  2. ****************************************************************************************************************************** IF YOU WANT A RAW COPY (THAT INCLUDES ACTUAL FORMATTING) OF THIS UNFINISHED GUIDE, ASK ME THROUGH PRIVATE MESSAGE, THEN MODIFY IT AND SEND IT BACK TO ME THROUGH PRIVATE MESSAGE, IT'LL BE A PLEASURE TO UPDATE IT, BUT I'M NOT ACTIVE HERE ANYMORE -- ALSO, IF YOU KNOW HOW TO HAVE THIS THREAD'S OWNERSHIP CHANGED AND WANT TO OWN IT, LET ME KNOW HOW TO PROCEED AS I DO NOT WISH TO KEEP IT FOR ME, THANKS! ****************************************************************************************************************************** Hi, I'm starting this new topic in the hope to, progessively, create a guide for a vanilla (as much as possible) OS X Installation on Z400/Z600/Z800 Workstations. I invite you to participate in the comments so that this topic becomes an easy-to-follow guide. The idea of doing this emerged from information exchanged with other members (proteinshake, MacPeet, zhangtemplar, MacUser2525, nitelava & apav) in topic titled "Fix my HP! Just a few random DSDT-edits to improve your HacMac experience." originally created by proteinshake. Main goals of this guide Explain manual procedures; Avoid "magical" utilities, but don't ignore them (they can sometimes be time/life savers); Make you become independent & aware of the inner mechanics of creating a functional Hackintosh, so that you can repeat & adapt those procedures for future hackintosh projects. *** AS THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS TOPIC, I WILL NEED SOME HELP TO GATHER ACCURATE INFORMATION *** HELP NEEDED, PLEASE READ THIS SECTION, THANKS! As I only own a Z400 Workstation, I'd need you (those who own Z600 and Z800 Workstations) to send me your lspci output. To do so, you have 2 options: Boot with a Linux LiveCD (see the Tools/Utilities/kexts or other useful links section at the bottom of this post); If you already have an OSX version installed, you'll need to install lspci (see the Tools/Utilities/kexts or other useful links section at the bottom of this post). Type the following command : lspci -nnvv >~/Desktop/lspci-nnvv_output.txt If you are using Linux, please also type this command (before creating the following, make sure you updated your BIOS to v03.57) : sudo cat /sys/firmware/acpi/tables/DSDT >~/Desktop/DSDT.aml OR: sudo cat /proc/acpi/dsdt >~/Desktop/DSDT.aml (whichever works for you) Copy those files to a USB flash drive, send them to yourself by email or whatever other method you want. Then, reply to this topic mentionning which workstation you have, and attach the file(s) created above. ALSO, if you got Clover to boot your Z400 / Z600 / Z800 Worktation, PLEASE send us your config.plist so that we can have a starting point. I'm trying to switch from Chameleon to Clover, but I'm still unable to fix a Kernel Panic I have; I will report it with a screenshot soon in the comments, maybe some of you might know why I get it. Requirements Another Mac or Hackintosh machine; 8GB+ USB flash drive; BIOS updated to latest version (v03.57, 2013-09-20 release, found HERE); This is mandatory for 2 reasons : patched DSDT files included in this guide will not work (properly) if you use a different BIOS version; that latest BIOS version fixes possible erratic behaviours with Xeon 3600 & 5600 CPU series. Z400/Z600/Z800 specific files (see Z400/Z600/Z800 specific information sections further below). BIOS setup instructions (eventually, there will be screenshots) You must set your hard drive controller to AHCI+RAID mode, else you won't be able to use your SATA devices. ... Generic instructions (for all downloads/credits, see Tools/Utilities/kexts or other useful links & All attached files sections at the bottom of this post) Get a copy of Yosemite Installer from the AppStore; Create a Yosemite boot DVD or USB (USB recommended); Partition & format the USB Flash Drive : Put your USB Flash Drive in a USB port; Open Disk Utility; Select your USB Flash Drive disk in the left pane; Click on the "Partition" tab in the right pane; Change "Partition Scheme" to 1; Click on "Options" at the bottom; Make sur you select GUID (first one) and click on OK; Give it a name, let's say Yosemite-Installer for the sake of this guide; Change "Format" to "Extended Mac OS (journaled)" (AFTER THIS STEP, YOU'LL ERASE YOUR USB Flash Drive, so make a backup first if you have important data on it!); Click on "Apply"; Create a USB Flash Drive with Yosemite Installer on it; Open Terminal; Copy/Paste the following command (make sure to verify the path names as they might differ slightly on your setup) - it will ask for your user password to elevate the command at root permission level : sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Yosemite.