  1. I hope i can ask in english! I wonder, why you use this kexts: AppleACHIPort.kext IOAHCIFamily.Kext IONetworkingFamily.kext I think, i got it working with the vanilla kexts. I think, all information for working ACHI can be delivered with the right information in DSDT. And to get AppleYukon2.kext loaded, you can use the LegacyAppleYukon2.kext kext or even patch your DSDT. an you tell me, what is pachted in this kexts? Of Course, for working sound you need the pachted AppleHDA.kext, for CMOS fix the pachted AppleRTC and Marvell 8001 Networking the skge.kext, however, i don't kown, what the other kext fixes. 2. AppleHDA patching in Mountain Lion

@masa and ErmaC The same here. It took an eternity to boot ML after installing the new kext. After booting, no audio device found. I really don't know why, however i'll switch back to 10.7.4 now, cause the laggy booting makes me crazy! I hope ErmaC will find a solution. I'll keep on testing :-) Tnx CutOffz
  3. AppleHDA patching in Mountain Lion

@masa In the old patched kext from 10.7.4 with old DSDT (device-id 12) the mic works with ML. However, not very vanilla, but fine with the new speech recognition! Hope ErmaC can fix the mic!
  4. AppleHDA patching in Mountain Lion

@ErmaC @masa I have a P5Q-E, too and the same problem here, only digital in in audio settings. Systeminformation shows in Audio Headphone and Line-In, however in audio settings i can't select it! I will try to use my old dsdt settings and only change the device-id to 99. Probably this will work! Tnx CutOffz

  6. AppleHDA patching in Mountain Lion

Hello! Someone here, who was able to patch the new AppleHDA.kext and get it working with AD2000B on ASUS P5Q-E? I used the same layout12.xml, Platforms.xml and info.plist files as in 10.7.4. I compressed the files using the perl script created by revogirl and replaced them inside the AppleHDA.kext. Also i used the Bin Patch on AppleHDA. I suppose the AppleHDA binary is uncompress or do i need to uncompress it with the script, too? My DSDT contains the HDEF Device and in combination with the mentioned files und bin patch it worked perfect in 10.7.4. However, i got no working with 10.8, however my old 10.7.4 AppleHDA.kext still works in 10.8. Any working solution for 10.8 AppleHDA.kext? Tnx 4 help!
  7. Tanks for your answer, but that's not the solution i searched for, because of cause my old patched AppleHDA.kext from 10.7.4 will work, too. However, that's not very vanilla and i want to use the New AppleHDA.kext. For LAN search for LegacyYukon2.kext, it will still work in ML. If you want to use the second LAN Adapter, which provides a higher bandwith on my LAN, use the skge.kext, which also still works in ML. I'm looking for some help for patching the new AppleHDA.kext. Using the files and bin patch adresses from the old patch doesn't work here, don't know why! CutOffz
