  1. Now I'm not sure on the secufics but your encountering the same problems I had on my windows 7 64-bit. I've given up to be honest.
  2. Well that was the conclusion I had come to. Because absolutely nothing works with me, I cannot run it in my pc win7 64-bit
  3. Which host OS are you on, because if you read previous posts, it does not work on windows 7 64-bit.
  4. Afraid not, it doesn't seem possible, I've given up sorry.
  5. i cant find a solution, ill keep looking though nothing much yet, although i did find that changing guest os from darwin10-64 to darwin11-64 causes it to list the OS as 10.7 for lion.
  6. but when i change the guest os to 32 bit i get that error like guit5412 did. it makes no sense?
  7. what would you suggest someone on win7 64-bit does then, if they would like to have mac os x in vmware? can it be done at all? with a 32-bit version/older version??
  8. if i sent you a copy of the unpatched exe on my pc could that help in figuring out what needs to be done?
  9. just a quick question... do you actually have any idea of what the problem is with win 7 64-bit or are you just looking for work arounds. dont mean to seem rude or anything just want to ask. If there is anything i can do to help, testing etc... please do ask.
  10. I have tried on vmware workstation 8.0 and 8.0.1 thanks CubeZ I'll test as soon as its up.
  11. Hey CubeZ I really appreciate your work, and im sure you have lots on your mind but changing the value of guest OS from "darwin10-64" to "darwin10" etc... does mean that the patch will work, however it stops the os from installing. Please could you try fixing the problem on win 7 64-bits. Really would be greatful! EDIT: just thought i would mention I'm having the exact same problem as guit5412. Also, there is no error message in verboose mode.