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/YosemiteInstaller --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Yosemite.app --nointeraction Wait until it's completed (takes about 20 minutes, depending on your setup and USB speed); Into your volume's /System/Library/Extensions folder, copy the following kernel extensions (kext) : AHCIPortInjector_v1.0.0_Micky1979.kext.zip & IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector_v1.0.0_Micky1979.kext.zip - Those extensions make OS X detect your SATA controller. You'll get the "Waiting for root device..." message if you don't install those. (Couldn't yet find official page nor original thread for those, please let me know if you found it - credits seem to go to Micky1979); FakeSMC_v6.16.1372_netkas.kext.zip - emulates Apple's SMC chip found on Apple motherboards; NullCPUPowerManagement_v1.0.0d2_tgwbd.kext.zip - prevents kernel panic of genuine Apple Power Management; (optional for the install disk, this is to get sound working) VoodooHDA_v2.87.kext.zip (autumnrain, slice2009) - The file attached here is version 2.87 with a tweaked Info.plist to fix noise & volume issues for our workstations. According to my tests, HDADisabler kext is not needed (probably because original unpatched AppleHDA won't detect our Realtek ALC262 chipset). Now, let's rebuild that target volume's kernel cache with the following command : kextcache -f -update-volume /Volumes/YosemiteInstall Create the Extra folder on your Yosemite's install disk : mkdir -p /Volumes/YosemiteInstaller/Extra Install a bootloader Chameleon ... Clover ... ... Z400 specific information Instructions ... Files BIOS v03.57 - released on 2013-09-20 (latest realease known as of 20150711) dsdt-Z400-BIOS_v03.57-untouched.dsl.zip - Grabbed using Ubuntu LiveCD (this is NOT the patched DSDT); My latest patched DSDT files (USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!) dsdt-shdw_chatdeau-20150710-27-various_fixes.zip (includes both aml & commented dsl files); org.chameleon.Boot.plist.zip (not using SSDT with that version); For those who would know how to properly patch AppleHDA, here are the needed information files : AppleHDA_patch_request_ALC262.zip; lspci -nnvv output : Z400_lspci-nnvv.txt. Known problems Unable to find a working AppleHDA patch for Realtek ALC262 (sound is working using VoodooHDA with tweaked Info.plist, see Generic instructions section above); USB Mass Storage devices are ejected upon wake (PLEASE let us know if you know who to fix this!); Impossible to boot without -f flag in Chameleon, unless ALL kexts are in /System/Library/Extensions (which is not really a problem); ... It is intended as a replacement for AppleHDA on Mac OS X with support for a wide range of audio controllers and codecs."; Kext tools : Kext Wizard (janek202) - Repairs kext permissions & rebuilds kernel caches; Bootloaders : Chameleon (ErmaC, Kabyl, Tamás Kosárszky, JrCs, etc.) - "Chameleon is a Darwin/XNU boot loader based on Apple's boot-132."; Chameleon Wizard (janek202) - "helps to install, update and download latests revs of this bootloader"; Clover Configurator (mackie100) - Helps you configure Clover Bootloader options; Clover EFI bootloader (apianti, blackosx, blusseau, dmazar, slice2009) - "EFI-based bootloader for BIOS-based computers created as a replacement to EDK2/Duet bootloader"; Clover third-party tools - Clover FixDsdtMask Calculator (cvad) & Clover builder (cvad); Clover Utilities (blusseau, kozlek, slice2009) - "Preference pane for Clover bootloader". Audio / HDA : Apple Hardware Dumps (tea