  1. 1st thing 1st Go to Rampage's portal, download the haswell DMG, use the SSDT for your board follow his instructions and you be saved http://rampagedev.wordpress.com/haswell-dsdt-downloads/all-gigabyte-haswell-motherboards-dsdts-for-nvidia-and-amdati-gpus/ Donate when you are done.
  2. Culled from nVidia's website. https://developer.nvidia.com/4k-ultra-high-resolution-development I think it should answer some of your questions ResolutionsThe 4K display standard contains two resolutions: 3840*2160: This is the standard resolution supported by TVs and monitors 4096*2160: Projectors will support this slightly wider aspect ratio format Industry Support for 4KThere are 2 ways of delivering 4K content, HDMI and DisplayPort. A) HDMIThe current HDMI 1.4 standard only has bandwidth for 4K at 30hz. HDMI 2.0 will add support for 4K at 60Hz. Details should become clearer in late 2013. There are a few TVs on sale today that support 4K @ 30Hz through HDMI. DisplayPort 1.2DisplayPort can support 4K @ 60Hz using Multi-Stream Transport(MST). The graphics card provides signals for multiple displays but these are multiplexed on a single cable. Computer monitors such as the ASUS PQ321Q 31.5-in 4K 60 Hz Tiled Monitor take input using this format. NVIDIA GPU support for 4K ResolutionsAll GeForce GTX 600 and 700 series GPUs can support 4K resolutions through DisplayPort. The NVIDIA driver automatically detects 4K 60Hz tiled format, so no special user set up is required. In order to power games at this resolution with settings turned up NVIDIA recommends GTX 780 SLI or better. What consumer 4K displays available today?A variety of solutions are available today from manufactures like Asus and Sharp. Dell has also recently announced their 4K UltraSharp 32 display with availability in Q4 2013. 4K Development Tips and Tricks 1) Support 4K resolutions nativelyThe standard 4K UHD display resolution for monitors and televisions is 3840 x 2160 pixels. Projectors supporting the wider 4096 x 2160 pixels will also be available. Your game title should enumerate the available modes (using functions such as EnumDisplaySettings or GetDisplayModeList) and support native rendering to those resolutions. 2) Provide the Highest Resolution TexturesTexture content that is optimized to avoid magnification at 1080p resolution will magnify at 4K, leading to blurry textures when you get up close to surfaces. To maximize the quality at 4K screen resolution, provide the highest texel density you possibly can in your game by using the largest possible texture sizes. For example, for textures where the player can get close enough for 1:1 texel to pixel ratio, 4096 x 4096 textures will provide the highest quality. This is especially important for textures which provide detail, such as albedo textures, normal maps, and displacement maps, but can also be important for procedurally generated textures, such as light maps, which can be generated at higher resolution for display on 4K screens. 3) Enable Anisotropic Filtering4K screens will resolve additional underlying detail, so maximizing texture detail is key. Using anisotropic filtering will add detail to the image, and be even more noticeable at 4K resolutions. 4) Optimize for SLI4K UHD has four times the pixels of 1080p – which means four times the pixel workload. Scaling with SLI multi-GPU setups will be even more important to ensure the smoothest experience at 4K resolutions. Be careful to avoid the usual SLI pitfalls, such as interframe dependencies, CPU-GPU sync points, and improper use of queries. You can find the SLI developer documentation here. 5) Provide Scaling for UI ElementsResolution-dependent UI elements (bitmaps) will look smaller at 4K – which may be preferred by some game players, while others will find them too small. Providing scaling support or favoring resolution-independent UI techniques will guarantee the best experience for every gamer. 6) Perform Adaptive Tessellation Based on Screen Space MetricsTessellation is a great fit for 4K displays, as the additional detail will be even more impressive at high resolutions. To get the most of adaptive tessellation on 4K, make sure you're using adaptive techniques which take into account screen resolution when determining tessellation factor. You'll want to be using more triangles at 4K, and screen-space tessellation metrics will naturally provide this. 7) Beware of Magnification ArtifactsIn addition to magnification of source textures (see “Provide the Highest Resolution Textures” above), you will get additional magnification at 4K of fetches from other offscreen render targets, such as shadow maps. This can result in unpleasant and unexpected artifacts. It's best to test these algorithms at 4K resolution and work around these issues, such as by increasing your shadow map resolution or filter quality. 8) Optimize Video Memory Consumption4K resolution is obviously heavier on video memory consumption than lower resolutions. Four times the pixels will mean four times the memory used for screen sized buffers, in addition to any additional memory consumed by higher resolution source art (“Maximize Texture Resolution” above) or higher resolution intermediate surfaces such as shadow maps (“Beware of Magnification Artifacts” above).

