  1. DSDT Auto patcher - Gone?

    Didn't work unfortunately. Thanks anyway
  2. DSDT Auto patcher - Gone?

DSDT Editor and Patcher is a great tool and even better than AutoPatcher, which is a simplified version of the same tool. DSDTSE was used to come up with most of the edits but DSDTE and P is great for applying and compiling once the edits have been made into patches.
  3. DSDT Auto patcher - Gone?

Thanks for having a shot at this! It looks very unlike anything else I've seen I'll try it out tomorrow. Any idea what the audio part of it would be named on this DSDT? I can't seem to find anything that looks like it could be AZEL or HDEF. The codec is ALC888S and I had that showing up using HDAEnabler 888 kext using LegacyAppleRTC and NullPowerManagement instead of a DSDT. Cheers

What do you make of this board? It's a Foxconn H67 chipset. I've had no luck trying to edit it. Wanna have a shot at it? Cheers Foxconn H67S Vanilla DSDT.dsl.zip
  5. DSDT Auto patcher - Gone?

Hello MaLdOn I scored an ex-display P55-USB3 and found a DSDT that you'd already edited for "Hades". I just wanted to let you know that it works like a champion in this machine! I had a used i5 650 kicking around and always wondered if it was any good. This thing stays stable (and pretty cool) up to 4.5Ghz and is almost hitting 10000 on geekbench when OC'd that much! I'm running it at 3.93 and it's hardly exceeding 25 degrees. (Noctura CPU paste and Arctic CPU cooler, 1600 ram at running at 1333) Anyway, thanks again for your great DSDT work.
  6. Asus P5E DSDT fixes

Hello Oldnapalm I've just got this little HP/OEM Asus board (1P18L-LB) running really well with DSDT help from MaLdOn. The only problem is that either SL or Lion only sees the built in LSI Firewire 10% of the time. Win 7 sees it all the time so the board is OK. Occasionally I boot the machine and it shows up in profiler but most of the time it's just not showing. When it is there, it works fine with a plug N play Apogee audio interface. Any idea how I could get it showing 100% of the time? This is my first ASUS experience! LSI Firewire chipsets have been used in macbooks so I'm surprised it's not there every time on this board.
  7. DSDT Auto patcher - Gone?

Hello MaLdOn DSDT for the 1P18L-LB works like a charm and I just wanted to thank you again for uploading the patches for it. It sleeps, wakes up, shuts down, re-boots, etc, with 2, 3 or 4 sticks of ram and makes good use of a board that's been lying around for ages collecting dust. Your dsdt patches just work better than anyone else's. Cheers
  8. DSDT Auto patcher - Gone?

I know.... This is the last board, I promise! I've had it lying around for ages and am digging myself into a hole trying to edit it using DSDTEditor. Everything is working apart from the FW and sleep. Thanks for all you've done anyway Ed: I've just figured out how apply the patches from your last post and now the dsdt is showing 0 Errors, 0 Warnings, 0 Remarks and 50 Optimizations. I'll try it out in the machine tomorrow. Thanks again
  9. DSDT Auto patcher - Gone?

Hello MaLdOn I've just ran your "Run Me" app on the Asus 1P18L-LB. I've uploaded two "Send Me" files. One made with 2 ram sticks and one made with four ram sticks. It would be great to get a DSDT for this board. Cheers send_me_2_Ram_Sticks.zip send_me_4_Ram_Sticks.zip
  10. DSDT Auto patcher - Gone?

Hi MaLdOn Is there any particular kext for the Gigabyte 73PVM S2H (nforce) that will make OSX see my two IDE DVD drives? (Two Plextors) The SATA DVD drive works fine but the two IDE ones are not seen by OSX. Cheers

  12. DSDT Auto patcher - Gone?

Hello MaLdOn My Gigabyte 73PVM-S2H doesn't load the high speed USB bus around 50% of the time. This happens on both SL and Lion. This results in very slow USB transfer when it's not loaded but everything else apart from IDE CD drives not being seen, runs absolutely fine. The Extra/Extensions folder contains: FakeSMC ACL8**HDA EvOreboot JMicronSATA I ran your "Run Me" app with the high speed USB bus not showing in system profiler. Is there anything else that can be done to the DSDT? It's a DSDT that you made and I did also try applying the mac devices patch using DSDTEditor because I noticed the USB's were still labeled USB0 and USB2. Cheers send_me.zip
  13. DSDT editor and patcher

Thanks for the reply! So the compiler actually makes more optimizations that will end up in the resulting saved DSDT? DSDT Editor is a very good tool but I'm still trying to get my head around it!
  14. DSDT editor and patcher

A quick question with regards to DSDT Editor and patcher. When it shows 0 Errors, 0 Warnings, 0 Remarks, 8 Optimizations, does that mean that there are 8 more optimizations that could be done or 8 optimizations that have been done? For example: MaLdOn's auto patched DSDT for my Gigabyte P55A-UD3, shows 0 Errors, 0 Warnings, 0 Remarks, 5 Optimizations. (The "AHCI SATA Orange Icon" patch worked in Lion but not in SL, when applied to this DSDT) MacMan's DSDT for the same board, from the TMX86 DSDT database, shows 1 Error, 0 Warnings, 0 Remarks, 32 Optimizations. I successfully fixed the error and added sleep to MacMan's DSDT using DSDT Editor and Patcher. Now it shows 0 Errors, 0 Warnings, 0 Remarks but still 32 Optimizations. Just trying to get my head around this...
  15. DSDT Auto patcher - Gone?

I just need to buy and throw a processor into it and I'll get files over to you ASAP. I'll probably get a Q8400 for it? I'll need to install Windoze first just to update the bios using the exe file I got from the HP website. I'll extract a vanilla DSDT.
