The up side is lower P-states on idle. I'll post some screenshots shortly but was hoping to eliminate some of these kernel patches. 
     
    If I blow out the patches sleep doesn't work...

    The easy answer? Reformat the disk to pure GPT. The hard answer? Make sure it's GPT, then resize the first partition to be like 100MB smaller at the start, add the partition and make sure the GPT is sorted so the partitions appear in the correct order (the ESP first). Don't forget to reinstall everything.
     
    EDIT: Who edited my post? You could at least have said you edited it. Also, don't edit my posts again, don't care why. I don't need to be here and I have no problem leaving again...
     
    Did this start happening at some point or never worked? Have you tried using the keyboard and mouse drivers? Do you have some sort of legacy fixes turned on in your firmware? Also, a lot of the time, instead of using CsmVideo driver, disable CSM all together to get native resolutions. That only works if you have an EFI capable graphics though.

    After sleep, GB runs will no longer max cpu, loses 'bout 4000 point in GB score.

    OMG I got SPDIFOut working it sounds Lush!!!   Thanks for all the help.  I was using the wrong cable. The sound is spectacular!!

    yes, i did a test with both, the kext and the xcpm patches.
     
    And with only the kext, no FakeCpuId, no xcpm patches.
    When i use only PMDrvr.kext without xcpm, i get best performance, but no C-States. Only P-States.
     
    CPU idles down to x12, but temps are higher and more power consumption.
     
    Same as NullCpuPm but no jumping frequency

    You solved the problem with the wrong P- and C-States!
     
    I use your kext with xcpm and get all P-states and same low power consumption in idle.
     
    No longer a jumping frequency.
     
    I only use 2 additional patches.
     
    First i enable EIST hardware coordination for correct msr settings (0x198/0x199) and another one for setting msr 0xE2.
     
    Without EIST hardware coordination, i get very low (600MHz) states for Target performance State Value.
     
     
    Perfect job!
     
     
    EDIT: Sleep is working perfect too, GB scores are the same after sleep!

    r3842 compiled here with 4.1.2 works fine. Thanks again for your help

    Thanks to you! 3842 is ok, I also have the sensation that the GUI is more responsive.
     
    Test r3842 package attached should avoid this problem, please report back.

    Script 4.1.2 builds fine here but deletes existing themes and they have to be reinstalled after every update. The problems is fixed with Mickeys "preinstall.zip" in this post:
