  1. I'm trying to install Yosemite on my HP XW6600 Workstation. Specs: CPU: Dual Intel Xeon E5410 @ 2.3GHz RAM: 16GB GPU: GTX 950 1GB When trying to get to the installer I got a kernel panic saying "Unable to find driver for this platform: \"ACPI"\" but I managed to bypass that by booting with "-f -v -x acpi=off" and now I get another KP saying "pmap_steal_memory" and I have no idea what's the cause of this.
  2. ATI 4670 1GB no HDMI audio

I'm running Yosemite 10.10.1. I can select HDMI as audio output but still no audio.
  3. El Capitan MBR Patch

Stuck at step 9. How do I open/access the contents of Essentials.pkg?
  4. Yosemite very laggy on my desktop

LaunchPad and Mission Control are working very smoothly. Will check HWMonitor out.
  5. Yosemite very laggy on my desktop

1)How do I check if CPU management is working? 2)I'm using InjectATI in Clover. How do I check if graphics acceleration is enabled?
  6. Yosemite very laggy on my desktop

    What's speedstep?
  7. Hello there, I've successfully installed Yosemite on my PC and everything is working fine except the system is very laggy (almost unusable) My specs are: CPU: Intel Core2Duo E7500 2.93GHZ GPU: AMD 5570 1GB Ram: 4GB M.B: Gigabyte G41-MT-S2P What could possibly be causing the problem? Or is my system just not strong enough? Should I try El Capitan or would it naturally require more power than Yosemite?
  8. Lenovo Z5070 (i7-4510U-GT840M 4GB) HP 15-p211ne (i7-5500U-GT840M 4GB)
  9. Hey there, I'm getting a new laptop to turn into a Hackintosh. Was wondering if this one is compatible with Yosemite.
  10. About ML..is there're big differences between it and Yosemite that's worth upgrading my machine? Or will ML do for now? (Is that "Sketch" web design app compatible with it for instance?)
  11. Yeah but you said that i3's integrated GPU runs Yosemite so it's basically better than the 5570 which only works with mountain lion as you mentioned.
  12. So you're basically saying that the Intel GPU integrated on the i3-530 is better than AMD 5570?
  13. Hello there, My current system is: M.B: Gigabyte G41-MT-S2P CPU: Intel Core2Duo E7500 2.93GHZ GPU: AMD 5570 1GB Ram: 4GB Kingstone DDR3 I've tried Yosemite a couple of months ago, but it was pretty laggy so I switched back to Windows. Now I wanna know if I upgrade my CPU to Intel Core i3-530 2.93GHZ and leave the rest as is, will the system run smoothly without lag? (I know the GPU is {censored}, but I don't do heavy graphics work..just some Photoshop/Illustrator every now and then and I have a PS4 for gaming so I just use my PC for internet, watching movies and anime, and work (Web Developer)) Thanks in advance.
  14. Constant lag/freeze on Yosemite.

What does the mobo have to do with system lag anyway?
