Grazie mille!
  2. PowerPC version of Mac OS X 10.1 released in 2001, running on a Hackintosh, which in fact is an ASUS X550L, this can be accomplished in any machine, but I use OS X 10.9 as my main system, and I am emulating every single version of OS X that I feel like hihihi All is done using QEMU, which when compiled from source can successfully emulate any Mac OS version that you want, any Linux, any Windows, any ARM OS heheh goood software. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2hqbYFSvKI You can also Download the Qemu 2.7-rc0 package for OSX from: http://www.open.ou.nl/hsp/downloads3/Qemu_2.7-rc0-OSX.zip More info and detailed instructions at: http://thegroovykosak.blogspot.pt/
  3. Good day, I'm trying to install OSX El Capitan on my laptop all the time. I have a laptop with a Intel CORE i5 430M Arrandale CPU and first generation Intel HD Graphics. The problem is the graphics card. I have deleted the kext for the graphics card to install El Capitan. After installing it boots also without error messages, but then comes a graphic error. The graphics error was already before I had deleted the Kext before installing. The graphics error should not come, however, if I had deleted the kext? I can install OSX successfully, but when booting comes a graphic error. I have also searched the Internet for solutions. The solutions I had found only work after a successful boot. I have tried it with other graphics kext, but without success. I also have no other computer with OSX. Best regards
  4. Hi there, I have no experience with Hackintosh, only that I have an old 2009 iMac. I recently realized that I want another Mac, however I don't really have the money and realized that it was actually just the OS I was missing, because there's not really anything to love about Apple or their hardware prices. Anyway, I have a Samsung NP350E7C laptop which I don't really use, and I'd ideally like to install macOS on there, however it's kind of confusing looking for compatible parts, and there's nothing to say that Hackintosh is compatible with the actual model of the laptop. An alternate option would be to build a new PC on the cheap, however I'd much prefer to do it on my laptop as it'd obviously cost a lot less. Would my laptop be suitable to install macOS on? I'd really appreciate any help I can get. Thanks, Seán

  6. I've got an Asus x301a with x401a signed motherboard, ivy bridge chipset and intel usb 1e31 extensible host controller. The port worked with Yosemite only with genericusbxhci kext, it didn't work natively, the system would boot but it would freeze instantly if plugging an usb3 device.
  7. Hi there! So I got a OSX install USB. I boot from it, Clover shows. In there are options to boot from Windows or the install usb. I boot from the install usb. After a minute or two of the apple logo with the spinning circle I come back to clover. I try the install USB again, it comes back to clover again. What should I try? By the way I'm following this guide: http://cloverboot.weebly.com/install-osx.html And where it shows the apple logo screen, it comes back to the clover screen after a minute or so. Thank you so much!! Intel i7 4790 Gigabyte Z97X-SLI MSI Nvidia 960 4GB 8GB Corsair RAM Windows 10
  8. Hi guys! I'm planning to upgrade my PC to new Skylake CPU - compatible mobo and memory. I've read a lot of topics and guides about Intel Skylake CPU's and MacOS installations and every guide says you should disable Intel virtualization technology for CPU (VT-d) in uEFI/BIOS settings. Every virtualization software (hypervisors) need this option enabled for this software working. And I really need this software for my job (sometimes I'm running multiple OS'es or need some software not compatible with Mac OS). So, the question is: Is it really impossible (for now) to fully run MacOS on Skylake CPUs (with all features enabled or VT-d, at least)?

