    NVMe native support in 10.13 :)

    My PM951 Nvme is also working OOB on high Sierra, the only issue for me is that it is displayed in yellow (as external). I used to have the ssdt-nvme.aml back in Sierra to fix this problem, but if i use it again on HS it doesn't boot anymore.
  2. I feel stupid but it looks like we just need to remove : MatchOS: 10.12 or replace by 10.13 to have the same ssdt.aml work properly on High Sierra
  3. Any feedbacks from High Sierra ? Using my working files from Sierra leads to kernel panics, had to delete ssdt.aml for now.

    Creative CA0132, MacOS Sierra Driver/AppleALC

  5. Did you solve your problem with the USB-C port ? I purchased a USB-c to HDMI/USB-C/USB3 adapter and i see the following behavior: -If the port is used for display out it works without problems (even if connected after boot) -If the port is used for an external drive (e.g. USB3 hard drive) it only works if connected before boot. But i don't have any KP problems when disconnecting on Sierra -I determined that in order for the system to boot properly (without the slow progress bar at boot) i have to deselect DromOem for the SSDTs (but i have to keep xh_rvp10 dropped or there will be KP at boot caused by the USBs). Hope it helps. Yeah looks like HD530 implementation is better in windows than in OSX. Thanks though.
  6. Can anyone test the IntelHD 530 with Cinebench and let me know what score he gets ? For some reason i cannot get a higher score than 27 whereas on Windows it is in the late 40s. The Intel HD is fully recognized though.
  7. BTW, a lot of people say that they have HWP enable, but they ignore whether their power management is fully implemented. A very simple/useful way is open System Preferences -> Energy Saver to see if there's 3 options in Battery and 5 options in Power Adapter. More accurate way you need to open ioreg to search AGPM and X86PlatformPlugin, use kextstat to list all cpu/gpu relate kexts. I have 3 options in battery and 4 in Power adapter (what is the 5th option supposed to be ? Maybe depends on the hardware ) ?
  8. Insert this under your Nvidia graphics in the DSDT (or maybe an SSDT in my case) not sure if it is PEGP, GFX0 or other in your ACPI tables: Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized) // _DSM: Device-Specific Method { If (LEqual (Arg2, Zero)) { Return (Buffer (One) { 0x03 }) } Return (Package (0x0E) { "@0,connector-type", Buffer (0x04) { 0x00, 0x08, 0x00, 0x00 }, "@1,connector-type", Buffer (0x04) { 0x00, 0x08, 0x00, 0x00 }, "@2,connector-type", Buffer (0x04) { 0x00, 0x08, 0x00, 0x00 }, "@3,connector-type", Buffer (0x04) { 0x00, 0x08, 0x00, 0x00 }, "@4,connector-type", Buffer (0x04) { 0x00, 0x08, 0x00, 0x00 }, "@5,connector-type", Buffer (0x04) { 0x00, 0x08, 0x00, 0x00 }, "hda-gfx", Buffer (0x0A) { "onboard-2" } }) }
  9. Yes, working now, wrong section where i put the patch originally. Good job !
  10. I have an Alienware 15 r2 laptop (intel CPU 6820HK). X86PlatformPlugin.kext never altered, still vanilla. Attached my Clover Folder if it can be of any help. CLOVER.zip Well actually i think i found the problem, i added your patch to Kexttopatch instead of KernelToPatch. Misread your post Will try again now.
  11. Yeah just tested now. No imediate reboot without KernelPm but it hangs right after it loads OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi Only choice was to re-activate KernelPm and drop ssdt.aml to get the system to boot.
  12. Mmm i must've done something wrong here? What i did: -Acitvated HWP through clover (did not add any options for CPU other than that) -Generated the ssdt.aml with the latest Pike's script -Using MBP 13,3 Smbios. -Using the provided patch in clover (against instant reboot) - This may be the culprit (i have KernelPm activated in Clover). I guess your patch replaces this. Will try again now and report back (without KrnelPm in Clover).
  13. This method (the SSDTPrgen part) is not yet working with MBP 13,x and a skylake CPU as reported here: https://github.com/Piker-Alpha/ssdtPRGen.sh/issues/293 The HWP option by itself works but the ssdt.aml generated causes a kernel panic.
  14. I'm afraid that my config.plist has nothing to do with the Nvidia graphics. Nothing is injected or patched other than the Intel HD530 graphic files. In regards to the Nvidia, everything is done through ACPI patching. An yes, i am on 10.12.3. Are you using ACPI tables for your setup or relying solely on Clover to patch them for you ? You may try with optimus enabled, but in this case i don't think you will be able to use your Nvidia graphics, but that's worth a try. Also can you attach a picture in verbose mode before it hangs/reboots ?
  15. I also have a maxwell graphic card in my laptop (980m GTX) but no optimus in my case and graphics wise it works perfectly fine (Intel HD530 for the laptop panel and 980m GTX for HDMI out). The only issues with this configuration is: -When i inject both card i get flickers at the left corner of the screen. -HDMI audio doesn't seem to be supported for this card with the Nvidia drivers. When you say Optimus disabled what do you mean ?
