  1. Do you have your dsdt file? I'm not really sure what that's all about, but since our laptops are similar yours should probably work for mine. I'm probably going to try and tackle mountain lion again soon.
  2. Re-copied my E/E folder on the USB drive and now I'm past that. (don't know why). I'm stuck at "still waiting for root device" after a long string that includes IOResources. Googling it but not finding much.
  3. Installing on an Asus G73JH Laptop, singe drive no raid. Functional 10.7.3, minus Function keys, and sleep. I'm stuck trying to get ML 10.8 working. in 10.7.3 I had to use digital_dreamers hack installer “kext_10.7” -> Misc_Patches -> repository -> PCI_configuration_begin_hang_fix to get past the "PCI Configuration Begin". In 10.8 there dosent appear to be one... so I tried the 10.7.3 i used before, and it did get me past the "PCI Configuration Begin" but now I"m getting a Kernel Panic. Unable to find driver for this platform: \"ACPI\".\n"@/SourceCache/xnu/snu-2050.7.9/iokit/Kernel/IOPlatformEpxert.cpp:1546 Do you have anyideas where to start? I used the latest hack tool he had posted (as of yesterday) to create a usb ML jump drive. This is what I'm trying to install off. Thanks for your help.
  4. Installing on a G73JH Laptop that has a working stable 10.7.3 build. (10.7.4 works except for wifi, can't get it working). This is a non-raid, single drive config. I'm stuck trying to get ML 10.8 working. in 10.7.3 I had to use your “kext_10.7” -> Misc_Patches -> repository -> PCI_configuration_begin_hang_fix to get past the "PCI Configuration Begin". (googling didn't find anything useful) I used the latest hack tool you had posted (as of yesterday) to create a usb ML jump drive. Thanks for the help guys.
  5. I'm very new to this scene Digital_Dreamer. I just got my G73JH laptop working a week or so ago. I'm not sure what an EFI String is. So I'm going to assume I'm not using one. I honestly haven't tried to get installer working very much. But I plan to make it a project for me soon. I'll boot again and get the device IDs for you, and google efi strings some to educate my self. As far as it using only one GPU, that's fine. I will always game in widows =]
  6. Digital_Dreamer do you have any experience with getting bootloaders to boot with SLI Nvidia configurations? I have a M18X laptop with dual GTX 580m graphics cards, which can't be disabled int he bios, so it's freezing after detecting two. I'm trying to install Lion using your hackinstaller to create a usb jump drive. The boot menu appears, I click the USB device to install, and only a few lines of code appear Basically in the first 5-10 lines it detects my graphics cards and the boot loader locks up.
  7. It worked amazing for binding my mouse buttons... however, it broke the magnification on my dock, as well as "knowing" where my mouse curser was. Example if I hover over a firefox tab the "close" box doesn't appear. It's like its not sure where my mouse pointer is even though clicking works fine. Damn, this was almost a perfect solution.
  8. Glad it worked for you, digital_dreamer's hackinstaller is awesome.
  9. I have a Logitech MX518 optical mouse with 8 buttons, and the back and forward don't work, let alone the other buttons. What are you guys using to bind your mice forward/back and other keys?
  10. please help me

Why would you need to download and burn a disc if you own retail copies already? Good luck with your build.
  11. I just checked the dates, and saw it had been a few days wasn't sure if PMs were exchanged. Thanks for the info.
  12. please help me

There are a plethora of guides out there that tell you how to do it. I have 0 mac experience, never owned or used a mac as of 3 weeks ago..., I have a working OSX Lion laptop sitting in my lap as I type this. All done from a Windows PC. (well getting SL working). 1) don't ask if you can pirate SL or Lion. They costs $30 bucks. 2) you won't get help if you talk about pirating SL or Lion (notice how you got no replies once you brought up piracy) 3) Do some research and try to learn some things on your own. I did it, most everyone else here has. We don't mind helping you, but we don't want to answer questions that have been answered hundreds of times before.
  13. I would try to make a bootable USB thumb drive using digital_dreamers guide, and the lion upgrade image from the app store. Create the USB thumb drive in 10.6.7, install lion 10.7.3 on it, turn off machine, sit for a few seconds off, power up, enter the bios, set the USB stick as the 1st boot priority. update results.
  14. Asus G73JH Wifi :(

I have the working kext for the Atheros 9285 for both 10.6.7, and 10.6.8. Send me a message or reply here if you still need them.
  15. windows 7 issue with chameleon

Have you tried switching physical ports on the drive? Once your select windows and boot, the device shouldn't even know that the OSX drive is where it booted from. Try to strip it down, reinstall chipset drivers, and every other driver you can find for you g73jh, also flash the bios to 213 if you haven't yet. Easiest way is to pull out a jump drive, throw the bios file in the root, then start ez flash from the bios.
