1. Similar hardware here, does 10.7.2 beta speedstepper work ?? Also need speedstepper or kp w/o nullcpu kext.
2. I don't know if it is fixed in the meantime, but this DSDT correction worked for me: http://tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=28851 No need to delete AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB.kext at all.. Good luck ps: this DSDT correction is also needed with the new Chimera that's posted a few posts earlier (at least for me it is)
3. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Clean install, with and without USBBusFix=Yes: USB 3.0: ok USB 2.0: not working
4. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Still nothing on USB 2.0 ports... LegacyAppleAHCIPort maybe ?
5. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Hi Maldon, Everything works except USB 2.0 ports... (USB 3.0 port does work) I'm looking for this for a week now, need an expert like you to fix it or show me the way... Really need this funcionality, Thanks in advance ! send_me.zip
6. DSDT Auto-Patcher

0x0C = 12 maybe ?
7. Hello disneysw, Nice work! I've got the AlienwareM14x but having a hard time trying to make the sound work. I was wondering what sound you've got? I've got ALC665. VoodooHDA has caused nothing but kernel panics here but by patching it, it might do otherwise. Also, how did you manage to get your USB 2.0 working ? My USB 3.0 works out of the box in Lion 10.7... Thanks in advance !
8. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Clean 10.7 install. DSDT has enabled audio in HDEF section. Where do I go from here? I patch AppleHDA following this guide? http://olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=212 I have ALC665... will it work for this codec? Thanks
9. DSDT Auto-Patcher

I thought sound could be enabled by: AppleHDA + LegacyHDA + DSDT edit (_DSM method in HDEF)... Then patch AppleHDA like http://olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=212 ?
10. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Hi MaLd0n, Running 10.7 and trying to make everything work here. 2 most important things to go are audio & USB 2.0. - You already enabled audio in DSDT (I think, still learning about DSDT as I go ). Means I need to patch AppleHDA... - USB 3.0 works (other you patched it in DSDT previous time, other it works out of the box). Can you tell me why it works? - USB 2.0 does not respond. Can you pls have a look? Mobo: Alienware M14xR1 Chipset: Intel HM67 Audio: Realtek ALC665 (device_id=0665 / vendor_id=10EC) EDIT: where to find LegacyHDA ? send_me.zip
11. Lion installation fails

Working, thanks
12. Lion installation fails

Should there be one in S/L/E ? Cause else I've never installed one before I think...
13. Hello all, I've purchased and downloaded Lion 10.7 from the app store. The installer is placed on a seperate partition (Tonymac & Macman's guide) and I'm at the point where I should boot into that Installer partition. Here, however I get a very odd screen (see picture). Neither keyboard or trackpad are working. It is the installer but pretty messed up...
14. DSDT Auto-Patcher

I remove that line in dsdt.dsl, compile dsdt but when I open the dsdt.aml the line is still there... I'm missing something essential here? ps: using DSDTSE
15. DSDT Auto-Patcher

As I try to compile the DSDT (now I'm doing it without #####) I see there's still a compile error: dsdt.dsl 36: External (\TNOT) Name already exists in scope ^ (\TNOT) How to fix this ? I assume I cannot just rename one (?)... dsdt.mmvie.zip
