  2. Success - HP XW6600 Workstation

Really happy I found this post ... good to see success stories on the XW6600! i have no doubt I i will find this invaluable.
  3. Dell Precision M6400 OSX Lion

Many thanks this helped me get my NetXtreme BCM5756ME Gigabit Ethernet PCI Express working perfectly
  4. I could not get the Broadcom NetXtreme BCM 5756ME to work with a clean "vanilla" install of OSX 10.6.3 however I finally managed to resolve via this thread http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=258845 using the BCM5722D.zip and modifying the info.plist with the following string <string>pci14e4,1674</string> I hope this helps
  5. install appleacpiplatform.kext and iopcifamily.kext from www.kexts.com this did the trick for me ... now I am running 10.6.8 with no problems at all.
  6. Check this out http://3rr0rists.net/guides/fix-all-issues...s-x-10-6-8.html
  7. I get exactly the same stoppage on Boot (PCI Configuration Begin) ... I have come across these Boot Flags fwhich may help from another post http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=99891 PCI Flags pci=off = Don't use PCI pci=conf1 = Use conf1 access. pci=conf2 = Use conf2 access. pci=rom = Assign ROMs. pci=assign-busses = Assign busses pci=noacpi = Don't use ACPI to set up PCI interrupt routing. Let me know if you try any and have success
