  1. it won't work. Vanilla was designed for the core family architecture, and pentium D, sadly, is just before that. You will have to use a patched kernel otherwise your system will get kernel panics or endless boot screens or reboot loops. End of Story.

    I modified my kext, it worked almost, it gave me the green light, but then I get: Error:IOTCL SIOCAIFADDR NETWORK IS DOWN WTH? Why does it give me this?
  9. I get the same thing AND I have the green light AND my cable is plugged in! What the heck is going on? Update: I got internet by using a tp-link wn723n usb adapter and downloading the RTL8192SU Driver from the osx86.net
