  1. I hear ya. Hackintosh has been a fun hobby/obsession. i would expect that the carbon should be hack-able with High Sierra following the method outlined here?
  2. correct - no need for modded bios. just replace with atheros or broadcom wifi. I had to return the T460 to my former employer. my signature lists all my Hacks - which I keep current on High Sierra/Clover. So I guess I need edit my signature to remove T460. My current employer gave me 2017 13" MBP so I have not shopped for a newer hack lately. But I miss my T460 which could dual boot macOS and Windows in a flash. My kids have Lenovo Laptops. And my 2011? T420 still runs quite well since I replaced the dim AUO LCD with a nice bright LG. My "timemachine" is hanging off the now aging mini-mac-5-hack but it still runs Plex splendidly serving as my HTPC.
  3. @bd4utonite2 - i dont see why it wouldn't work for a non-touch LCD. Note: I do not have that laptop anymore since last July. it was rock solid for me as my daily/primary laptop. I have been pushing out updates that should provide support for Sierra as well as High Sierra.
  4. Clover General discussion

    @zenith432 posted a fix like this: gEfiHashAlgorithmSha1Guid is multiply-defined in MdePkg/MdePkg.dec #if 0 EFI_GUID gEfiHashAlgorithmSha1Guid = EFI_HASH_ALGORITHM_SHA1_GUID; #endif instead of perhaps something more like this? #ifndef gEfiHashAlgorithmSha1Guid EFI_GUID gEfiHashAlgorithmSha1Guid = EFI_HASH_ALGORITHM_SHA1_GUID; #endif
  5. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

@vusun123 - no idea why there isn't a recent build on SF? I just build my own package of course! how's things with you!? @copperspeed - is your headphone stuck? i would perhaps put a headphone in and out a few times? I don't have low volume problem with my T420. what is your system - please create a profile in your signature.
  6. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

@copperspeed there are several mac supported USB Wifi adapters. For example: I have one from ASUS N-10. and there are some other by RealTek (RTL), or TP-Link etc
  7. FYI: GitHub Zip is updated for 10.13.4
  8. booting what version of macOS?
  9. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

I reposted the zip on GitHub with Clover 4424 which seems to allow the 10.13.4 installer to work from the USB now.
  10. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

i would try not injecting graphics with Clover first? did you try to increase brightness with SrcLck/Pause? i have been fooled by that.
  11. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

@copperspeedare you using the USB2 port - not the the USB3 (wont work without extra kexts)
  12. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

Well not sure. does your bios allow it? what version is your bios? what size is the usb?
  13. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

  14. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

  15. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

I posted a release on GitHub today that should fix the 10.13.4 USB installer issues. bad news is that due to me and this really lousy new site editor tool I nuked the User Guide. I put back one from like 2 years ago. but does any one have a more recent copy they can post and i will redo it. thanks.
