OS X on my Lenovo E540 laptop with a modified kernel but I am having a few problems, mainly graphics and audio. Lets start with graphics, I had assumed it would work natively, I was wrong. I have an Intel Core i5 4200M with 4600 graphics, it started out coming up as a generic adapter with 3MB of vram then I added 'GE=Yes' and 'IGP=Yes' and it identified itself. I then added 'IntelAzulFB' and a number to my boot .plist and as I go through the numbers the ram changes (vram has changed to 7mb so I guess thats progress? ). I'm only up to 6 so I'll try the rest but I thought I'd get a head start on seeking another opinion. Now I don't have a DSDT nor do I know how to compile/patch one, if anyone could take a shot at creating one for me I'd be very grateful! I have attached my DSDT in .dsl and .aml form (DSDT.zip). I would have preferred the 4600 to work natively but if it could be injected (correct term?) into my DSDT so that it's compatible with any future updates (10.9.x) or OS's (e.g. Yosemite) then that would be great. I did move all AppleIntel* kexts to a back up folder (via Chameleon '-s') but that did nothing, I have restored them now. I am using a Realtek RTL8111.kext to get my ethernet working and Voodoo PS/2 to get my trackpad and keyboard working. Interestingly I now have to boot with '-f' to enable. Also have to specify my resolution in my boot .plist, would like that to be managed by OS (same thing I know, just a preference). Heres my boot .plist: <key>GUI</key> <string>No</string> <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1920x1080x32</string> <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>IGPEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>IntelAzulFB</key> <string>6</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>-f</string> <key>Quiet Boot</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>SMBIOS</key> <string>/Extra/SMBios.plist</string> MacBookAir6,2 (Haswell) <key>UseKernelCache</key> <string>Yes</string> Again please note that with 'IntelAzulFB 6' I am still going through the numbers. Also my audio is Conexant, don't know if that helps, Voodoo didn't work even after deleting AppleHDA. I've also got a weird icon in the status bar, no idea why its there or what it does, powering off card does nothing. Thanks for taking the time to read (or skim) over this and if you need any more info or have a suggestion, please do reply
16. Hello guys! I bought new computer parts about a month ago and since my new processor is Intel (Old one was AMD) i'm new to Intel hackintoshing. My new rig: Intel Core i7-4770K MSi Z87-G45 Gaming Kingston 2 X 4GB 1600MHz MSi Cyclone GTX 460 (I know this will work OOB in mavericks) Seagate Barracuda 1TB XFX 550W So what i want to get from this topic would be some help to prevent incoming problems, one thing that i know what will give me a headache could be that Killer E2200 ethernet driver, and yea my old build had regular bios and now i have UEFI. Is there something big difference between normal and uefi? Thanks already! -skndz

19. Hi everyone, I'm having an issue with a friend's laptop. The specs are as follows: Intel Core i7-4700MQ Motherboard: W230ST 16 GB DDR3 Intel HD 4600 integrated Nvidia GTX 765M dedicated As far as I understand, we'll be unable to to use Nvidia card, this is fine, he's okay with using integrated graphics instead. I used a typical method posted on another site (I'm sure you can guess) to create an installer USB. I have not edited it further, it has all the default kexts/boot flags. When using verbose boot, it is clear the installer will never fully load. Instead, it will hang on "[iOBluetoothHCIController][start] -- completed" From what I've read, this suggests that the issue is not related to Bluetooth, but in fact the graphics card. Apparently it is able to load the installer, but freezes when trying to use the graphics card to display the install screen. I have tried nearly every combination of boot flags, PCIRootUID, npci, -v, -f, -x, GraphicsEnabler (Yes and No), IntelAzulFB=1-15, and several others. Safe mode boot does not work (hangs in the same spot). Single user mode will work, allowing me to manipulate folders and move kexts around. Based on others' suggestions, I have removed all AppleIntelHD* and AppleIntelF* kexts. I've read countless forum posts from people with a similar issue, unfortunately to no avail. It appears as if most people are able to boot into safe mode, which I am not. I'm effectively at my wits end, I'm no newbie to hackintosh but this problem has me stumped. If anyone has any ideas as to what I could be missing, I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks very much! Joe

