  1. Works for an ATI X1300 on 10.6.8. Full QE/CI + resolution change. Has anyone tried with Lion yet? How about replacing EVOenabler with EFI-string?
  2. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Hi MaLd0n, I have been using this patch on my Dell Optiplex 780 for a week now, and all is good. All USB reports as built-in, reboot and shutdown works. Sleep however still doesn't work... Earlier I have been using the internal Intel GMA 4500, so no sleep for that since there's no kext. Now I am running an ATI X1300 and the drivers work under 10.6.8. + Chameleon 2 RC 5. My system will now sleep, but not wake. Any ideas?
  3. Dell Optiplex 780 DSDT patching needed.

I am having the same problems too. System will sleep but not wake. Using Chameleon RC 5 and DSDT patched for the USB to be all "built-in", and no SleepEnabler/EVOReboot/etc kexts. When waking either using the power-button or USB keyboard/mouse, the '2' and '3' diagnostic LEDs light. Quoting the Dell manual: "A possible floppy drive or hard drive failure has occurred." The system is completely unresponsive. Can't even SSH into it to reboot. A cold reboot is needed to recover.
  4. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Here it is. PS: The USB ports reported as EHCI are the two front ports of the Optiplex 780. You'll also see my USB stick plugged in one of them. Diabolique.zip
  5. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Doesn't work. Still shows USB High-Speed Bus on Expansion Slot. 1) PCI Device ID: 0x3a6a PCI Revision ID: 0x0002 PCI Vendor ID: 0x8086 Bus Number: 0xfd 2) PCI Device ID: 0x3a6c PCI Revision ID: 0x0002 PCI Vendor ID: 0x8086 Bus Number: 0xfa
  6. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Thanks for the quick reply. With the DSDT patch, System Profiler reports all USB Bus as as Built-in USB using the AppleUSBUHCI driver. But there are two USB High-Speed Bus that are still listed as "Expansion Slot", using the AppleUSBEHCI driver. Is this correct? I thought the DSDT would patch them all to "Built-in USB". My hackintosh doesn't sleep, kernel.log report "System Doze". Is the USB issue related? I'll take a look at SpeedStepper too.
  7. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Hi MaLd0, I just tried using your DSDT Auto-Patcher to patch my Dell Optiplex 780. Unfortunately it stops with the following message: Line 3719 type Error message Invalid combination of Length and Min/Max fixed flags Any ideas how to fix it? send_me.zip
