1. I have a lenovo g780 and after many problems able to install mac os mountain lion 10.8.2. Now i have graphic issues. I have screen resolution with champlist, but no acceleration. My specs: Intel Corei5 3210 8 GB Ram Intel HD4000 Graphics Atheros AR9285 Wifi Card (Changed from the dreaded BCM4313) I got this from VLC: Your Mac OpenGL acceleration is not supported on your Mac lacks Quartz Extreme acceleration, which is required for video output. It will still work, but much slower and with possibly with unexpected results. I don't know what to do. I tried many strings but it made mountain lion boot to a black screen. I Please Help.
2. Hi, folks! The title is quite self-explanatory: currently i have a G210 running. It works pretty OOB, even with the HDMI out. Audio is provided by the use of the latest VoodooHDA. This card, though, seems to be ending its lifetime, experiencing random crashes, specially with graphic-intensive games, but since some time ago, even with full screen movies and flash videos. I need a replacement for it, and i thought about the Zotac GT640, since it's newer, more powerful and fits in my board (since it's mATX, the PCI slot i use for ethernet is quite close to the one i use to my graphics, so any replacement has to take that in mind) and doesn't need that 4-or-six pin to work, drawing power from the PCI-e slot only. Unfortunately, i also use an AMD CPU with this HTPC, meaning that i cannot update to Mountain Lion without losing QE/CI because of a bug in the kernel (unless with some ATI cards, but its hit-or-miss and, given the use for this machine, this kind of uncertainty puts Mountain Lion out of question for now). Therefore, i'm in Lion, running in 32-bit kernel mode (because of the same QE/CI bug that affects Mountain Lion kernels for AMD), and i read somewhere that the drivers for Kepler are 64-bit only, so i'm out of luck. So, i need a graphics card that works OOB with 10.7.5 in 32-bit kernel mode, has a working HDMI out under OSX, and that fits in my motherboard, regarding the limits described above. I though about a GT240, which i also read elsewhere it's recommended for HTPC setups, but any alternative suggestion will be highly appreciated. Best regards!

9800GTX+ not displaying to 1080p 52" HDTV LCD

So I decided to take my bosses old Samsung 52" LCD HDTV off his hands for him and use it as a dual purpose monitor/TV. I am extremely happy.... in Windows. In OSX, I have a lot to complain about. It won't boot. I removed graphicsenabler from /extra/com.apple.boot.plist and it boots, but no accelleration. If graphicsenabler is used, it boots to a blank screen. I know it all works, as I enter my login info, and the hard drive goes crazy for a few, then stops. I have sounds and all that, but no picture. If I hook up my old 22" LCD, it boots fine. I am using an HDMI-DVI cable. (HDMI in TV, DVI to computer.) I know this cable worked for my old GT240 in my old AMD hackintosh, except I had it reversed. (HDMI in computer, DVI to monitor). I also know OSX is quite picky when its on a PC. Any of the geniuses here have any idea? I also use this for gaming in windows, and don't want to resort to my spare GT430, as I doubt the 430 has the muscle to play Batman Arkham City at this resolution. Alguém sabe onde encontrar e como instalo o kext do Intel HD graphics 3000 no Yosemite Zone (10.10.1)... Ja tentei alguns e não funcionou... a gráfica eh horrível e não consigo utilizar o Hackintosh.
6. Every time i boot my system with a Yosemite usb i get glitchy graphics on the Yosemite installer screen i use "GraphicsEnabler=No" to boot i've tried to boot without it and I get the same problem i've tried to add -x, npci=0x3000, npci=0x2000 etc and i get the same problem. I even used 2 different usb's. System: Dell Precision Intel Xeon X5355 16 GB DDR2 ECC AMD Radeon 7770
7. Hello! Did Yosemite installation on my Dell Inspiron N4050 with the Chameleon (latest version adapted) and started the system from USB stick, all correct. When you restartand perform the second boot, the system went on to present the following error(pictured below). If I delete the kexts AppleIntel *, the system performs the boot normally, but will not recognize the graphics card. Any solution to the problem?

Grappa Effect

Hey guys, i came across this a long time ago and thought i'd share it. It's a link to a page where it contains one java app, but 6 styles. It's basically a small app that you drag your cursor around at make swirls, comets, and spirals. That's about it. I've seen a couple web designs based on this and it looks pretty cool. I'd suggest you guys look at it for yourself. Here's something i made very quickly and simply: EDIT: Having difficulties uploading the sample image i created. i'll get that up soon. regardless, check out the link. MSI R9 280X Yosemite Issue

Hello. I've been Hackintoshing for about a year now, so I thought I knew my ins and outs of Hackintoshing. But that reign of self confidence has been struck down as of late. I can't seem to get my MSI R9 280X 3GB Gaming to work right with Yosemite. Spec list as follows: CPU AMDFX 8350 MOBO GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 RAM: 8GB (irrelevant) GPU: MSI R9 280X 3G Gaming... I've been running this Machine on a Mavericks distro since I got into Hackintoshing, so I thought I'd step it up and completely wipe my drive and install Yosemite. I was successfully able to boot to installer and install with custom kernel, flags and booted after install. But after booting the graphics performance is just dreadful. I tried the old kexts I used from Mavericks but only made it worse. I've ran out of ideas and Google just wasn't working for me. So I came for help here. I am stuck and in need. I've read that the 270X's have framebuffer problems I don't know if this is what that is. I'm willing to add more information to help someone out. Thanks in advance. Hope to hear back.

