1. Sorry but which rule did I not followed?
2. Hey folks. I successfully built a Maverick installation disk which works perfectly (except for the spund) using ##### and ##### , installed Ubuntu 12.04 in another HD and Windows 8 in another. Everything perfect - heeeeeey Although I find annoying to keep my OSX pendrive plugged in and hit F8 everytime I want to use it. I tried to install Clover but nothing changed. Is there some guide to do it? I'm using a Asus Maximus VI Extreme mb (Z87 chipset) with UEFI enabled. Thanks!
3. I just got a Niresh12495 AMD compatible 10.8.2 distro but I keep gettings this error: "Unable to set 'OSX' as boot disk: The bless tool was unable to set the current boot disk Install failed: The installer could not start up the computer from the disk "OSX" Motherboard: Asus Crosshair Formula V Chipset: AMD 990FX Processor: AMD 1090t RAM: 4x4Gb Corsair 1333 Video: EVGA nVidia GTS 450 Any tips, tricks or guides? Tks!
4. Sorry. I posted it again because since I got no answer here I thought it could be impossible or something. I tried Snow Leopard 10.6.3 Retail, 10.6 Retail 10A432, 10.6.1 10.6.2-SSE2-SSE3-Intel-AMD, 10.6.6i by Hazard, 10.6 iATKOS s3 V2, Nirash, OSX 10.7.3 V2, OSX 10.6 SnowLeo and Niresh 10.8. To tell you the truth I rarely use the same flags, which usually are "Kernel Cache"=\amd, arch=i386, busratio=16 -x -v
5. Hey there. I already tried to install several OS X distro and version on my machine but most of the time I get stuck in ´AppleUSBOHCI' message even if all HDs are set to AHCI mode. So my questions are: 1- Which distros/versions are compatible with my system? 2- Which boot flags to use? Here´s my PC config: Motherboard: Asus Crosshair Formula V Chipset: AMD 990FX Processor: AMD Phenom II Black 1090t RAM: 4x4Gb Corsair Vengeance 1333 VGA: nVidia GT460GT
6. Hey guys. I'm trying to use Hazard's Snow Leopard 10.6.6i in my AMD machine. It installs perfectly with the busratio=15 flag. But after the 2md boot i can't access any site and i have to boot with Nawcoms boot CD. besides that it doesn't shows my 32Gb pendrive, even if it uses exFAT or FAT32 filesystem and I can't use a resolution bigger than 1024x768 nor a dual-monitor. Specs: Asus m4n78 pro AMD am2+ 9400 be 8gb ddr2 800 Geforce 9800 gtx+ Triple-boot - win-win, Ubuntu and osx Tks!
7. Hello again. Im trying to install a Snow Leopard Hazard distro in my AMD ASUS M4N78 PRO mobo using the Nawcom OSX ModCD but right after the language selection menu OSX says "there was a problem reading the mac os x installation disk." and I cant go further. I tried 10.6.2, 10.6.4 and 1.6.6i versions and all I got is same error message. The weird thing is that a few months ago it was working fine in ths same hardware. What could be going wrong? Is there some switch to find whats the problem?
8. Im Lost! :(

I found that the error was due to some HD bad sectors. Im fixing it now and try again later It installed without any error, but during the first boot Im getting kernel panic... Do I have to load OSX using some switches like I did to install it (-v busratio=15)? When I tried it got stuck somewhere... Shall I wait more? How can find whats causing this problem?
9. Im Lost! :(

I got some progress with Hazard's 10.6.6i. I installed properly in VMWare, then I burned its image and reboot. The problem now is a "ebios read error controller or device" error message right after the setup starts...
10. Im Lost! :(

I dont have an external DVD avaliable
11. Im Lost! :(

Hey there. Since Im not a Mac user but a long-time PC user I need your help. I need to install OSX to run Final Cut, but I cant find a way to install it. My PC specs are: AMD Phenom II 940 - 3.0Ghz Mainboard Asus M4N78 Pro - GeForce 8300 chipset 4 HDs - Windows 7 is installed in a RAID array 8Gbs RAM GeForce 9800GTX+ 512Mb I tried to install with several distros, including iPC 10.5.6 Universal Final, but everything I get is the classic 'waiting for root device' error if RAID is on or a black screen with a colored circle if AHCI or IDE is on. I already tried to use a IDE and a SATA DVD drive, no success at all. What I do? Is there a someway to bypass this issue? Any help is a nice help