blog) - Dumps of system information from original Apple computers (ioreg, acpi, lspci, audio codec dump, etc.); HDA Wizard for Mountain Lion (janek202) - Tool that helps you patch AppleHDA (apparently works with Yosemite); it was not yet possible to use this to successfully patch AppleHDA for Z400/Z600/Z800 Realtek ALC262 chipset (using VoodooHDA for now, see attachments in the Generic instructions section). Power Management : Intel Power Gadget (Jun De Vega @ Intel) - "Intel® Power Gadget is a software-based power usage monitoring tool enabled for 2nd Generation Intel® Core™ processors or later.". [Note : This won't work with Nehalem processors. I use (and prefer) HWSensors' HWMonitor]. DSDT / SSDT / binary patching : Apple Hardware Dumps (tea blog) - Dumps of system information from original Apple computers (ioreg, acpi, lspci, audio codec dump, etc.); ACPICA iASL & Intel ACPI Tools 20150619 / github repository (ACPICA) - "The ACPI Component Architecture (ACPICA) project provides an operating system (OS)-independent reference implementation of the Advanced Configuration and Power Interface Specification (ACPI)."; HexPatcher (EvOSX86) - Universal / generic hex patcher for any kind of Mac OS X binary; MaciASL (phpdev32) - "A native AML compiler and IDE for OS X, with syntax coloring, tree navigation, automated patching, online patch file repositories, and iASL binary updates."; ssdtPRGen.sh Beta (Piker-Alpha) - "Script to generate a SSDT for Power Management". 11. If you have a working Brightness Slider and you might be using Brightness slider or manual hotkeys to control brightness then this guide may help you to use your Native hotkeys of laptop. (All the Credits goes to @RehabMan For OS-X-ACPI-Debug Kext and DSDT Patches.) This step assumes that you are using RehabMan's VoodooPS2Controller Install the kext: https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-ACPI-Debug Open MaciASL and click on patch.(Add rehab man repo) Apply "Add DSDT Debug Methods" and "Instrument EC Queries" that are under Brightness Fix. Save the DSDT and restart Look in Syslog as you press the key corresponding to brightness to determine which _QXX methods handle the keys (UPDATE: From Sierra Apple changed logging process. So you won't find ACPIdebug result using syslog command. Instead use following command ) log show --last 5 | grep ACPIDebug 6. Then patch DSDT: into method label _Q1D replace_content begin // Brightness Down\n Notify(\_SB.PCI0.LPCB.PS2M, 0x0205)\n Notify(\_SB.PCI0.LPCB.PS2M, 0x0285)\n end; into method label _Q1C replace_content begin // Brightness Up\n Notify(\_SB.PCI0.LPCB.PS2M, 0x0206)\n Notify(\_SB.PCI0.LPCB.PS2M, 0x0286)\n end; Change the variable _Q1D/_Q1C as per the log. 7. Try compiling and check if it generates errors 8. If it does, then change the PS2M to PS2X according to the one found in your DSDT 9. Save and place the compiled DSDT. 10. Now you should see that you have your corresponding keys to change your brightness FOR more detail and Queries,Check Out original Post of @RehabMan Here; http://www.insanelym...18#entry1997112 Get Latest Version of OS-X-ACPI-Debug kext here: https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/os-x-acpi-debug/downloads

    HP Pavillion 15

Good morning everyone. I have a HP Pavillion with the following specs I have managed to install MOjave on it, using Rehabman's config for Intel HD5500. But I need some help with a DSDT for it. Would anyone be kind enough to have a look at the zip file, which contains the EFI folder, a IOREG, and some screenshots from DPCI Manager, and help me with a good DSDT patched and a correct config.plist for it? 13. No OS X. Se usa Chameleon, digite essa flag antes do boot: DSDT=null Pode usar esse comando no Terminal: perl -e 'open(CMD, "ioreg -lw0 \| grep DSDT|") or die; while(<CMD>) { chomp; if($_ =~ /\"DSDT\.?\d?\"=<([^>]*)>/) { $buff = $1; open(PIP, "|xxd -r -p > dsdt.aml") or die; print PIP "$1"; } }' Ou usar o app DSDT Editor, um app leve e facil de usar. O bootloader carrega a DSDT do sistema a partir do primeiro inicio. No MaciASL no icone Compile. Corrigir erros/warnings. 