  6. New Intel HD Drivers from Apple

I just read somewhere on the Internet in one of the forums, that Apple has released an updated update 10.6.3 ver1.1, which contains the updated drivers for the Intel 4500MHD. I wish someone with the right access can download and confirm this update. I have waited for sooo long about a year and half now for the real dream to come true I followed deviato's methodology and am stuck without GE/CI. could someone please get the confirmation http://deviato.wordpress.com/2010/02/24/ch...-gma-version-2/
  7. ICH8 Patch with ACPI: System State [S0 S3 S4 S5]

Well tht is a good things to do my dear, but i live down here in Ghana accra 2 be prciese and i havedownloaded all the version of ISO's of Mac OSX versions that are avaliable but i can still not get any to boot up and install the OS, i would try to get the PCIe VGA card to install, then i would try to see how it works.. regards
  8. ICH8 Patch with ACPI: System State [S0 S3 S4 S5]

Eddie, i got ur Leo4All, n tried it and it did not work, I then patched it with PPFv1 and tried it with cpus=1 and it booted till it got to waiting for boot device, same with patching with PPFv2, What i don't understand is what is really the issue here, for me i think it might have to do with AppleACPI kext, becos with this system it is purely SATA harddrive connections, there is no IDE ports on it.I have tried using external USB DVD drives to no avail. This is purely and Intel ICH8 system no foreign chipset both northbridge and southbridge are intel ICH8 chipsets device id 2820 I tried even restore a leopard installation on a USB drive to install from it, it also gets to the same place, wht can you guys do about such a problem. can it be fixed eddie my systems is a wonderful system which can nicely run MAC OS X now that 10.5.3 beta is out there. Eddie i trust u can do it for us am seeing you all around the forum helping us can u do some thing for us please. We just want the system to boot the DVD, so we can also install
  9. Driver Problems on a Dell Notebook

Dell is a whacked upcompany they have this power management thing so when u install kalaway or iatkos u would not get the screen up it it also depends on the graphic card u have installed, if it is intel u need to delext all the appl.intel* kext in the systems, library, extension folder. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...rt=#entry589546 there is a software here that would work for u it can help u fix the screen stuu and also for the screen to come for the first time leave the laptop on for about 30mins, for the laptop to sleep and then when u wake it up from sleep the screen come up .all this problems is because of some power implemetation by Dell. at the website you can get all the help u need for dell there

  14. IATKOS V1.0IR3

iATKOS 1.0ir2 Post-Update by EqUaTe These patches are designed to be appled to the iATKOS v1.0i r2 ISO. The first could be considered the unofficial r3, but I shall not refer to it as such again. iATKOS_v1.0ir2-EqUaTe1.ppf * Adds support for NForce chipsets * NForceATA * NForce SSE3 and SSE2 kernels * Installer support for NForce * Automatic installation of NForce requirements when you select either of the NForce Kernels * Fixes ALL bootloader issues exhibited by r2 * More advanced script than seen in original release and r2 * Will preserve your existing bootloader rather than overwrite it - You will no longer have to reinstall grub or the xp bootloader if you want to use them. Merely add the chainloader commands. * On a blank disk/partition table will install completely, making the disk bootable. No more blinking cursor! * Adds OPTIONAL support for PCCard/CardBus/PCMCIA * Uses customised kexts by Chun-Nan * Don't install this package unless you have a CardBus controller * Doesn't work for everyone - work is ongoing on this * Adds PCIUtils for OSX * Ported from Linux * lspci and setpci now available * update-pciids to update the PCI ID database * Automatically installed * Adds TempMonitor * Program for reporting temperature from available sensors * Type tempmonitor at the terminal * Adds package for Bad BIOS support. * Not available in installer - needs to be used on another machine * Fixes the freeze at the buffers count (10495). * Uses old ACPI and APIC kexts * Removes FireWire kexts to prevent conflicts * Don't use if you don't have to! * Installer support available in 2nd PPF. iATKOS_v1.0ir2-EqUaTe1+BadBIOS.ppf * Adds Bad BIOS support to the installer * Don't use on machines that work normally * Try it if you can't boot even with cpus=1 -v -x MD5 (iATKOS_v1.0ir2-EqUaTe1.ppf) = 87b093f82a2bdd6c96cc2fec645ff041 MD5 (iATKOS_v1.0ir2-EqUaTe1.iso) = d65285f10c625310ecc93f6ee3d928b1 MD5 (iATKOS_v1.0ir2-EqUaTe1+BadBIOS.ppf) = 078b2c2f6e491ccb2c794ea7d54e84a8 MD5 (iATKOS_v1.0ir2-EqUaTe1+BadBIOS.iso) = 0fe1fcb7495530322445957b856f3888
