  1. Post YOUR instructions....

Thanks Diabolik...this worked just fine for me (Gigabyte 7600GT), no mucking around with editing kexts etc. etc....tnx a lot!
  2. Hi, I don't have rotation on my menu...I have Gigabyte 7600GT 256, using "7600GT.and.7600GS.Natit.Dual.Screen.pkg" to install drivers, and CMV221D screen...hope that helps!
  3. lol...I thought I had searched everywhere for the answer to this, but obviously not, because shortly after making the above post I found a thread that worked. Featuring responses by stiffy, rammjet and thedguy, what worked for me was stiffy's suggestion in post #7 (1Dec06). Just one thing though, the file I had to edit was /System/Library/Extensions/IONetworking.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleYukon.kext/Contents/Info.plist In the thread they seem to have left out the final /Contents directory
  4. Marvell Yukon PCI-E 8056 works?

Thanks everyone...this worked for me in trying to get the Ethernet working on my Gigabyte 965P-DS4, which also has the Yukon Marvell 8056 (as a built in). Just one thing though, the file I had to edit was /System/Library/Extensions/IONetworking.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleYukon.kext/Contents/Info.plist
  5. Hello to all, I have installed OSX using JaS 10.4.8 for AMD & Intel SSe2 Or SSe3 patched with the Jas v1p patch. It boots ok (along with WinXp and linux)...but I can't get the ethernet working under OSX and any help would be greatly appreciated. I have my Pioneer DVR-111D connected to the parallel port, and my hard drive (Seagate ST325082) connected to the purple SATA port with onboard SATA/IDE enabled and set to IDE. This is the only configuration I could find which runs all 3 OS's (WinXP/OSX/openSUSE). I use grub as my master boot loader...grub has its own FAT32 primary partition. Two other primary partitions are used for WinXP (NTFS) and OSX (HFS+ journaled)...linux goes into a logical partition (ext3). I also have a FAT32 formatted grub boot floppy incase the hd screws up. I like grub! Everything boots and runs ok. The install went ok once I upgraded the bios to F8...prior to that the OSX installer couldn't recognise the DVD drive on the parallel port. After the OSX install I got pion's patch and ran the Ethernet patch...but Ethernet still doesn't work. It is grayed out. Can anyone give me some trouble shooting advice on that...thanks.