ML 10.8.4 AMD Radeon HD6450

Hi Guys, So I got Mountain Lion running amazingly on my Desktop. I have an AMD RAdeon HD6450 which has 1HDMI, 1DVI, 1VGA connections. I would like to use Dual Monitors with this set up. Both my monitors have DVI and VGA but no HDMI. Which would my most cost effective way to accomplish this?
11. Hello everybody, at first, sorry for my english. I am still in school and from Austria. System specs: Fujitsu-Siemens Lifebook T-Series T4220 Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 @ 2.10GHz Intel GMA965/X3100 integrated Graphics 4GB of DDR2-333MHz RAM I have installed OS X Lion 10.7.5 on my laptop. Everything works fine when I boot into OS X in 64 bit. However, if you open launchpad, you can see the lines getting drawed and if it even appears, the shattering when switching between pages is terrible. It is impossible to watch youtube videos, pages doesn't work... So you see QE/CI is disabled. When I navigated to "System information", in the section "Graphics Card" the right Vendor ID and Device ID and everything was shown, but: Kernel extension loaded: no. So I tried to load the pre-installed X3100 kext using kextutil -b in terminal. Output: sh-3.2# kextutil -b com.apple.driver.appleintelgmax3100 Warnings: Executable does not contain code for architecture: x86_64 So it was clear I had to start the machine in 32 bit mode using arch=i386 in chameleon. Apple logo lights up. Ok. Verbose shows no errors. After normal boottime screen gets black, then white and then black again. Finally it lights up, but with a grey screen, one vertical white line where the mouse seemed to be, and a few thicker black and blue vertical lines. If I move the "Mouse-Line" in the middle of the screen, where the logon button is, and click it, you can see the colors of the lines change, like if it would shade into the desktop. I've searched the web for 64 bit drivers, some needed a DSDT patch and since there is no DSDT available for my motherboad (FJNB1D4), they didn't work. However, it ended in a kernel panic every time, sometimes I wasn't even able to boot into 64 bit and had to reinstall OS X. Please help me! Thanks in advance, Kikill3r
12. Hi, I can't boot to installer gui with my 7970 Dual-X. As soon as it passes the IOBluetoothHCIController "step" it goes to a black screen, as if I had the wrong personality. I use no DSDT for the installer and set GraphicsEnabler=No. If I delete ATI*.kext then it just hangs at IOBluetoothHCIController...
13. I'm a noob here and could really use some help! Specs: 990fxa-ud3 FX 8350 GTX 650 ti BOOST EVGA 2gb ALC889 codec I've successfully installed os x 10.9.0 using Bronzovka's rc7 kernel but have run into a few problems. 1. My sound just flat out doesn't work, no devices show up in the system preferences. 2. My graphics card "works" but not properly. Minecraft (for example) gets 12 frames at most and some window animations for the desktop are jittery. Video playback fails in quicktime (youtube works though). I looked around and found dsdt's but don't fully understand them. Since I'm using AMD, I can't just download patches for my dsdt, or can I? I'm a little lost, any help will be appreciated!
14. I recently installed a GTX 960 in my system running 10.10.3. Shortly after installing the new card, I started experiencing an issue in which the system would randomly close out all running applications and drop to the login screen. This was happening several times a day, and without any discernible rhyme or reason (it happened both while running graphics intense apps as well as normal system operation). Based on my review of the logs, it looks like the WindowServer process was crashing, with numerous references to both the OS X and nVidia drivers in the crash logs. Last night I put my old GTX 650 card back in the system and uninstalled the nVidia web drivers (I was running the latest version - 346.01.02f03). I have yet to experience the issue again, leading me to believe that it was probably related to the nVidia web drivers. Has anyone else experienced the same thing? I would really like to use the GTX 960 in my system, but the sporadic logouts are definitely a deal-breaker. Any thoughts or insight would be greatly appreciated!