1 - Warning ResourceTag larger than Field (Tag: 64 bits, Field: 32 bits) Mude disso: CreateDWordField (BUF0, \_SB.PCI0._Y0F._LEN, MSLN) Para: CreateQWordField (BUF0, \_SB.PCI0._Y0F._LEN, MSLN) 2 - Warning Result is not used, possible operator timeout will be missed De Acquire (MUT0, 0x0FFF) Para Acquire (MUT0, 0xFFFF) 3 - Warning Not all control paths return a value (_HID) Warning Reserved method must return a value (Integer/String required for _HID) De: Method (_HID, 0, NotSerialized) { If (TCMF) {} Else { Return (0x310CD041) } } Para: Method (_HID, 0, NotSerialized) { If (TCMF) { Return (Zero) } Else { Return (0x310CD041) } } 4 - Error Object is not accessible from this scope (_T_0) Exclua o ultimo “_” (Ex: _T_0 para T_0) 5 - Error Object does not exist (_VPC) Exclua todos os “_” (Ex: Store (Local0, _VPC) Return (_VPC) Para Store (Local0, VPC) Return (VPC) Seção 5 Patchs Talvez se assustou um pouco com a maneira que deve ser corrigido os warnings/erros, mas para facilitar o trabalho, existem varios patchs que fazem o trabalho pra você. 16. Hello, I'm working on a re-install of OSX on a dell inspiron 9400. I was finally able to get a copy of SL on it. But it still needs MUCH work, as the graphics (NVIDIA Geforce Go 7800) isn't properly recognized -- either by model, or installed VRAM. It has 512Mb, but only initializes 256Mb VESA. Anyway, as a start, I thought it best to use a valid dsdt.dsl for compilation, and start there. 17. ASUS N550JV I'd been working on this computer since of the beginning of 2014 and I can say that OS X is pretty stable on it with El Capitan 10.11.4 [EDIT] Some news about Sierra Well... In June 2017 I finally cross the line and I bought the MacBook Pro 14,3 dropping my N550JV, that's why I'm not gonna help you with Sierra. However, since Apple hardware seems to be buggy sometimes (or bad luck ?), my MacBook Pro motherboard died after only 3 months. Not so good for a 3000€ laptop... Student, but also freelance web developper, I need my (working) laptop everyday. But Apple seems to considerate that paying a product 3000€ is not enough to get a free replacement device ASAP when a failure happens. The warranty will take the motherboard replacement fees, but my MacBook won't be available during 6 or 7 days : what a loss of income ! That's why I told the vendor that I have no choice but returning to Hackintosh to be able to work. And I decided to try to boot my Time Machine backup on my N550JV. After some ajustements, it worked and I'm now running my MacBook image on the N550JV. I fixed QE/CI, touchpad and wireless, but I still miss the TouchBar... I have no time to explain the steps to make it work but you can find the clover folder I used to run 10.12.6 right here. You just have to install the updated versions of BrcmPatchRam and VoodooHDA in /S/L/E to have Bluetooth and Audio. This work is dirty but I hope it will help you to get Sierra running on the N550JV. 19. Hi. I apologize in advance if I didn't post in the right category and if my title and description aren't specific enough :c My config in a nutshell: CPU: i7 5820k GPU: MSI GTX 1060 3GB RAM: 16 GB MOBO: MSI X99 SLI PLUS I attached RunMe output with all the details of my built. Some background: I have my Hackintosh for about half a year. That time I managed to make it works and fix major issues, but some of them left unresolved since then and I ignored them until now. I use my Hackintosh for Adobe projects (PR, AE, PS, IL, AU and a lot more) - most of them connected with video editing of course browsing with Chrome and other small tasks. Problems: Random restarts - this is the biggest one. I'm starting to work on bigger and bigger projects and at this time I think I can't allow this to happen that often. In the past, they happened like once a day or a couple of times a week. However, now it's just frustrating when it happens even 5 or more times a day. I've tried to observe and find out what can be the cause but I haven't managed to find any connections. I thought it happens when Premiere or another app is using GPU, but I haven't seen increased usage when it restarts. I think that it can be connected with GPU, memory or PSU or... meh, anything else. I don't have resources to check if it'll work with