  11. Hello, I installed El Capitan according to the guide at http://x220.mcdonnelltech.com on my Thinkpad x220. While the system runs mostly fine so far, I have the problem that the display exhibits a subtle but noticeable blinking/flickering. One example where this is clearly visible is the screenshot at https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f4/Twm-screenshot-20050401.png. The title bar of the xterm window (more specifically, the dotted bar right of the "xterm" label) flickers on my X220 LCD on Mac OS X. There's no flickering when displaying the same screenshot on Linux. I thought this could be somehow related to the refresh rate. I tried the "cscreen" utility (http://www.pyehouse.com/cscreen/), which shows a refresh rate of 0. When trying to change it, nothing happens (no apparent change in behaviour, cscreen still shows "0") It also seems I'm not alone with this problem. The author of the aforementioned x220 guide could reproduce the behaviour on his x220. User "janohan" at He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named seems to have a similar problem (topic "Blinking screen elements - low refresh rate?"). Any ideas what could be the cause for this behaviour? Has anybody else have a display flickering problem like that on their hackintosh? Any hints greatly appreciated I suspect this must be somehow related to the graphics driver? Is there any other component besides the graphics driver which could be responsible for this behaviour? Could this be the backlight? (in what extent does the operating system control the backlight?)
  12. Hi guys, I recently updated my Hackintosh from OS X 10.11.3 to 10.11.4 and after rebooting it came up with the prohibitory symbol. I can only boot up in safe mode and when I did that it loaded up a screen almost like I was installing El Capitan again (I think it might have been for the update?). But now I cannot boot into OS X now. I didn't think the update would have any issues for my Hackintosh because there didn't seem to be any specific hardware related fixes in the update. [EDIT] I also booted up in verbose and I get this... 13. Hey guys, Every time since I installed the HD 4400 kext to my Hackintosh, I get pixelation occurring just before the login screen comes up. Does any body know what this is? If so, what is it? Why does it do it? and How can I prevent it from happening? (Photo attachments included.) Kind Regards, Moosehead1

  15. Hello friends. Today I installed OS X Yosemite on my Dell Insprion 15 5000 laptop and of the laundry list of problems I encountered, the first one I decided to tackle was accelerating the graphics. The Intel HD 6000 is on a Brodwell CPU, which I know Yosemite supported since 10.10.3. I attempted using RehabMan's config.plist for Clover that was for the HD 6000 on his repository, but I gave me a kernel panic that had to do with AppleIntel???GraphicsFramebuffer (the kernel panic went away too quickly for me to take a photo, so I took a slo-mo video and it was fuzzy). So in RehabMan's config.plist, I disabled "Inject Intel" to get Yosemite on the machine. So my question is, how would I get the graphics to accelerate? As far as DSDT editing goes, I'd love to do it, but the lack of explanation in any guide I've seen leaves me baffled on what to do. I looked at this guide here. If someone could explain what to do (and possibly why I'm doing it) that would be greatly appreciated. If anyone needs any more detail than what I have provided, simply ask. Thanks again! 16. So, after all my tweaking and tinkering to my laptop hackintosh, I finally got a great working system (#1 in signature) I performed a generation of custom processor SSDT and it gives me the best results! My Geekbench score is over 6000 It performs better than any Macbook with the same system definitions ever could, and here is the graphics to prove it You won't see any Macbook even at the 5000, maybe the newest ones but not the 2014 ones. I am deeply in love with my Hackintosh, it has taught me so much, and it responds so well when you know how to treat him right Good hacking guys
  18. Hi guys! Finally I have deep sleep working with Clover and El Capitan, but only with hibernate mode 29.. No matter what slide values I use, I get a weird graphical artefact after wake from hibernation... Screen flickers much more than normal, at a weird refresh rate, and the brightness controls take no effect.. I am guessing this is a problem with ACPIBacklight kext.. Any way to debug the issue, any way I could fix this?
  19. Hello i start a new post, i have a problem with my USB 3.0 ports, impossible to mount USB 3.0 key/drive on USB 3.0, but USB 2.0 key/drive can mount on 3.0 ports. I try to follow this guide : http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/306777-guide-usb-fix-el-capitan-1011/ but in 2b. impossible to find XHC1 in my dsdt so impossible to finish the tutorial, but think that only for usb 3.0 INTEL ports. I listen that for some people, genericUSBXHCI.kext work under El Capitan 10.11.3 for repair USB 3.0, for me not. For my smbios i use iMac 14,2 I link my config.plist for Clover, my dsdt, my ioreg and a screen of USB preferences. So if someone can help me for fixing that USB 3.0 ports... Thank you. 20. Since my other post was vague and stopped getting responses, I will start threads based on each issue to see if that helps. So since I installed Yosemite and ran Vietnam with the Chameleon bootloader, almost everything is working except audio (i ordered a usb audio interface to get around this for now), and the biggest mystery for me is the Ethernet. Upon installation I selected the appropriate AppleIntelE1000e kext from Vietnam but my ethernet didn't work. I repaired permissions and kext cache using kext utility and then re-installed the AppleIntelE1000e kext from Vietnam. Restarted and internet worked. Shutdown my machine for the night and came back the next day to another issue with screens and desktops, and ethernet mysteriously stopped working again. I didn't think much of it and figured with all my tinkering with Model Identifiers and screen options I must have somehow messed up the Ethernet. - I repaired permissions and kext cache using kext utility and then re-installed the AppleIntelE1000e kext from Vietnam. Restarted and internet worked again. I kept my computer on for a while, Restarted a bunch of times and never had a problem. Turned off my computer again for the night, came back this morning to NO ETHERNET again. The kext is still in the S/L/E folder but nothing shows up under DPCI manager for ethernet. What could be happening here? Any info I can provide that will be helpful, lmk. Thanks Edit: I just restarted my computer while typing this and now ethernet is working again. I didn't repair or install anything, just simply restarted. Something must be happening on a shutdown overnight. Double Edit: I just confirmed this behavior by shutting down and waiting 2 minutes. Powered back up and had no ethernet. Restarted from that point and ethernet works.
  21. Hello guys, i have a Asus S400CA which has a realtek alc269 (i know this codec is pretty common and there are a lot variations of this codec) and i tried all of mirone kexts for el capitan. All of them doesn't really work. Some of which are internal speakers work but headphone jack doesn't where others is completely doesn't work at all. So i've been using voodoohda as I'm not competence in patching an applehda for my codec. The drawback of using voodoo is that whenever i plug in the headphone i have to manually switch the sound to headphone in sys pref. And hdmi audio doesn't work. So I managed to found a guide by Allan to enable hd4000 audio:http://www.hackintoshosx.com/topic/21732-guide-enable-hdmi-audio-intel-hd-4000/but the problem is that i don't know what is my ig-platform id connector in hexadecimal number? The guide doesn't have the hexadecimal number for my ig-platform-id. Im using clover boot loader and my ig-platform id is 0x01660003. Basically my hdmi is working just that no audio coming out of the tv. Thank you very much

