  1. we need more stats - who else is experiencing issues with flash? please fill out the poll. 1. a new updated post can be found on the nanofunk website. 2. the adobe bugbase bug report on can be found here
  2. @vkd: please write your concerns to the Adobe Forums in the existing thread. This is the only way we can get Adobe to fix this fast.
  3. [Installer] X58A-UD3R v 2.0 FF

i created a poll and a list on how to reproduce this issue. see http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=263859 i think the issue is flash-related.
  4. since i was pulling my hair out on this one, i wanted to share my findings with strange console.app messages that slowed down my 10.7 lion system: if you find sandboxd or WebProcess to occupy large parts of your CPU power, check your console.app messages and search for something similar to this: "WebProcess(225) deny file-read-data /Users/foobert/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AIR/ELS/com.adobe.amp.4875E02D9FB21EE389F73B8D1702B320485DF8CE.1/ PrivateEncryptedDatak" repairing the keychain will fix this issues, as outlined on a blog entry from me. i found out, that most of the OSX 10.7 Lion upgrades seem to have issues with the keychain, so repairing the keychain might be a good idea, even if you don't have the issues described. i had keychain issues on three updated lion computers myself.
  5. TRIM for Third-Party SSD!

after running the TRIM ENABLER, my system freezes from time to time. i am not completely sure if enabling trim really is the problem, since the console.app does not show any information except "IOSurface: buffer allocation size is zero" (which seems to be related to flash and not the ssd). anyone else having issues?
  6. Lots of people are reporting, they are experiencing a lagging OSX after upgrading to Mac OSX 10.7 Lion. For me, yet this was a shaky ride on a MBP 2011, having issues that severely affected the usability of my system. Mac OSX Lion 10.7 System Freezes: kernel: IOSurface: buffer allocation size is zero (console message) see the blog entry on that topic http://www.nanofunk.net/mac-osx-lion-10-7-...onsole-message/ while updating to adobe labs flash 11.0 player solves some freezing issues, still console.app is displaying errors every minute: IOSurface: buffer allocation size is zero please take a minute to reproduce the issue and let's see if we can get a more detailed information on what is really going on: Open Console.app select "kernel.log" in the dropdown list on the left side press "Clear Display" on the Menu Bar navigate to http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ with a browser of your choice and see if a console message shows up when doing so. please post the results to the poll attached to this entry.
  7. Two messages spamming my Console

i also think this issue is flash related. installing the latest flash 11.0 beta from adobe labs seem to make less logging, but still the issues exist. we wrote up a blog entry on that issue here: http://www.nanofunk.net/mac-osx-lion-10-7-...onsole-message/ currently, we are trying to find out what is the issue and also reported to the adobe forums regarding the log messages. using safari instead of chrome also minimized the issues (chrome has its own internal older flash plugin)
