  1. lion pci devices

Hello all, I wasn't sure if anyone knew if this would cause a problem or not but I have lion installed and fully working on my x58. I have a gtx 560ti and its currently in the first slot of my mobo. The problem is with this board the way it was designed when you put a dual slot card in it covers the one pci express slot and i was going to use it for a wifi card. Does any one know if i will brick the install by changing the location of my card?
  2. Asus x58 mobo IOAPIC

So i got Lion all installed and working flawlessly except for the audio. Ive tried a few different audio kexts and have had no luck, does anyone have any ideas as to a promising solution for this? As of right now the audio panel shows that there are no output or input devices... Thanks again.

  4. Hello all, I have been trying to install lion for some time on my asus x58 mobo but keep receiving: IOAPIC: Version 0x20 Vectors 88:111 IOAPIC : Version 0x20 Vectors 64:87 and then it hangs... I tried a hacked DSDT but that didn't work either... any thoughts? my specs are: Asus sabertooth x58 8gb ddr3 corsair ram 500gb sata WD core i7 960 3.4ghz Evga nvidia 560ti Thank you in advance for any input!
  5. Hello all, I am trying to put snow leopard on my computer but am having some slight issues with the install. I have to start the install with GraphicsEnabler=no due to my graphics card causing a kernel panic. When i finally get the installer up and running it only shows that i have one volume to chose from which is the system reserved volume that is created by windows 7. When i try to open disk utility it freezes so i have tried the terminal diskutil commands. when i try to mount the HFS+ disk that i have it says it timed out trying to mount the disk, yet i can mount the system reserved partition and unmount it. Its the only one i can seem to manage. Does anyone have any input... is there a way to set an active partition using chameleon bootloader that will somehow force it to mount that volume. Thanks in advance for any input. SPECS: Asus Sabertooth x58 2x 4gb Corsair 1333MHz 9 9 9 24 timings ram 500 GB caviar blue HD Intel Core i7 960 3.2GHz EVGA Nvidia 560ti 750 watt power supply
