  5. ahh everything working now was a hardware problem my ram wasn't working
  6. ok i just had a broken ram inside my hackintosh... everything working now!!!
  7. hi, i need some help. my motherboard (ga-ex58-ud5) is not using the memory installed in channel 1 2 but the tow modules in channel 0 are recognized and working. i don't know what i should do... maybe some tweaking in the bios is necessary. except of this problem everything is working like it should. in the activity monitor it shows me only 4GB are used but in the system profile all the memory is recognized correctly. pleas help me fixing that issue. i would be very happy if i could use all the installed memory especially because lion is so ram hungry. thanks in advance.
  8. hi i have the same problem and in os x lion it is very hard with 4gb ram because i want to use my computer for music production... i have found this Activity Monitor only showing 4GB of 8GB RAM but it did not help me... please can someone tell me how to fix this
