  1. G5 to ATX Front I/O Cables

Everything works now. The USB port works when I plug its header into an old USB 2.0 PCI card that I've had for years, and the headphone jack works with the method sharky311 posted (3 m-f jumpers, 1 f-f jumper). I'm guessing the FireWire 400 port also works, but I don't want to dig through my garage to find a device just to test it. Thanks for the quick response, AlohaCab.
  2. G5 to ATX Front I/O Cables

I have one of these cables for my G5 case mod (just need to straighten out the front panel jacks), and I cannot get it to work properly with my new Gigabyte Z77X-UP5 TH board. The LED and power switch work fine, but it does not give any audio to the headphone jack, and something really crazy happens when I try to plug the USB header into my board. The whole board refuses to draw any power or turn on until I unplug the whole G5 front panel cable and the ATX power cable from my PSU whenever I try to plug in the USB. Does anyone have any suggestions for this board for AlohaCab's cable?
  3. Unusual Playstation 2 mod PC Case

Gringo, I have that same exact device, and it's worked just fine on 3 different versions of OS X (Leopard, Snow Leopard and Lion) on 3 machines (2 Macs, one Hackintosh) for me. I did have trouble getting the DualShock feature working on my Playstation emulator, but I've always had trouble configuring those poorly designed wrecks that are passed off as PSX emulators (particularly on Macs). I've spent countless hours enjoying it with ZSNES, Nestopia and MAME OS X though.
  4. Since the outer "C" shell of my my G5 enclosure was in bad shape (eBay seller wasn't entirely honest), I hired a friend of InsanelyMac's own AlohaCab to re-anodize and bead blast it to give it a new, clean look. Unfortunately, the acids he's using in the process will damage the grey Apple logo on that side. Because of that, I just asked him to remove any evidence that it was there in the hope that I could later re-create that logo. I still have the logo on the removable side panel, so I'm thinking I can use that as a template for size/positioning when getting a new logo on the other side, but I'm not sure where I should look for someone that can provide this service to me. Does anyone here have any ideas where I should look in order to get a quality, perfect/near perfect (looks original when standing a couple feet away) logo applied to my enclosure? I've done as much as I possibly can by myself, but the detailed cosmetic work requires a lot of equipment and know-how that just aren't within my reach as a garage hobbyist. I've basically completed my G5 mod at this point, getting a new logo applied to that side would basically be the icing on the cake for me in this project.