other components. There should be some fix for this. I will really appreciate any help with this :c Restart instead of shutdown & sleep doesn't work. I've tried to look through some Google results for this and tried many solutions (as you can see in attached Clover folder), but I think the right one for many of these issues is to make my own DSDT. Glitches, freezes and other things while encoding a video. It happens very often when I try to do this. Maybe it is an issue with GPU or (hopefully) only with GPU drivers which can be fixed with some patch. Today my headphones stopped working. I have a multi-output device configured in the Audio MIDI Setup app which includes my headphones (HyperX Cloud via USB) and Soundflowerbed virtual audio device for capturing system audio. Today while I was trying (like 15 times) to encode a video in Media Encoder in the background and watch video on YouTube I stopped hearing anything from my system. Of course, it restarted a couple of times as always, but even this didn't solve this. If I plug them directly with mini jack (not via USB Soundcard which was in the box and which I always used) in the front IO or the back I only hear some loud noise It takes EX-Fat formatted volumes a few minutes to mount after each restart. I found a workaround to format it with NTFS since I have Tuxera installed and I will reformat these volumes when I will find time for this, but maybe there is some fix for this. GPU is a little bit hot. HW Monitor shows it is only 45-55 degrees, but for my hand is a little bit hot, idk. Also related to GPU - glitch after POST but before entering Clover boot menu. It is a black screen with little white squared glitches for a few seconds. Maybe it indicates the GPU drivers are loading, but maybe it shouldn't be like this. And if I can ask about that - I can't make all applications hide on startup. I, obviously, have "Hide" checkbox checked on every login item in settings, but it doesn't work, none of the apps is hidden in the dock. Is there a way to fix this? Also a small but annoying problem - I can't turn off permanently Mojave update notification (since I tried to install it, and I had to reverse to High Sierra because I had a black screen and I didn't have time for repairing all of them. Tags are not working in Finder - every time I tag a file or folder and make a change in it (for example save a text file) the tag disappears. So, with knowing all of that, is there a way to make a proper DSDT file for my Hackintosh? I tried to look through some guides on how to make it but I think I reached my abilities to understand how Mac OS works and what all of these things are, so I'm asking you guys politely, would someone like to help me? At least with these random restarts? :/ I really begin to think that I'm a newbie in configuring all of that Clover things - even after what I managed to do with my PC. Help me, pleease... :c If you have any questions post it below, I will really appreciate any help <3 Send me MBP-Gorec.home.zip
  20. Hello Everybody, First Hack here, and I have a fresh vanilla install with Mojave 10.14.2 closely following this vanilla installation: https://hackintosh.gitbook.io/-r-ha...p-guide/config.plist-per-hardware/coffee-lake I was surprised how well it worked initially with the above suggested settings. Only a few minor things (USB SSDT, signing the Bluetooth Kext, and switching from VritualSMC to FakeSMC) needed to be adjusted to get were I am currently. I built this machine to be a video editing/photography workstation. And so far pretty happy but would really appreciate if anyone has any knowledge or solutions with the few problems I'm still experiencing: 1) FIXED (SEE COMMENT BELOW) Sleep issues waking up from sleep (maybe due to the ASMEDIA USB controller) -FIX WAS UNRELATED TO ASMEDIA CONTROLLER BUT DUE TO PREFERENCE OF "ALLOW BLUETOOTH DEVICE TO WAKE THIS COMPUTER"/ AN EXTERNAL USB 3 to SATA Cable for Hot plugging SSD's/2.5" HDD's. With USB to SATA adapter unplugged/ Bluetooth preference changed, Mac now sleeps uninterrupted. 