1. [FI] Suomalaisia?

Moro! Mulla on hackintosh asenteilla varmaan ensi viikonloppuna nykyiseen rautaan. 2. I've already figured out that my desktop unit is pretty much compatible with osx . What I'm more curious about is can os x be installed on my laptop? I've already started the precautions for an #####+Retail 10.6 osx installation on the desktop unit, buut it would be nice to get os x on the not-that-compatible laptop as well.
3. Hey! In short: - Need an os X computer for audio recording/ composing - Have 2 options: a Dell Latitude E5400 or a top-of-the-line desktop from 2008 - have a macbook with os X 10.5 in house - Need help with hardware compatibility and much more - I'm new to hackingtosh The long version: How much do I know about computers? - I've assemblied about 5 desktop PC's, installed various different windows and linux distros on both laptops and desktops, have used a macbook but never tried to install osx in a pc. Why do I wan't a hackintosh? - I play guitar and make a lot of music in house. I recently bought a Line6 POD HD500 digital amplifier which is a great interface for studio quality guitar recording at home. I tried to get it working on a Windows 7 PC, but after a lot of problems with audio interface drivers I've decided that I need an os x as a digital audio workstation. From what I hear - these types of interfaces require very little tweaking to work nicely in a mac. Where do I wan't to install it? - My first option is a 2,5year-old Dell Latitude E5400 notebook. Specs are as follows: Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 @ 2.00GHz Memory: 4096MB (2x2048) 800MHz DDR2 DUA Hard drive: 160GB SERIAL ATA (5400RPM) Wireless: Dell wireless 370 Bluetooth Wireless: Intel WiFi link 5100 (802.11 Display adapter: Mobile Intel 4 Series express Chipset Family (GMA 4500MHD) This laptop has been my guineapig for all new os’s and so far it has worked fine. I currently have a Windows 7 / Linux Mint Debian Edition dual-boot on it. From what I’ve read, the intel graphics adapter is the Achille’s heel in installing os x . However – could I still install and use an osx86 on it with low graphics? I’m more interested in making it solid for audio recording/editing. - The second option is a self-built desktop PC from 2008. Specs: Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 @ 2,66GHz Memory 4096MB (2x2048) 800MHz DDR2 Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3P Display adapter: ATI Radeon HD 4870 This is my main computer/HTPC. So, comments? Do you think I can manage the actual installation? Are my hardware compatible/sufficent for an os x?
