1. Try booting with this flag: cpus=1 busratio= ?? (Use google to find the proper one for your cpu!...) . @Mammoth GOOD LUCK! I hope you'll get the job! :thumbsup_anim:
2. Hello! I am back and successfully upgraded my laptop to 10.7.4 -thank you Taptun! I read that you have finally found a way to fix HDMI audio. If someone could fix mine* -everything except HDMI audio works fine- I would grateful! *Or provide a tutorial! This is the download link. Thanks!
3. Im writing from the iPhone so I cannot post any files now. It is included in the Kexts.zip posted by Taptun some post before. Try searching it.
4. Try bootflag pciroot=1. Also give tonymacx86's boot cd a try. Its called #####. I have been always using it without any problem!
5. I will leave it as it is. The only lag I can see is sometimes with the mouse pointer ( not easy to notice it) but the battery life is better. When I am playing videos etc. everything runs smoothly. So no problem. The only problem left is the HDMI audio...
6. Yes. Check the lag using the "Abou my Mac". Select more info and try changing tab. Then see when its smoother! Also try playing a video in full HD and see what happens.
7. The FakeSMC is the original one which is preset to MacPro3,1. My AppleGraphicsPowerManagement.kext * is coming in a moment (MacBookPro6,2-->GT 230M). *Note that I am running Lion 10.7.2 and all updates installed. I'm telling that in case this kext has changed. UPDATE: Just noticed this: I changed my SMC version back to the MacBookPro6,2 one. I noticed the mouse lag. Then open youtube and played a full 1080p video. The system doesn't lag at all. When I pause it the lag is back again... Maybe because of the video card power management? That's why MacPro works better: different power management. AppleGraphicsPowerManagement.kext.zip
8. Actually I successfully changed my FakeSMC but I experienced these problems with the mouse and graphics lags. Also no popping sound when turning sound off...I dont know why. So I got back to the Mac3.1 FakeSMC and everything is running smoothly again.
9. I also want to modify my FakeSMC. Have you found the SMC Version for MacBookPro6,2? MacBookPro6,2: Boot ROM Version: MBP61.0057.B0A SMC Version (system): 1.58f16
10. You have a 15" laptop so MacBookPro6,2 fits your system better. If you did the change under MacBookPro6,2 but your SMBios is set to 6,1 thats why it does not work.
11. I don't believe that you can test them with your pre-installed touchpad. Actually I am using Apple's Magic Trackpad and everything works! xD
12. Your PciRoot probably is 0 not 1. That causes the problem. You can follow the trick with the kernel posted a few steps above I get your iCloud working!