2) The ASMEDIA USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports ejecting after sleep 3) Am I currently using the correct setup for graphic acceleration with a connector-less ID for the UHD 630 and Radeon RX580? Specifically for optimized performance with FCPX. 4) Normal Power Consumption? I've attached my config.plist, ioreg.zip from RUNME app, SSDT-UIAC.aml (created using Rehabman Method), and my DSDT.aml (from this post for the Maximus x code courtesy of @MaLd0n ) If anyone has the time to take a look and maybe shed some light if I've done something wrong that be awesome. And for anyone looking to build a similar machine, I would highly recommend it, and feel free to use these settings. If these minor last things are addressed, this is a really solid hack. Cheers, Shark Detailed below is What is Not Working, The Build/BIOS Setup/Install Process, and What is Working. NOT WORKING: 1) Sleep: If I put the computer to sleep, or it falls asleep on it's own, it wakes up immediately after sleep. I’m getting these errors in terminal trying to figure this out using the following two commands: Command: pmset -g sleep 10 (sleep prevented by powerd, sharingd) Command: log show --style syslog | fgrep "Wake reason" localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: XHC Here are my current settings: Clover: Boot -> Darkwake=0 (tried 1 and 2 as well) Energy Saver Settings: Nothing Checked EXCEPT Put Hard disk to sleep when possible Would like Power Nap Enabled for the purpose of Time Machine, but doesn’t seem to be an option with Hackintosh? Using Terminal I have disabled the following: sudo pmset -a ttyskeepawake 0 sudo pmset -a proximitywake 0 sudo pmset -a standby 0 sudo pmset -a autopoweroff 0 2) USB 3.1 Gen 2 For the 2.0/3.0 Intel Chipset, I’ve tried both the @headkaze Intel FB-Patcher v 1.6.8 and @RehabMan instructions on creating a SSDT. The FB-Patcher did not work completely. So I continued with @RehabMan method, created a SSDT, and sacrificed 2 x usb 2.0 ports and 1 internal RGB LED header to reach my 15 port max with 3.0 speeds on all SS ports. The ASMEDIA Ports work OOB with full 3.1 speeds. However the Eject issue can only be resolved by using an App like Jettison. And using that app doesn’t solve the sleep issue, computer still wakes. I’d rather figure out why the disks keep ejecting on sleep and if fixing issue #1 would resolve issue #2 or vice versa? Do I possibly need a power management ssdt? And how would I create one for the ASMEDIA chip? I've now tried using the attached DSDT.aml in my Patched folder. I can now see it's working as my PCI devices in System Profiler are now populating (before it was stating no PCI devices). However still experiencing sleep and eject issues. Ioreg Reads for the ASMEDIA 3.1 controller as: The 3.1 controllers for the back USB gen 2 ports are controlled by: RP05@1C,4/IOPP/PXSX@0/PXSX@01000000 PRT1@01100000 (type C) (3.1 speeds) PRT2@01200000 (type A) (3.1 speeds) PRT3@01300000 (type C) (2.0 speeds) PRT4@01400000 (type A) (2.0 speeds) The 1 x 3.1 type C port on the front panel is controlled by: RP07@1C,6/IOPP/PXSX@0/PXSX@01000000 HS01@00300000 (2.0 speed) SS01@00100000 (3.1 Speed) There is also a SS02@0010000 under this controller, and as far as I can tell it does not have a function. Is there a way to disable, such as when creating an Intel Chipset SSDT? 3) FINAL CUT ISSUES/ GRAPHIC ACCELERATION: Currently it doesn’t appear that the IGPU UHD 630 is doing much in iStats. In Apple System Profile/ Activity Monitor GPU window I only see RX580, no UHD 630. Is this how it should be? Or is that what connector-less ID should look like? With FCPX there is no crashing, glitchy exports, or rendering issues, however not sure if Graphic acceleration is being used to its fullest potential. The IGPU uses 5-8% Memory/ Processor when playing/scrubbing in timeline. And only 5-10% of the IGPU Memory (no processor) is used during any render or export of footage. The RX580 is still doing most of the hard work. My Bruce X times are quick 14-18 seconds, but I’m curious as to why the IGPU isn’t doing any of the lifiting. Is this expected? I'm pretty happy with how Lightroom and Final Cut are performing, I just want to make sure I've set the hardware up correctly. 