  1. El Capitan: Realtek ALC AppleHDA Audio

    Thanks, that did the trick. Instead of importing everything from time machine and having old kexts in there, I manually moved the files I need.
  2. El Capitan: Realtek ALC AppleHDA Audio

    Disabled SIP completely. Ran this to clear the cache: System Integrity Protection status: disabled. sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions/ && sudo kextcache -u /
  3. El Capitan: Realtek ALC AppleHDA Audio

    Sorry, here it is.
  4. El Capitan: Realtek ALC AppleHDA Audio

    Hey Toleda, I've used your CloverALC method to inject Audio ID 1 for ALC 892. I've got the correct layout-id in IOReg and still no audio devices show up. Using original AppleHDA.kext, kext-dev-mode boot flags, and removed other HDAenablers etc. Even running the audio_codecdetect.command shows that everything is ok. Clover config: <key>KextsToPatch</key> <array> <dict> <key>Comment</key> <string>t1-10.9-10.11-AppleHDA/Realtek ALC892</string> <key>Find</key> <data> ixnUEQ== </data> <key>Name</key> <string>AppleHDA</string> <key>Replace</key> <data> kgjsEA== </data> </dict> <dict> <key>Comment</key> <string>t1-AppleHDA/Resources/xml>zml</string> <key>Find</key> <data> eG1sLnps </data> <key>Name</key> <string>AppleHDA</string> <key>Replace</key> <data> em1sLnps </data> </dict> <dict> <key>Comment</key> <string>t1-10.11-AppleHDA/Realtek ALC...</string> <key>Find</key> <data> gxnUEQ== </data> <key>Name</key> <string>AppleHDA</string> <key>Replace</key> <data> AAAAAA== </data> </dict> </array> Any steps I'm missing? Thanks!
  5. which pci-e adapter for Broadcom BCM94322MC

    Ah yes, I though it was a ready made card. If nothing else, I'm going to have to get it, although I'd like to get something cheaper. Thanks!
  6. which pci-e adapter for Broadcom BCM94322MC

    Hey Rampage Dev, It's not a problem with OSX, rather the pci-e adapter was not designed for broadcom chips (it didn't show up in ubuntu as well). Here's the adapter that didn't work: And here's the BCM chip: I hope that explains my situation better
  7. Wanted to build my own airport card, so ordered Broadcom BCM94322MC card. Unfortunately, it turned out that the pci-e adapter I purchased for it doesn't work with intel 39xx,Intel 62xx or broadcom, even though it's 3.3.V as required. Anyone care to share a link to a PCI-e adapter that works with this chip? Thanks! P.S. This is the guide I was following: http://x86wifi.blogspot.com/2010/04/how-to-build-your-own-real-airport-card.html
  8. So I started with a fresh install and didn't import my old user. Wifi icon didn't show up at all. I patched IO80211Family with the device id again and rebooted. Now the wifi icon appeared ("no wifi hardware installed"). Turns out the problem was with networkinterfaces.plist. I swithced back to old one and it worked. Maybe this helps somebody
  9. Thanks for your responses I tried the kext spakk suggested without results. I also copied my old patched IO80211Family from Mountain Lion, which also doesn't work here. So the problem must be somewhere else. IO reg is attached. From what I see, the device id of the pci card is not correct.
  10. Wifi PCI card (broadcom 4329), which was working fine in Mountain Lion, stopped working in Mavericks. In ML I patched IO80211Family.kext with the device ID. Made the same change after installing Mavericks and it's not working anymore. Does somebody know what has changed in Mavericks? Thanks!
  11. Thanks, it worked! Geekbench went from 9 thousand something to 8958, so a small loss in performance
  12. Thanks Rob, I will try to run the comman next time it happens, however I'm more interested as to why this keeps happening over and over again?
  13. Everything works OK for a couple of days, but then I get Invalid Node Structure error on boot. Restore everything and all is fine. After a while same thing happens again... Any idea what might be causing this? I'm running a Kingston SSD from SSDnow series and it seems to be fine. Thanks!
  14. I'm having this exact same problem with slow boot: Also exact same error messages when running Finalize. What did you do to fix this? Thanks!
