  1. Deleting the VoodooHDA.kext seemed to do the trick. Sound works fine thru the fw device, thats all I need right now, so another battle for another day.
  2. I shot myself in the foot, letting updater run the 10.6.8 update. After fixing the SleepEnabler error, I'm also getting an error on the AppleHDAController. I believe this is related to the Alesis FireWire driver that is loaded for my audio mixer. Any help on this would be appreciated. Hardware: Asus P7P55D-E Pro 8GB Memory NV 9500GT using DSDT for this MB Trying to attach a screen pic of errors. Thanks in advance, Pat
  3. Hello, I recently picked up a QX410 from Woot! and am interested in installing OS X on it. This will be my first foray into OSx86 on a laptop. I have previously built a desktop successfully, although still consider myself a OS X noob. I was wondering if there was any luck getting the ethernet to work yet? I have not yet replaced the wireless card , so was hoping for a wired connection. I appreciate the OP, but am not familiar with all the lingo and location of said files, kernel, etc. Any words of advice on installation would be appreciated. Thanks, repat
