  1. Hello. I am trying to install 10.13.4 to Samsung 850 Evo 500 GB. I have already well working on same drive 250 GB 10.13.2. Installation starting, I see progress bar, next as usual restarting and coninuing installation. And in one minute (estimated time still did not appear) I have this error... It says: Mac OS could not be installed on your computer Unable to complete operation (if I've translated correctly). (com.apple.osinstall, error -3) I've attached original log file I've saved from there and also attaching it into the spoiler below, screen photo is under the spoiler. Have no idea what it could be, apfs.efi is latest version for 10.13.4, fakesmc is latest, other clover files and config are just the same as on working 10.13.2, clover version latest 4439 (10.13.2 loading well from this efi also). Please help, anybody know what it can be? Installer Log 04-08-18.txt
  2. Hey,guys! Is it still possible for my old 775 socket CPU to fix the hardware encoding rendering via FCP on 10.13.4?I was trying to follow this tutorial to regulate my config.plist. https://hackintosher.com/guides/fix-rendering-issues-fcpx-high-sierra/,but it seemed that it didn't work for me!So any suggestions and help will be much appreciated.Attached is the EFI folder. Grazie a tutti
  4. Hello everyone, I have an Asus gl502vmk (i7 kabylake + GTX 1060 6 gb) laptop and I tried all the patches/kexts to get the brightness with fn keys/touchpad (I2C ELAN 1200 works with VooDoo I2C kext v1.0 but no gestures/preference pane)/Keyboard backlight to work but no success so far, any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance. [EDIT] (10/04/2018) Battery status now works, thanks to @RehabMan turned out to be incorrect SMBIOS (used iMac instead of Mbp) lol, but it drains crazy fast (~1.5 - 2 hours while on standby (all apps quited!), on windows 10 it lasts 4 - 5 hours, and on linux it lasts 6 ~ 7 hours!) And with VoodooI2C v2.0.1 + VoodooI2CHID kext and patched DSDT, the touchpad is now detected in the sys pref pane but still no input. Sound works with VoodooHDA v2.9.1, but the only issue is that the jack sense isn't working (the output device doesn't auto switch to headphone when connected) [EDIT 2] (11/04/2018) The system brightness now works thanks to @onejay09 but I have no brightness slider, and there are 4 extra brightness levels (brightness stops increasing after 12 levels) and the brightness keys are not mapped correctly, plus the brightness decreases when I plug in the ac adapter, then increases if I unplug it???, the brightness level isn't also saved after reboot. battery still drains crazy fast (~1.5 - 2 hours, even with brightness at 50%, so apparently it is a power management issue). and I also have shutdowns while in sleep mode (I tried darkwake=10 and darkwake-0 and darkwake=no) P.S. I have uploaded my new report files, thanks! Latest report files (11/04/2018): https://www95.zippyshare.com/v/AMOpP0AY/file.html
  5. Note: This computer works with every version of OS X since (virtually) Snow Leopard, to High Sierra (and newer I presume, except if Apple makes drastic changes). Depending on your hardware configuration, you may need to change some settings and experiment more. My configuration: CPU: Intel Core i5 3570 3.4GHz RAM: 8GB DDR3 GPU: NVIDIA Geforce GT210 1GB (connected via HDMI) What works, what doesn't? Works: Native power management with TB, USB 3.0*, Ethernet*, parallel ports (natively)... Doesn't work: Intel HD2500. If you have i7 or another CPU with HD4000, you may get it to work. The options in BIOS are there, it's just I hadn't had any luck with the HD2500 and couldn't enable it (tried various ways). Note: I don't know if native audio works, as I own an USB