Intel HD 3000 - VGA HELL

Hey guys, so I am having a terrible time trying to get VGA up and running on this machine. You can see my specs in my signature, but it's an HP Laptop on 10.10 with Intel HD 3000 graphics. So I've followed a couple guides... https://insanelydeepak.wordpress.com/2015/03/10/guide-vga-hdmi-intel-hd3000-gpu/ http://forum.osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/1969-guide-for-enabling-vga-and-hdmi-in-intel-hd3000-gpu/ http://www.osxlatitude.com/how-to-enable-vga-and-hdmi-on-intel-hd-3000/ They're all the same. but no matter what I do I can't seem to enable VGA output on this machine. I've got full QE/hardware acceleration, 1080p screen, HDMI working great, but I really need VGA on this thing. I'm not sure I'm doing all of the steps correctly - for instance, in the above guides it will list the VGA code and then have 'xx' where it says the 'port number for VGA' should go. What would I put there..? I've tried quite a few things, and I'll end up messing with it so much that it either boots in like 600x800 with no QE, or it doesn't show video at all. I've uploaded both my DSDT as well as my AppleIntelSNBGraphics.kext in a zip file, if possible could someone look over these to see what my deal is? I've been stuck on this one for a while now, feel like I've hit a wall here.. Archive.zip
  24. Hi guys, I'm trying to troubleshoot my new hackintosh. It's a HP 250 G2 with 4GB of RAM (Upgrading to 8 soon though), i3 2.39 ghz, Intel HD 4000. Whenever I move the mouse in Spotify, Safari or Steam there's white flickering. Google chrome also has this horrible glitch where it's just a bunch of horizontal lines (Not that I use Chrome anyway) - I'm on Mavericks. I'm looking for help trying to troubleshoot this issue - I'll have a video up soon, and I'd appreciate your help! Thanks!
  25. I have tried several times to compile my dsdt. I get only 3 errors. I was able to clear two of them but i cannot clear this no matter what. (I've googled over and over and it seems like I'm missing a } somewhere but i have tried to place it in so many different places to no success) 9254, 6126, syntax error, unexpected PARSEOP_DEVICE, expecting $end and premature End-Of-File I need to be able to patch for graphics (to be able to remove natit.kext and enable QE/CI on intel arrandale 1st gen graphics) and i cannot get USB working at all either. If you have any patch suggestions I'm all ears as well Laptop specs: HP Pavillion DV6-2150us Intel Core i3-330M 4GB Ram Intel HD Graphics (8086:4046) HD Audio Device (8086:2804) Broadcom WiFi (14E4:4357) I've attached both my dsdt.dsl and my clover config.plist ANY help would be greatly appreciated DSDT.dsl.zip config.plist.zip
