1. It's saying Chameleon revision: Unknown. Connect to Buildbot is greyed out. Could I just go to the org.chameleon section and select it? I decided to try it anyway and it did the trick for the app store! It wasn't working with iCloud at first, but then it did! Can't thank you guys enough for your help with this!
2. Thanks so far guys..I tried the changing the location of the <key>EthernetBuiltIn<key> <string>Yes</string>. It didn't knock out my graphics, but the timeout doesn't work anymore. Most importantly it didn't fix the issue so I'll move on the Chameleon Wizard. I'm looking at it now and will use of the pre-defined options iMac 12,1 - LGA 1155. This is my new smbios but it still doesn't work!! How frustrating! Anything I can try with the network settings? <key>SMbiosdate</key> <string>04/22/11</string> <key>SMbiosvendor</key> <string>Apple Inc.</string> <key>SMbiosversion</key> <string>IM121.88Z.0047.B0A.1104221555</string> <key>SMboardproduct</key> <string>Mac-942B5BF58194151B</string> <key>SMfamily</key> <string>iMac</string> <key>SMmanufacturer</key> <string>Apple Inc.</string> <key>SMproductname</key> <string>iMac12,1</string> <key>SMserial</key> <string>C02J5020DHJT</string> <key>SMsystemversion</key> <string>1.0</string>
3. I actually do have one, but maybe I need to adjust it. I'm not sure. <key>SMfamily</key> <string>iMac</string> <key>SMproductname</key> <string>iMac12,1</string> <key>SMboardproduct</key> <string>Mac-942B5BF58194151B</string> <key>SMserial</key> <string>C02FD3TXDHJF</string> <key>SMbiosversion</key> <string>######</string> </dict> </plist>
4. I'm not able to sign into the app store or iCloud because I'm getting: Your device or computer could not be verified. What I've tried so far: 1) Deleting NetworkInterfaces.plist 2) I tried adding the <key>EthernetBuiltIn<key><string>Yes</string> to the end of my boot.plist, but it didn't work and it messed up my video plus changed my start up. Here's my current plist: <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>GenerateCStates</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>GeneratePStates</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Kernel</key> <string>mach_kernel</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string></string> <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Timeout</key> <string>1</string> </dict> </plist> Should I be adding it to the end or should it be in the middle? I've also heard that using the PCIRootUID fix in ###### could help, but I haven't used it yet bc I don't want to create any additional problems. Here's the way my nic appears too: Ethernet: Type: Ethernet Hardware: Ethernet BSD Device Name: en0 IPv4 Addresses: IPv4: Addresses: Configuration Method: DHCP Interface Name: en0 Anymore tips would be greatly appreciated!!
5. I'm using a d-link dbt-120 and as everybody knows it's one of the most compatible yet my system doesn't see it. I also have a targus acb10us silver stick and that one is recognized immediately, but it won't let the system sleep, which is why I'm trying to get the d-link to work. This is so weird because I haven't found anybody with an issue. I have: Lion 10.7.2 Asus P8Z68 Deluxe Gen 3 Any tips would be appreciated!
6. keyboard/mouse lag after wake

Actually the mouse and keyboard are frozen for 55 seconds after wake. I tried a wired USB keyboard and mouse, but nothing changed.
7. I'm encountering like a 15-30 second lag after I wake my system. I've heard some others have experienced the same, but I haven't found any solutions. I'm using a Logitech wave keyboard and mouse. I've tried different usb ports including my 3.0 ports. If you guys have solved this, know of a helpful post or tips please let me know. This is really annoying. Thanks!!
8. Hey guys I'm running Lion 10.7.2 and an Asus P8Z68 Gen 3 and every time I put my machine to sleep and wake it I lose internet connectivity. The network settings show red for the ethernet connection. It comes back when I reboot the machine. I'm using the AppleIntelE1000e.kext. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
9. You were right it worked! I was just asking before about why did what you suggested work because I was using the same, but it wasn't abbreviated?
10. Thanks man! I don't understand what the difference is between this: sudo ./speedstepper /System/Library/Extensions/ AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext/Contents/MacOS/ AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement and what you posted. Aren't they the same thing other than that yours is abbreviated?
11. I'm following the guide from Lion and on. I used ###### to install and that part was a breeze, but when I get to part for speed stepper I get this: SpeedStepper v1.2 - © flAked 2011 for AICPUPM v167.0.0 - Lion 10.7.2 unable to open file, try running as root : Is a directory I'm running the file from the desktop. If anyone could please help or tell me where I'm going wrong it would be tremendously appreciated!! Thanks in advance!
12. I have a GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 system and I'm having a sleep issue. I've been researching this issue on the forums, but haven't had any success. The system won't sleep on it's own, but if I put it into sleep mode it'll sleep, but then won't wake up properly i.e. black screen and loud fans. I'm running 10.7.2 and used the ##### + ##### method so I used a custom DSDT file from tonymacx86. I have nothing plugged in via USB except a hub, which has my mouse and keyboard receiver in it. I tried a sleep enabler for my version of Lion, but it caused a bad system panic. If you have any ideas or suggestions I would greatly appreciate!! I'm so close, but I need this sleep to work. Thanks so much for your help!!! My specs:Lion 10.7.2 GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 BIOS F10 i5 2500k 3.29ghz 8GB DDR3 Corsair Vengance EVGA 275GTX 896MB 500GB HDD
13. Snow Leopard Install

I think you get halfway decent performance with those specs. Good luck!!
14. Snow Leopard Install

Thanks to your advice and despite how crazy it drove me I'm going to give the board another shot! I'm not going to spend another 72hrs banging my head against the wall though. :-)
15. Snow Leopard Install

Thanks again for your help! I decided to return the board for a refund. After looking at most of the forums out there I've found virtually no cases of anyone having this much difficulty with this series of boards. My only conclusion is that the board is defective. I have a dell hackintosh and have also installed SL on a badaxe2 and neither of those have remotely as challenging as this. I'm going back to using my badaxe2. I just have to find a workaround my marvell sata port issue.
