  3. I have 3 sata HD's and 1 Sata DVD drive and Snow Leopard doesn't see them. I have it installed on an IDE HD and it works perfect but I want it on the Sata's...Driving me Nuts! I have a Asus P5K-VM motherboard with intel 2.40 quad-core thats running other versions of leopard fine. Any help would be great!

    No Hard Drive Icon

    Thank you! Great info!
  8. Is this something new in Snow Leopard or do I have a problem? My main hard drive has no icon on the screen. I have my USB hard drive icons on the screen but no Main HD. Is this right?
  9. I have seen this problem before on the boards but can't find the solution. I have no firewire after Snow Leopard Retail Install...Any Ideas?

What am I doing wrong with Final Cut Pro 7

So ts not just me...I am a Ma c man through and through but Premiere is better for real time rendering. I guess its what you get use to.
  13. I must start out saying that I don't make a living doing film editing I just do it as a hobby but I just don't see what the big deal is about final cut. I really, really want to use it but I find that Premiere Pro does a better job. I guess my problem is the timeline real time editing. I can drop all my clips and transitions in the time line on Premiere Pro and its there..no rendering or warning messages that I have to cut off unlimited rt (which I don't even have on by the way). I can watch the video in real time which I can't seem to do with Final Cut with out it stopping Or having to render. I have a Q6600 Quad-core computer so I wouldn't think thats the problem along with 8 gigs of memory. Any help would be grateful because Im sure it might be something Im doing. I really want to use Final Cut but right now Premiere pro seems to do well for me.