audio interface and I use it without any problems. I presume you'll be able to get audio with AppleHDA patches or in last resort VoodooHDA. Let me just say that this is a relatively compatible computer. The motherboard is very good, with the exception of the PSU - you are limited to set of GPUs. Before I had the GT210, I had GTX1050 which worked wonderfully with High Sierra (latest version). But for my purposes, I needed Mavericks and hence the GPU downgrade. BIOS settings SATA mode to AHCI Disable VT-d Disable integrated GPU (if you have HD2500) Enable Execute Disable Bit Installation Guide Create an USB with DiskMakerX Install Clover on it (no special settings needed) Insert FakeSMC.kext into kexts/Other folder When booting, select all the CPU patches (including XCPM) If you have NVIDIA GT210, you'll need to disable the integrated GPU and only select 'Inject NVIDIA' in Graphics settings in Clover Viola Additional Kexts Ethernet - AppleIntelE1000e.kext USB 3.0 - GenericUSBXHCI.kext Some more screenshots:
  6. Surface Pro 2017 - macOS Sierra 10.13.2 with Graphics Acceleration Working Working: - Graphics Acceleration - using clover patch - Audio (Speakers and Headphone Jack, even microphone) - using voodoohda - Type Cover (keyboard works perfectly/ no trackpad gestures) - Brightness - using Rehabman patch Partially Working / Maybe: - Sleep/ Wake - Monitor did sleeps and wake but I'm unsure if the CPU really sleeps Not Working: - WiFi (probably never will) - workaround: USB dongle - Bluetooth - workaround: USB dongle - Camera - Touchscreen (I don't expect it to work anyways) - Trackpad gestures the EFI folder is attached below Installation - make a bootable usb using /createinstallmedia tool on a Mac - install clover onto the bootable usb we've created - while installing, the default config file from the EFI folder I provided will not work, to make it work for installation, change ig-platform-id to 0x12345678 - install macOS - boot with the EFI folder attached below - for the first boot, please change ig-platform-id to 0x12345678 and after booting successfully, rebuild kextcache by running "sudo kextcache -i /" in terminal - profit! EDIT: for some reason I can't upload my EFI folder, I'll try again later. 8. Hi guys, i'm trying to help a friend of mine trying to install osx(possibly high sierra) on his pc with the following specs: Amd fx8350 Asrock 990fx extreme 3 8gb of fury Kingston ddr3 ram(2x4) Radeon hd 7950 128gb ssd( crucial m550) A couple of hdds I don't remember the brand(maybe a seagate barracuda and a dumb old disk for data) We tried to install it using the regular clover+high showers installer but we couldn't get it to reach the installer, then we tried osx-amd(don't know if i can talk about it there, sorry if i can't) and we still couldn't get to the installer. Is there a guide i can use to install osx in that machin, i tried to search in the forum but i couldn't find it.
  10. Hello Insanelymac, I've successfully installed Mac OS X Sierra on 2 32gb flash drives with them as a JBOD Raid. I can only get into the hackintosh if I use another USB flash drive with Clover installed on it. I've tried using a clover installer however that just installs on my Raid Disk. I've also noticed that when I open clover configurator, there are 2 EFI partitions but both of them were empty. I've tried moving the contents of the EFI on my Raid disk that clover installed but my BIOS does not detect it. Also when I use the other flash drive to boot into clover, there is another volume called "BOOT OS X" right next to my Raid Disk Volume that I use to boot from. I just want to install and boot off of my Raid usb flash drives. Really running out of options, Thanks guys.

