  1. I do agree 100% Last update was 2012 why don't you update, is it due to vmware and a possible patch in your program or something else. Would be exteremly helpful to those who have intel cpus that don't have hardware virutilzation openly available (my is locked off by the manufacturer)
  2. Compatible? Satellite L775-S7355

I have a Toshiba Satellite L775-S7355 Laptop with an Intel core i-5=2430M CPU @ 2.40GHz and 12.0 GB of Ram (2.00 GB Usable) Windows 7 Starter 1 SP1 and more details can be found attached below in a txt report from everest home edition it's called Satellite-L775-S7355Report.txt I hope to be able to install mac os x mountain lion on here yet Yosemite ran in virtual machine just fine. Looking to it in physical environment. The bare minimum Mac OS X system I can go with is Mountain Lion other wise I will give up on this hackintoshing it due to the fact that I actually have a mac book pro 1,1 and it only can do snow leopard 10.6.8 as an apple developer I would like to get Mac OS X Mountain Lion as a minimum as per allowed under Apple Developer. Please let me know if it works on Mountain Lion if it does higher iterations like Mavericks or even Yosimete let me know that below so I can choose those if those are options of my system. Thanks in advanced for the help and support. Satellite-L775-S7355Report.txt

  4. I am installing Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.3 and then upgrading to 10.6.8 I would like to know if there is any Kext for AMD Radeon HD 6310 Graphics Thanks in advance
  5. So my parents are considering getting a new computer and giving me their old computer with xp with an intel chipset and 2.8 gb of ram. I am planning on tripple booting it the first os being mac os x lion 10.7.5, second being Ubuntu, and finally third being windows 8.1 (legit) with my msdn. I would have to get a new dongle that would work. But which one is "the best" and has drivers for Mac, Ubuntu and Windows compatibility but under 30 us dollars. Any suggestions are appreciated and welcomed.
  6. I am fairly new into the Hackintosh scene but I have installed Mac OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2 on my toshiba satellite c655d-S5302 with an amd vision processor and an amd radeon hd 6310 graphics using the niresh distro. However I have niresh 10.7.3 v2 downloaded an would like to have that as a second option , yes I know how to partition install kexts but would really like to know if it is possible to dualboot two Mac OS X distros on one pc if so could you post a link to a guide or something. Thanks in advance Coast123
  7. First of all from personal experience I had the same issue you need to go to your bios when you first boot up the computer and get into your bios most computers allow you by pushing F12 key on your keyboard other computers may be del, F1, or F2. Sometimes you may have to go to the boot options and then sometimes it will say Enter Setup on the bottom. And once you get to the bios go usually to the advanced options or System and go up or down till you find where it says sata configuration and find where it says IDE or SATA and change it AhCI and also you should be able to find the boot up function you NEED to have it on SSE3 and to apply changes. Usually by pushing F10 or enter hope I helped
  8. Lion 1.7.3 and NETGEAR WG111V3

Sadly, the answer is no, I tried this on my hackintoshed laptop, I looked all over but each one said to use OS X 10.4 and tried even booting with -v -x -i386, but if your like me and are using ANY AMD motherboard, it seems to kernel panic.
  9. Realtek RTL8188CE Wireless LAN Driver?

To answer your question, sadly, NO. I have also been looking for the kext put it looks that Realtek "Did not have an appropriate agreement with apple" as realtek said on their website, in order to allow the use of the hardware on OS X pcs, however to help you out there is a tutorial here on insanelymac to use Windows only wifi usb dongle(wifi cards) on a mac os x however you do need to pay 100 plus dollars to get "VMWare Fusion" EDIT: YOU NEED BACKTRACK LINUX IN ORDER TO FOLLOW THE TUTORIAL and have a genuine copy of windows XP laying arround in order to follow the tutorial however here is the link to tutorial BTW THIS TUTORIAL WORKED FOR ME AND I HAVE WORKING INTERNET ON MY HACKINTOSH.
  10. I have a toshiba Satellite C655D-S5302 with a AMD Vision Processor with 2GB DDR3 Ramand AMD Radeon 6310 Graphics with a HDD size of 298.58 GB of Hard Disk Space. It is running mac os x lion version 10.7.3 and have no internet because I can't get the NETGEAR WG111v3 USB Adapter 54 Mbps dongle but have no kext. I have tried other kexts from other osx86 chat rooms but they had only a kext for the Mac OS X Leopard and Snow Leopard but I am running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3 I have looked for about 3 weeks now and have found some kexts that were uploaded or linked in the osx86 chatrooms but were uploaded to rapidshare which had said "File not found: this could happen because: It was an illegal file, It was removed by our Anti-Abuse Team, or the uploader may have removed the link. If you believe you got this in error contact our Support" I am an Apple developer and need a fix or a kext for this driver for Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3 asap. Thank you very much for any help given, Coast123