4) Power Consumption I have a general understanding of building computers, but not an expert especially with first time building a Hackintosh, overclocking, timings, voltages, etc… In HWMonitor the CPU Package Core reads blank, CPU Package Total is anywhere from 3.52w to 4.8w, the CPU Package DRAM is anywhere from 1.12 – 5.08. Is this normal, or high? My temperatures seem fine and idle between 45-57 C, And Max shortly at 85 during stress tests. So just not sure if the CPU Power Consumption HWmonitor reporting is normal or abnormal. I've attached two HWmonitor screenshots 1 normal idle cpu, one while FCP rendering. 21. Fully optimizing DSDT & SSDT for OS X Sierra POST INSTALL on a Dell345MT with a i7 - 920(first gen) I know how this forum feels about 3rd party software, but that was just a crutch, I'm 100% vanilla now which is why I'm now posting for help because I eliminated the possibility having to do with 3rd party. Anyways, with that said I just have a couple things I want to be sure of. I used a n---bistro to get a App Store copy of Sierra, as I didn't know there were other ways of getting it now from a windows10 machine. anyways, I was able to build a vanilla usb. I couldn't figure the EFI out on my vanilla Sierra-usb, but the EFI on the usb-ni---bistro I had would boot my pre-install and post-install. so I was able to install Sierra. After a few days of figuring out how to remake a EFI and config, I broke my EFI. So back to my windows10 SSD and I found BootDiskUtility, and that made a EFI usb with the newest version of clover(r4895). So then swapped SSDs back to my OS X, plugged in the BDU-usb, after trial and error I got back into my Sierra. Now with the newest version of clover and no traces of ni---bistro anymore. Then copied the BDU-usb to my SSD EFI and was able to boot without a usb again!! YAY. Then starting working on fixing my web drivers for my gtx 1050 2gb. Installed the os update so i'm at 10.12.6, pulled my hair out figuring out the web drivers, eventually got them installed and the cuda fixed. Now all 3 of my screens work, yet windows can't sit 'between' screens, I just simply haven't looked for that fix yet as I want the sys itself running like a top first. My screen saver works, I don't get stuck in screensaver, I did once before, I believe lilu.kext and whatevergreen.kext fixed that. Now with all that I felt it was time to give my config.plist a diet cos it was bloated, I generated a config copied the clover settings check for check instead of coping text cos I'm trying to shrink it. Config.plist boots my system with DSDT-1FE7B5D7 So after the above, This is now where I'm stuck a 100% correct DSDT and SSDT, from my understanding with a patched DSDT I wouldn't need any options selected in clover on the ACPI page? So with the patching part that I think I understand how to do it now, but when I extract with F4 every file has RSDT in front of it, I have one that says RSDP.aml and RSDT.aml so would I just erase the RSDT from the beginning of each file then go from their, which would then leave me with a DSDT.aml and 17 SSDTs? I know I have to decompile and patch them, but with my file names[DSDT table extract] not matching tutorials online I'm having a difficult time understanding which files I need. IS the RDST-DSDT.aml my DSDT? it is the biggest file. which ones that have SSDT in the filename is the SSDT(s) I need to patch? also how do I know if everything is patched correctly? like if my CPU is fully working and not just sorta working that way when I start running software like photoshop, unity, 10 chrome tabs, my hackintosh doesn't crash System details i7 920 (first gen) very similar to nehelam GeForce 1050 2Gb (3 monitors connected all work, one acer on HD connection, two HP s2031 on HD, using adapters to change all ports on GPU card to HD for screens) display port, HDMI, and HD 4x 1Gg + 2x 8Gb RAM running at 1066 after injecting smbios with ram info macOS sees all my ram correctly Samsung SSD 860 EVO 500Gb Thanks to anyone that can help me out, I've been working on my system for about two weeks and this is basically the wall I finally can't seem to figure out how to pass I can post another info also if it helps Boot.log DSDTdump.Log

Grazie mille!