  12. Hi all guys I need your help and I hope you can help me I took the road to install High Sierra on my new build and now I have some doubt / difficulty I do not know how to solve. My configuration: 8700K Asrock Z370 Professional Gaming i7 AMD RX580 Nitro+ 8GB First I created the usb pendrive and I used Clover with the following configurations: Bootflag: dart=0 -v Kext: Bios Setting: VT-d = Disabled Share Memory = 128MB IGPU Multi-Monitor = Enabled XHCI Hand-off = Enabled SMBIOS: iMac18,3 So far no problem, it started successfully, I initialized the hdd in APFS and I ran the installation. Once finished, it started and I made the first configuration successfully. At this point I configured Clover the same way as the installation: Bootflag: dart=0 disablegfxfirmware shikigva=4 -rad4200 darkwake=8 Devices: Graphics: Kernel and Kext Patches: SMBIOS: iMac18,3 Kext: I reboot and start without problems, but I know there is some problem to solve ... for example, the video card seems to recognize it but if I run a benchmark with "Novabench" I noticed that the GPU is recognized as 1GB: With "WhateverGreen.kext" and "RadeonDeInit=Disabled": || || || I tried to delete "WhateverGreen.kext" and "RadeonDeInit=Enabled" and I recognize the card differently but the same problem presents itself: || || || Why is it recognized by 1GB instead of 8GB? While on System Profiler is recognized by 8GB .... I'm doing something wrong? I tried to enable also "Hardware Encoding & HEVC Support" but I noticed a detail that I do not know if it's right or not (Hardware Info "MacX Video Converter Pro"): Without "WhateverGreen.kext" and "RadeonDeInit=Enabled": With "WhateverGreen.kext" and "RadeonDeInit=Disabled": [COMING SOON SCREENSHOT] Is it normal that this occurs? Which one is correct? I'm going completely in confusion I'm trying to figure out if I need to make any other changes to the system, if I add some other patches to make it work properly but I do not know where to check. I'm trying to configure the DSDT but DSDT Editor and MaciASL do not work, they do not open the DSDT.aml file generated by AIDA64. Do you know how to give me a hand? I'm banging my head for 2 days I thank you in advance for the help and I apologize for my english I hope I was clear
  13. Hi, I was hoping to get similar help as this post: (as it seems like I'm faced with similar problems.) http://www.insanelym...en-not-working/ Build: Mobo: Shuttle SZ170R8 V1 - FZ170 CPU: i7-6700k Graphics: On Board Graphics - Intel HD 530 Sierra Version: 10.12.6 I can boot my computer with both screen plugged in via VGA to DP cables (VGA is on my monitor and I connect to the DP slots on my desktop. That being said, I tried using a VGA to HDMI converter and it does the exact same thing. ) I can see the apple logo and about half way, it glitches a little bit then shuts my secondary monitor totally off (but my primary monitor is fine. It boots up to login and I can use it.). I'm not sure if this is helpful to know.. But the strangest part about this is .. I think it knows there's a second monitor. I can extend my mouse and make it totally disappear to the other monitor then come back. So I'm assuming the signal isn't translated properly. Now I've been told that analogue connections don't work in Sierra but I'm just trying to stay hopeful of course. Thanks in advance! EDIT: Can't tell if I attached my iOREG file right. 14. 15. Hi there. Soo i was trying install mac at 4 days ago and finnaly today i can. I installed the Leopard and all works fin except the keyboard and ps2 mouse. And then i try a lot to put a .kext with transmac on windows xp cause im dual booting it.When i try to use Transmac i have the error"This drive is read only". Who i fix this?! This is my first question! The second i think is more hard. I have a Amilo Pro V3505 with 2gb ram and Intel GMA 945, a Intel Pentium T2130 idk the motherboard i aleardy try find the name but i couldnt with a Atheros ar5007eg wirless adapter. So i instal iAtkos S3 v2 but when i was booting(after installing) it he boots and starts make the sound of the animation video of snow leopard but THE SCREEN WAS GREY WITHOUT THE APPLE LOGO AND WITHOUT THE MOUSE JUST A GREY SCREEM. Well i try much flags but when i try GraphicsEnabler=No while the booting appears i recuve the message "you need to restart the computer" and i restart and gives again the same error. I think is some missing kext graphical but i cant add/remove kexts cause transmac give error! Thanks in advanced!
  16. Hello everyone! I'm trying to get my hackintosh running, but i haven't been able to sadly. I'm basically trying to install high sierra onto my computer which is the following specs: Intel i7 8700k Gigabyte Z370 AORUS Gaming 7 Gigabyte 1080 Ti AORUS Xtreme Edition 11GB I had high sierra installed, but i messed up the software somehow, and then i thought i could just reinstall it (since it was really easy the first time, no issues) but was i wrong. I haven't been able to reinstall it even after wiping the drive completely clean. I am running windows 10, so i will be doing a dual boot. I started following the following guide and it worked for the first time, but even after using their EFI it isn't working still: http://hackintosher.com/builds/gigabyte-z370-aorus-gaming-7-hackintosh-build-guide/ I'd appreciate any help i could get, i'm really at a loss. Thanks in advanced!
