Ok, I had a working hackingtosh...hardware failure #%^ing nvidia card. well I finally got it coaxed into booting agian. however I had deleted the chameleon partition, and the chameleon partition on my usb drive. So I setup per this thread a new usb drive with chameleon 1902. when I boot that laptop with it, it will not list drives it just stops and displays "/" but I tried it on another laptop and it lists drives when it boots(command line tho). oh and once i do get this working from what i remeber to remake my boot partition(chameleon) in disk utility i would have to reinstall wouldnt i?

    oh i finially got back in, I learned how to use my install usb, and mounted the drive and move the files, but the keyboard still didnt work. So I booted it arch=i386, it started working again, then I booted back in x64 and everything is fine. The voodoohda was updated, and modified. I still dont see much difference in sound, now youtube videos have no sound at all.

    i deleted AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext now I cant log in, apparently that kext is for my keyboard. mouse works. I wonder how I am going to get back in and fix it?

  11. I have pretty well function computer now. I just want to clear up some error messages. And I would love to increase the sound volume...its a little low. here is one of the error messages I get, when running dmesg IOSurface: buffer allocation size is zero and some more. kxld[com.yourcompany.driver.AppleACPIPS2Nub]: The Mach-O file is malformed: Invalid magic number: 0xfeedface.     hmm all is correct, still not work....side note, if you do the update to 10.7.3 you will lose it, I updated and lost wifi hardware, I got an 10.7.2 io80211family.kext and fixed it

    to be fair I might have added a different 80211family kext. I dont have a N router so I cant test that. yep did that. I dont know what you mean by valid serial number, I did purchase lion. how do you check, may it doesnt validate it.

    fixed it. I don't know whether it was a fakesmc or smbios.plist that fixed it.
