  1. Hello. I installed my Snow Leopard OS about like 4-5 months ago. By that point, I could boot it, run it, everything worked perfect. When I yesterday tried to start it up i hadn't used it for a long while so I simply started it from my bootloader and I recieved a message for a short duration than the computer just shut down. I will include a picture of the errormessage that showed before the computer shut down and I'm sorry for the poor quality of the picture, it was taken with an iPhone.. : http://i.imgur.com/JfD04.jpg
  2. Hmm, how would I go about disabling it/turning it off?
  3. I tried the Nawcom's ModCD, although I didn't disable any sound or anything, I just simply entered the snow leopard Cd and pressed f5 and then chose the snow leopard install cd and pressed enter. Is there anything I'm missing? Here's a photo of the message:
  4. Thanks for the reply, I do not have any selections to either choose or not choose anything, is there a certain flag I should use to disable sound and VoodooHDA? Regards (
  5. Hey, just got my retail Snow Leopard 10.6.3 DVD today and of course I wanted to install it instantly! I followed this guide: http://tonymacx86.bl...ac-os-x-on.html and downloaded ###### and did everything accordingly. The problem that occured though was that the first time I started the Mac OSx DVD I got the "You need to restart your computer" message. The next time I tried to use the flag PCIRootUID=1 and that also failed aswell as the "PCIRootUID=1 -x". I read in a thread that I should try the Legacy ###### and I did, without success. I took two pictures of the errors I got with the Legacy ###### (got similar with the newest version). This is with the PCIRootUID=1 -x (I'm sorry for the {censored} quality I must have moved the camera or something) This is with only PCIRootUID=1 (I think, not quite sure) My system specs are these: CPU: Intel i7 2600k 3,4GHz GRAPHICS: ATI RADEON 4850 1024MB RAM: CORSAIR VENGEANCE 2x4GB 1886MHz MOTHERBOARD: ASRock FATAL1TY Z68 GEN3 PROFESSIONAL SSD(WIN7 SYSTEM): CORSAIR SSD FORCE3 120GB HD(MENT FOR OSX): Seagate Momentus 5400.6 ST9500325AS 500GB HD(USED IN WINDOWS 7):Probably a Seagate ST2000DL001 (9VT156) 2TB 5900 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Help is greatly appreciated! 6. How should I install my OSx86?

Thanks for your help. I have now ordered it and it should arrive withing a week. I'm just wondering. I already have Windows 7 installed and I wonder if it works to install Snow Leopard 10.6 on another hard drive and keeping the Windows 7 installation? Regards
  7. How should I install my OSx86?

Alright, well I live in a very small town in Sweden so we don't have Apple stores here. But I just ordered a retail copy (Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, is this the right one?) from their website for 45$ so hopefully that will work.
  8. How should I install my OSx86?

Hmm I'll see if I can get my hands of a OSx real cd, but I doubt it. Does anyone knows a working .iso download if I won't be able to find myself a valid osx cd or will I be screwed? I should also add that I have windows 7 already installed, although I've got a 2nd hard drive of 500gb where I made a 15gb non formatted partition.
  9. How should I install my OSx86?

Does that work? Using a retail CD on a non-mac computer? How would I proceed about installing it then? Since I want it dualboot with Windows 7.
  10. ASRock Fatal1ty Z68 Professional Gen3 SSD 120GB Corsair SATA 2.5", Force 3 Series Corsair 8GB (KIT) DDR3 VENGEANCE 1,5V CL9 RED ATI HD4850 RADEON 1024MB I've been trying for days to find the right version to install on my PC but failed. Therefore I'm turning here to find help with it. I'd really appreciate exact links to specific .isos or download that you know from experience works with the hardware I've attached. The latet try was the iPC 10.5.6 iso which froze in the installation at this part: "USBF: 0,454 Attempting to get EHCI Controller from BIOS USBF 0.454 Attempting to get EHCI Controller from BIOS USBF 0.454 USBLEGCTLSTS value c0082007 USBF 0.454 Found USBLEGSUP_ID - value 0x10001 - writing OSOwned USBF 0.566 acquireOSOwnership done - value 0x1000001 USBF 0.579 USBLETCTLSTS value c0082007 " I also tried the Hazard 10.6.6 version and the problem with this one was that first of all the Apple logo appeared and it starte loading, but after a while the no symbol (the red ring with a line diagonally through it) appeared over the apple logo and it froze there. Help is really appreciated! Regards (I'm sorry if I've posted this in the wrong category or something, I'm new to this forum and new to the hackingtosh thing)
