Airport-like app for Ralink 2870

Thanks aqua-mac Works great on 10.9 Mavericks GM with my Aztech WL552USB !!! I followed onelove steps installtion method and I had to replaced the kext with the offical Ralink\MediaTek driver from here: http://www.mediatek.com/_en/07_downloads/01_windows.php?sn=502 USB(RT2870/RT2770/RT3X7X/RT537X) V4.2.6.0 I extracted the pkg and took out the driver and replaced onelove's kext, at ralinkinstalltion/root/System/Library/Extenstion/ for anyone intersted in the driver only, i uploaded it in this link https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/29974191/RT2870USBWirelessDriver.kext.zip The only thing needed to make this better, is to fix the preference panle restart when using RalinkWireless, im gussing as @Gwion Smith said it's 32-bit. screenshots below

Create recovery partition

I having the same issue, with a fresh and only install of Maverick GM, using myHack. but I cannot create a recovery disk using the command createRecoveryHDUpdater.command Using those too guides http://myhack.sojugarden.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=445 http://hints.macworld.com/article.php?story=20120316132618149 Is there a recovery update for mavericks, like Lion and Mountain Lion? I don't want to go throw it manually, like you did. since I have Maverick only.
4. It worked, and the installation went smooth, thanks! After the I booted into Mavericks, i installed the drivers with Mult1beast, installed Audi alc892 and network Intel. For now everything working as expected. ---- I found this guide about dual booting, it's a bit old, but hope it helps http://myhack.sojugarden.com/2009/12/dual-booting-demystified/
5. @BADLY_MAN I agree with, and it's much easier to install OS X on hard disk with GUID Partition, where windows only installs on a MBR hard disks. I have similar build, with the difference of the motherboard, z87mx-d3h, i7 4770k, and GTX 780. I disabled the internal graphics. Installation method, myHack beta 8, i created the USB installer, Mavericks GM. When I boot into the USB, I get stuck at a gray screen. Not sure what to do next. As far as I know, all of the hardware are supported out of the box with installing mountain lion 10.8.5
6. I have the same problem, I'll share my scenario My specs are: i7-4770k, z87mx-d3h, msi gtx 780. Installation method: I created USB installer by #####, OS X 10.8.5. In bios, I resets settings to optimized settings, then disabled the inboard graphics, selected PCI 1 as initial display. Everything went smooth, from creating the USB until the first boot. When I first booted into the OS X hard disk, it boots fine, I installed the drivers with #####, I restarted the PC, then I got stuck at booting into the OS X. The v flags shows me the lines then it stops/stuck at this ( PCI Configuration Begin ) I'm guessing you had the message in the same place? After booting from the hard drive? LooL, I. Not allowed to write utility's name from outside of insainalymacs! I used the ones from tonymacx64 I'm only writing it to share my experience, not to promote.

$800 for a Mobo, CPU, RAM, GPU

@dcai777 the mob and cpu is very old, i think it is from 3-4 years ago, but the rest of the build is GOLD! clicklickw00t replace them with a newer haswell cpu, like an i5 or i7, and a haswell motherboard, look for a z87 chipset gigabyte as they are supported out of the box. i would recommened i7-4770k cpu and gz-z87x-ud4h, even thou it would hit your wallet at a 980$ http://www.amazon.com/Intel-i7-4770K-Quad-Core-Processor-BX80646I74770K/dp/B00CO8TBQ0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1380881076&sr=8-1&keywords=i7+4770k http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128617
