Random freeze and SATA LED on

Hi I installed Sierra. Having now stable system.. imac 12,2 1. install without boot flags.. 2. Disable TRIM (in terminal) sudo trimforce disable reboot. 3. sudo rm /System/Library/LaunchAgents/com.apple.mediaanalysisd.plist (For my motherboard) DSDT FIX: (FOR SLEEP ISSUE) Here is the fix. Dump your ACPI tables with F4 in Clover GUI. Open DSDT.aml in MaciASL (Boot with Installer USB) Find RTC device and change all it's code with this Device (RTC) { Name (_HID, EisaId ("PNP0B00")) // _HID: Hardware ID Name (_CRS, ResourceTemplate () // _CRS: Current Resource Settings { IO (Decode16, 0x0070, // Range Minimum 0x0070, // Range Maximum 0x00, // Alignment 0x02, // Length ) }) } Thats it! Wake works like a charm.

    Slow write speed

Trim is disabled and volume is HFS+ back to Sierra now..
  5. Ok just to confirm: the DSDT.aml you get from Clover (with F4) OR the DSDT.aml you get from SsdPRgen , are just BIOS readouts.. And if it makes no matter if i put this DSDT.aml in the EFI -> patched folder. ? (its the same) ?

    Slow write speed

In my Sierra installation its fine 450 Write / 510 read.
  8. Hello, I tested my SSD write speed and read speed (see attachment). In Yosemite = 450 write and 450 read... Anyone a idea?
  9. Is the DSDT generated by SsdPRGEn the same as the one generated by Clover (by pressing F4 ?)
  10. Yes, but can I need to change something in my DSDT, and can I used the generated DSDT by that tool?
  11. Hello When I use the tool SSDPrGen, it generates a lot of files in: ~/Library/ssdtPRGen/ Can I use the DSDT.aml for Clover, which is also generated or only a SSDT ?
  12. Hello foskvs , I have created a ' fresh ' DSDT with the tool SSDPrGen, I have uploaded it here; http://dev.chriskuhl.com/dsdt/ Can you please insert the fix for me again in this new DSDT ? (maybe my source DSDT was wrong last time...)
  13. Can this DSDT 'fix' cause system hangs? I can run fine for hours, but then out of the sudden apps begin not to respond, and sometimes system freezes completely with hdd led solid. (canot move mouse or anything, nothing responds.) This happens also when the system never went in Sleep mode.
