  1. I figured it out. guestd_patches.pkg needs to be installed for the fix. It can be found at https://sourceforge.net/projects/vmsvga2/files/Display/ This definitely fixes the Fit Guest Now issue.
  2. Hi Im running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3 in VMware Workstation 8.0.2 build-591240 on Windows 7 x64. I followed all instructions from (...) and everything was working fine even Fit Guest Now until I installed VMsvga2 from https://sourceforge....-7.pkg/download After installing that package, FIt Guest Now has been grayed out. I have also installed VMWare tools and it has not solved the problem. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Instead of using a USB stick can I use a external hard drive. Will it work?
  6. Does this work for OSX Lion? OSX Lion is running on VMWare in Windows?
  7. Hi everyone I have an HP ENVY 17 with Core i7-720Q processor. Currently I have windows 7 x64 on a 320 GB hard drive. I need a Mac for using xcode so I have it running on VMWare. However, I would like to install it on my laptop such that I can dual boot it with Windows. Im looking for a guide that does not use a USB drive. Is it possible? Is there a procedure? I wish to compose a guide after I find out how. Thank you for your support.
