    can't find mach_kernel error

Thanks for the reply! I tried with another distro and inmediatly after boot i got a hfs+ partition error, i then tried with another distro, and it began to load a bunch of stuff and then it stopped to what i think was a kernel panic, at least it's a step forward, i don't have that can't find mach_kernel error anymore... what can i do now?

    can't find mach_kernel error

    help, anybody?
  3. Hi, i have a hp mini 110 in which i succesfully installed snow leopard, i uninstalled it and installed linux... today i wanted to reinstall OSX, i thought it would be pretty quick since i've already went through the whole process and i knew what to do, but when i boot the usb stick to begin installaion, it appears a grey screen and inmediatly the message " can't find mach_kernel " if i type -s nothing happens, if i type -v it just says that is loading the mach_kernel and then the can't find mach_kernel error, i saw a couple of threads about it and how to fix it but it only works when you've already installed OSX... i don't so... what can i do? any ideas? thanks!

Which version did you used? iDeneb v3 ? because i've searched for that version and i don't find it... maybe you mean version 1.5? it's the one with OSX 10.5.7.

Awesome, please let us know if you can install it succesfully. About the ethernet port, yeah, i know it is under the flap but let just say that my netbook had a little accident so... no ethernet port for me, lol

Yeah i meant to add that option on the boot. Not sure why it doesn't work for you... are you sure you didn't installed any USB option? Try the -v and see if anything looks weird, any kind of error that would point us to why you can't use USB. On my netbook i don't have a ethernet port... it's only wireless for me, i really hope there's a fix for that.

I installed the ethernet driver from the realtek website, it detects the ethernet (which is useless because there's no ethernet port) but the wifi doesn't work, probably it has something to do with airport and i can't enable the QE/CI. For the usb problems add the flag: "USBBusFix:Yes"

Install the Rc4 chameleon, the atom kernel, sata ahci support or something like that, i don't remember exactly, battery, apple ps/2 drivers, and whatever else you think it will need, but don't install any usb fixes or drivers. In the reboot write: "-v" "cpus=1" and "UsbFix=Yes" without quotes and hopefully you will be loading succesfully into OS X
  9. Hi, i installed iAtkos S3 on my Hp Mini 110 3000 and i have a couple of problems that i can't seem to find a solution... I tried a couple of methods to enable QE/CI but i still fail to enable it. Also, the preview app doesn't work, perhaps it has something to do with the QE/CI ? My wireless doesn't work, which is something i already knew i was going to have problems with and i can't adjust the screen brightness, is it possible to fix that? My specs: 82801 Mobile PCI Bridge NM10 Family LPC Controller N10/ICH7 Family USB UHCI Controller N10/ICH7 Family USB UHCI Controller N10/ICH7 Family USB UHCI Controller N10/ICH7 Family USB UHCI Controller N10/ICH7 Family USB2 EHCI Controller N10/ICH7 Family USB PCI Express Port 3 N10/ICH7 Family USB PCI Express Port 4 RTL8101E/RTL8102E PCI Express Fast Ethernet controller N10 Family Integrated Graphics Controller N10/ICH 7 Family SMBus Controller N10/ICH 7 Family SATA AHCI Controller N10/ICH 7 Family High Definition Audio Controller N10 Family Integrated Graphics Controller N10 Family DMI Bridge Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

    HP mini 110-3700

I reinstalled with the chameleon Rc4 bootloader and installing various options according to my hardware and after reboot i used the option cpus=1 and i was able to boot into OSX. Now the problems are that my usb ports doesn't seem to be functional, there's no wifi and a couple of other things... well it's a progress...

Ok, i made some progress. I used this guide: http://msarun.wordpress.com/2011/01/06/gui...450-from-win-7/ I was able to install the OSX but in the reboot it appears the chameleon boot, i chose my hd where the OSX is installed and the computer reboots...

    HP mini 110-3700

Hi, i have a hp mini 110-3710 and have the same problem (stuck on apple logo, spinning wheel, stop sign). I use the -v and says, "Still Waiting For Root Device ", basically the same thing that happens to apateonas... I'll try to search and find a solution, if i find something i`ll post it here, it would be cool and i'll really appreciate if anyone who finds a solution could post it here, thanks!
