I guess I will just pick up one of these SATA PCI Express cards and try booting it with my SATA drive. *Crosses Fingers*
  2. FIX FOR "Still waiting for root device" error

I checked the settings on my motherbard Asus M2n-e and there wasn't any settings to change to legacy either.
  3. Uh SATA HD's on nforce 590 sli?

Thanks for the reply Waters! I picked up an IDE hard drive. Do I still need to use the SATA drivers or can I just run with the PATA drive. IF I just use the PATA drive with I suffer any performance issues?
  4. FIX FOR "Still waiting for root device" error

What version did you use for the install? 10.4.8 AMD/Inte Final ??? I will have to try this when I get home
  5. Uh SATA HD's on nforce 590 sli?

Ok..so I am a little confused here. I can't use a IDE hard drive b/c my motherboard only has one IDE port and that is connected to my DVD burner. Is there NO driver at all that I can get to have my SATA drive work. I have two SATA drives and its really frustrating to not be able to boot them. I noticed your post about sil3132 but i'm not really sure what this is. Could you please explain? Thanks. I noticed that you mentioned that sil3132 is a drive you got from the silicon image website. Is that hard to install? will it screw up my chipset for my windows install? Also which version would work best with these specs? AMD 3800+ AM2 Asus M2n-e x1900XT 512 mb 1gig Muskin DDR2 6400 Thanks!
  6. OSX 1048 AMD FINAL

So those who had the "Still waiting for Root Device" error what did you do to fix it so you could boot natively? Right now I am running through VMWare but its pretty slow at the moment and can't change the screen resolution. I would LOVE to boot natively, anyone have any suggestions? My system Specs are: AMD 3800+ AM2 ASUS M2N-e Nfroce 550 motherboard 1 gig DDR2 6400 ATI X1900XT 512 mb 250 gig WD Hard Drive (SATA) 100 gig Maxtor Hard Drive (SATA)
  7. Has anyone been able to install or Boot OSX86 on their SATA drive with a Nforce 550 chipset? I have an Asus M2N-E socket AM2 motherboard and when I try to boot my hard drive I get a message saying "Waiting for root device" Has anyone else experienced this issue? Would I be able to use a Nforce 4 ktext to get my SATA to boot?
  8. Uh SATA HD's on nforce 590 sli?

I get the same error when I try to do a Native boot. My Motherboard is an Asus M2N-E Socket AM2 with a AMD X2 3800+ Do I have to get a ATA drive to boot this correctly?
  9. 10.4.8 Live DVD and Installer Beta Test

Just a question. I am installing Tubegirls 10.4.8 and I was wondering if these are the full OSX installs. Including most of the apps that usually come with OSX. Like garage band and iLife. If it doesn't come with it is it possible to download and install them?