  17. Hi everyone! I'm really struggling to get my first Hackintosh up and running, and after researching this issue for ages, I cannot seem to find a solution that works for me, so I've posted in TonyMacx86 as well as here the problem that I'm having, as I am very desperate for some sort of solution. I have gotten to the point in High Sierra installation after the first reboot, to the process where the operating system is actually installed on the local HDD. Unfortunately, my installer consistently crashes at the same place, with 15 min remaining in the installation, giving the message "macOS could not be installed on your computer An error occurred installing macOS. To use Apple Diagnostics...". I have tried the following steps to fix the issue: -Re-installing/re-imaging the USB drive (going as far as to reformat the thumb drive and re-download the High Sierra app from the App store) -Attempting the installation with only one stick of RAM instead of two -Removing EmuVariableUefi-64.efi from its original location -Unplugging any external storage devices -Checking to make sure the destination disk is formatted correctly (it is) -Trying any combination of boot-flags that I could think of (no effect, except curiously safe mode crashes my installation) And, these are my specs: i7-8700k GeForce 1080 MSI Z370 SLI PLUS ASUS Xonar DGX (I imagine I'll have to disable this when I get the OS up and running...I doubt there's any way I'll be able to support a sound card) 2x8GB RAM 512GB Samsung 960 Pro NVMe SSD (windows boot drive) 4TB Seagate HDD (windows data drive) 1TB Seagate HDD (OS X destination drive) The tutorial I've been following for the installation has been a combination between this forum post: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/ And this walkthrough: http://hackintosher.com/guides/macos-high-sierra-hackintosh-install-clover-walkthrough/ (the TonyMacx86 walkthrough was giving me too many problems so I abandoned it) I got my config.plist off of this website's forums, from a person with a very similar build to my own. Any help is greatly appreciated!
  18. I was following what was exactly described in this post: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/324392-ryzen-clover-installation-guide-macos-sierra/page-1?do=findComment&comment=2442188 However, when I'm trying to boot from USB with verbose mode enabled I am stuck at the following: HID: Legacy shim 2 After a minute, a white crossed out sign appears, as if verbose mode was disabled. Any help would be appreciated My specs: Asus Prime B350M-A Ryzen 7 1700 Radeon RX560 with 16 compute units (not 14) Corsair Vengenance 16GB DDR4-3000 (running at DDR4-2800) 500GB Samsung 960 EVO NVMe SSD Monitor: LG 27UD58-B 4K display
  19. I recently got an Asus X55U laptop with the following specs: AMD Brazos C-60 1Ghz CPU 4GB DDR3 120GB HDD AMD HD 6290 Graphics. I am trying to use the Sierra 10.12.5 raw file from the Olarila forum. I understand that I need to change the kernel on the installer USB to one that supports AMD processors, but I am not sure which kernel to use or how to replace it. If anyone can help me with this I would appreciate it. Thanks. EDIT: Also when I try to use the Sierra Zone distro with the included AMD kernel, I get Error loading kernel cache (0x9) when trying to boot into the installer. EDIT 2: Nevermind this post. I just read that your CPU needs SSE4.1 to run Sierra and the C-60 only had SSE4A. I'll try an older version and make a new post if necessary.

23. Hello community, I am a 20 year old, learning many languages in Uni, HTML, CSS, SQL, Java, Latex and some PHP. I must become a bit better in all of them, since I wish to pursue my dream of earning a living doing what I most like. Out of all of them, my favourite is Java, you can do so much with it, and it is also a good gateway drug to C and C++ or so I have heard I would love some Java coders to join in this and let's try to make a dedicated download center for a lot of kexts and utilities for Hackintosh. If you don't wanna join in, any suggestion to make something else, or any advice or piece of code or 2 cents you have is welcome! God Bless https://bitbucket.org/kosakgroove/ What I really love in Java is that it is practically platform independent, this is specially useful for this day and age we live in...