I need GMA x4500 driver for Mountain Lion...plz some one help me
21. My CPU is constantly running at 800 MHz max unless I restart or put it to sleep, wait until all the fans shut off, then wake it. Sometimes this does not work, and restarting does not work either, so it runs at 800 MHz which is barely usable. (HWMonitor is showing this) It should be running at minimum 1.6 GHz, up to max of 3.40 GHz (or 3.90 GHz with Turbo) I have: Asus P8Z77-V PRO Intel i7-3770 16 GB RAM (2 x 8GB) running OSX 10.9.2 with Clover v. 2636 This happens on a fresh install, I've already tried that a few times.
22. Hello Guys! I have ran into a weird situation here. My DELL 7720 SE laptop had some power problem on the motherboard (as told by the service center guys) which made my system unbootable. They replaced the motherboard. I brought it home and obviously, tried installing OSX using the Time Machine Backup. It restored correctly. Used all the same files/ config as earlier but the system couldn't boot up. It boots in safe mode, but no QE/QC. When I delete the Intel HD4000 Kexts and SNBGraphics etc kexts, the system boots up, again w/o QE/QC!!! Now, what in the world has gone wrong?? I have updated the BIOS to the latest A16. Is the new motherboard different than the earlier one? Basically, Intel HD4000 is not working....... I am trying get it work on OS X 10.9.2 I tried latest Chameleon Bootloader with DSDT=Null and tried all IntelCapriFB=1-11 EnableDualLink=Yes/No, GraphicsEnabler=Yes/No SkipNvidiaGfx=Yes.. All except one gave me Black Screen... IntelCapriFB=4 was the best one as the Intel Graphics was detected correctly with 1024Mb VRAM...but No QE/QC.. The graphics is obviously crappy without QE/QC... I checked the loaded KEXTS and found that AGPM is not loading.. FramebufferCapri and HD4000 kexts are loading with IntelCapriFB=4.... Also, clover Bootloader is not able to find my Mac volume, yes, i have the HFS related driver in CLover... tried both Vbox and HFSPlus...!!!!! So using chameleon on the USB as I have windows in UEFI mode with GPT partitioning. The older DSDT worked flawlessly (thanks to Lejenk) Somehow the same DSDT has stopped working after the swapping of motherboard..... System has Intel HD Graphics 4000 and NVIDIA GT650M in optimus.. CPU is 3rd Gen Intel Core i7 3630QM.. HDD is 1TB partitioned as GPT... with windows 8 installed in UEFI mode... Please help!

25. Hi all, So I am trying to get a hackintosh running for a friend of mine and I am running into some issues. Here is my hardware setup Gigabyte GA-H87N-WIFI LGA 1150 Intel Core i5-4430 Quad Core Haswell @ 3.0 Ghz 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600 MHz PC3-12800 240GB SSD I used the CustoMac Mini Deluxe build, the only thing I left out of the list was the video card, which was listed as optional So, I originally tried to follow tonymac's tutorial which did not get me very far. During bootup after finishing the OS install, I would get a whole screen full of distorted lines and the process would not go any further. So I decided to try another tutorial to try and get mavericks installed. The second time around, I used this tutorial for installing a vanilla OS X 10.9 http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/280756-guide-the-all-in-one-guide-to-vanilla-os-x-including-chameleon-dsdt-for-beginners-updated-for-mavericks/ This tutorial seemed to be much better, but after I do the initial install of OSX onto my SSD (btw, the only way I could get the installer to load was via the –x -f –v flag during boot) I am getting a kernel panic. I have quite a bit of experience with UNIX/Linux so I am not at all afraid of the command line, but I have to admit some of the messages that get spit out in verbose boot make it sound like your computer is just about to commit suicide in some graphic and dramatic way. Here is a screenshot of the kernel panic that I am running into (btw, this is also when I use the –x –v –f boot flags – for some reason it worked without issue the first time, but at the point of the tutorial where I am supposed to boot back into the installer and run a few things in terminal, I am not able to get back into the installer to load up the terminal application). I should mention that when I view the boot process with the –v (verbose) flag, I do see some error messages that say something about the CPU not being compatible with the system, even though this processor is listed on the site that specs out hackintosh builds. Occasionally the boot process seems to get hung up on something related to Bluetooth as well, but I do not have a picture of the output readily available. I can upload a pic when I get home from work tho (that is, if I can get it to fail in the same way).. Any idea what is going on?
