1. Good work! Can it dump the complete smc-firmware? If yes, which command is required?
2. Hello, long time ago........... Which commands are necessary to save the smc as a file? Can you/someone send me the attached files, downloads via forum isn't possible yet
3. Mavericks 10.9.4 on a Mac Pro 1.1

No, i want to avoid using hackintosh-bootloaders. It is possible to install with few changes (see first posting), but i'm stuck before mavericks-setup. I tried another usb drive, but same problem.
4. Mavericks 10.9.4 on a Mac Pro 1.1

Mac Pro 1.1 and 2.1 arent official supported to run OSX 10.8 or higher........
5. Mavericks 10.9.4 on a Mac Pro 1.1

It has 2 Xeon X5355 quads. I updated the firmware, so its a MP2.1. I'm sure that its possible to install 10.8 or 10.9 on MP1.1/2.1 without chameleon-bootloader. The MP is also 64bit, only EFI is 32bit; when replacing the original boot.efi it should work.
6. Hello, i want to install Mavericks on a (real) MP1.1 with Lion 10.7.5, but installer isnt starting. -Mavericks is downloaded from appstore -i created a bootable installation usb drive, link: http://www.tips-and-tricks-in-mavericks.com/how-to-create-an-os-x-mavericks-install-drive/ -replaced the boot.efi in folders "System/Library/CoreServices/boot.efi" and "usr/standalone/i386/boot.efi" -modified OSInstall.mpkg with Flat Package Editor: "Distribution" file -modified "InstallableMachine.plist", inserted board-ID of Mac Pro 1.1/2.1 When booting from usb drive, i stuck after a while with blackscreen with white message "waiting for root device". I guess a kext is missing? The MP is original, except a nvidia videocard 8800GT flashed with mac rom (grey bootscreen works). Any ideas?
7. Kernel panic while updating

Hello, are you sure that the panic is caused by updating for example Adobe? I got kernel panic when updating only: -Safari or -iTunes or -Adobe Acrobat Pro or -security update or -perhaps a few other programs, i didn't try all updates. Edit: Attached screenshot while updating Safari.
8. Hi, i have problems with my system: -Dell XPS 600 with Pentium 4, 3,4GHz (yes, Pentium and single-core) -4x1GB RAM -nVidia GeForce 7800 GTX -Snow Leopard 10.6.8 Since a few month a got problem while updating. The first kernel panic (screenshot below) was while installing the "security-update 2013-002", all newer security-updates cause the same problem. But a few weeks ago i got the same problem also when updating iTunes, Mozilla Firefox (25.0) and Adobe Acrobat Pro. I didn't change the hardware, last year the RAM was extended from 2 to 4GB. Any ideas or solutions? Thanks!
9. Network works only after boot with boot-CD

Problem solved - for now. nForceLan.kext was missing, i put it in the extensions-folder and after a few minutes the network-controller worked. So i loaded the combo-update 10.6.8 and legacy.kext. Thanks!
10. Hello folks, i installed OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.3 (update to 10.6.8) on my Dell XPS 600. So far, i can't get my network working, but when booting with the Nawcom boot-cd, it works fine. I tried #####, some kextes and restarts, but that doesn't help. All other components work fine. Dell uses nVidia chipset (Nvidia nForce4-SLI) in this Mainboard, not Intel! #####-CDs didn't work to install OSX, so i tried the Nawcom-boot-cd and it works without problems. System: -Dell XPS 600 with Pentium 4, 3,4GHz -4x 512MB RAM -DVD-drive Lite-on DVD SOHD-167T (via IDE) -WD Harddrive 1600JS-75NCB1 -Realtek ALC850 AC'97 Audio-Controller -nVidia GeForce 7800 GTX -nVidia nForce Networking Controller -nVidia nForce4 Serial ATA RAID-Controller (RAID is disabled) -nVidia Network Bus Enumerator -FireWire: Texas Instruments I use also Windows XP (Dualboot), the network operates without problems.