Posting Working Apps

This is as far as i got so far. Parallels7.0.1.5 is the same Virtualization problem Hope to see someone share how far they have gotten.
16. Hello there, a while back I tested El Capitan on an old computer, and had a pleasant first impression. So, I decided to take a spare hard drive and install EC using Clover on my main PC. The installation went fine, no problem. ##### ran fine, installed all kexts OK. I still don't have the Wi-Fi kext (TL-WN722N), apparently someone did one but I have to build it myself. I'll get to that on another moment. Now, the main issue I'm having is getting both displays to work. Unfortunately, both displays turn out to have only VGA input. So, I have an i7-4790, with Intel HD4600 integrated graphics, plus a discrete Gigabyte GTX 650. Because the discrete card only has one VGA out, I need to enable the iGPU too in order to be able to use the second port. On Windows, this works fine. Both displays get along without issues. OS X is a different story though. Only the GTX 650 works. It has full hardware acceleration so that's no longer an issue. I'm trying to get the integrated graphics to work at the same time, so I can have both displays operative just like Windows. Things I've tried: - FakePCIID - IGPlatformID - Taking out the discrete GPU. It hangs at boot. Only works in safe mode, but of course that's no use. - Setting iGPU as Primary, and here's where things get really weird. The computer boots (Apple logo with loading bar) on the HD4600's monitor, but then this display freezes and the login screen appears on the 650's screen. I attached a screenshot in which I try it with verbose mode, but mind you a normal boot is no different. It really seems like the OS just wants the NVIDIA GPU as primary regardless of my Clover settings. So, any ideas on how to get this working?
17. Okay, here goes. I know how to use the search and google. Just to get that out of the way. I have a P8P67-M Pro. The install was extremely easy, only things I needed was the essentails. (FakeSMC, Chameleon, NullIntelCPUPower, and ALC 892 rollback. (Installed from #####)). I have a 1920x1200 monitor, and the resolution works perfectly. I am using HDMI out because it wakes from sleep. DVI works as well. My ONLY problem (Really!) is QE/CI output. I have installed kexts for the 5xxx cards, enable-graphics=yes and enable-graphics=no, as well as Use_ATI_Rom yes and no. After exploring the ATI5000Controller.kext, I discovered that the card should be natively supported. It is even displayed correctly in 'system report'. (Will attatch pictures). Does anyone have a solution? tl;dr- I have a Gigabyte 5670, 1GB DDR3, HDMI or DVI out, and I have no QE/CI, yet resolution works fine. Can anyone help me??? Thanks in advance!

Missing Bluetooth Error

Hi guys! I seem to have encountered a problem with Chimera after updating Mavericks to 10.9.4. It gets stuck on Missing Bluetooth Controller (also shows "DSMOS has arrived" before that, so I think it's some sort of graphics problem). However, I can still boot into safe mode, but when I ran kextstat in terminal, the AppleIntelHDGraphics4000.kext hasn't loaded. Only Capri has. However, when I used Clover using UEFI boot, the problem fixes itself. However, I have an MBR partition (since I already have Windows 7 installed) so I cannot create an EFI sector for Clover. Instead, I currently use my USB to use the Clover boot loader. Is there a way to fix Chimera? Thanks guys. I am using Intel HD Graphics 4000 as my default graphics, with iGPU set as default with 32 MB in the UEFI.

Asus S56CM

So I have successfully installed OS X 10.8.4 on my ASUS S56CM, which is a Ivy Bridge Core i7-3517U, Nvidia GT 635M 2gb and 8gb of ram. I have ethernet working but for the life of my I can't get Audio or Graphics or Battery display. I can boot into safe mode with GraphicsEnabler=No -f -x. But if I try to get into MAC OS X I get a black screen after booting. I have tried all the nvidida Kexts i can imagine. I swear my wife is going to leave me if I don't stop. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel I just don't know how to get there. Does anyone have any suggestions or have completed on one of these Laptops. I have tried the Kexts that are used on a K56CM but must be different because it can't boot. And well Mutlibeast doesn't work either. Thanks In Advance Leigh

23. Hi insanelymac, I'm using a Dell All in one Inspiron 5348. It has a Pentium dual core G3240 Haswell clocked at 3.07 ghz in Mac. I've successfully booted and installed Mac Os X el capitan on an external hdd using a fake cpuid (0x0306E0) its ivybride. But my problem is the drivers. The only thing I could remotely do is wifi. I've installed the kexts for my wifi card. What I need is to install intel hd graphics (desktop) kexts and audio drivers (alc668) I've tried doing every method. Except for Ddst because I don't understand it whatsoever. Also found this thing called xcpm and was wondering if I can just spoof the graphics ids or something like that. Hopefully you guys can help me and thanks!
24. Alright this is driving me nuts. I'm running Yosemite with Clover on a Rampage IV Extreme. everything works like a dream except I just put a Titan X in it & it's getting really low Cinebench scores. Im getting 40.82 fps in the last test i did. this other guy with the same setup is getting 132.3 fps. (screenshots attached) Latest nVidia web driver and CUDA drivers are installed. Video output looks clean & it shows resolutions up to 1920x1200 on a 23" lcd, so it *looks like* driver is loading properly. I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong & it's driving me nuts. any ideas? Config.plist and CineBench screenshot attached. if it makes it any easier i'll paste config text below as well.
