Since the developer release of OS X El Capitan enabling TRIM become possible without patching IOAHCIBlockStorage. Now you can use Trimforce utility for that. http://www.macrumors.com/2015/06/12/os-x-el-capitan-trim-support/ To activate "Trim" switch the key "Force Data Set Management" in the plist driver IOAHCIBlockStorage.kext. to "Yes". Trimforce utility copies /System/Library/Filesystems/AppleDataSetManagement.kext to /System/Library/Extensions. (rootless=0) (10.11). It also works with Yosemite. I put AppleDataSetManagement.kext in /S/L/E and Trim become enabled. I’ve inserted key in the FakeSMC.kext, made it binary and flashed bios. Now Trim always work.
