  1. G5 Front Panel to ATX I/O Cables

Hi, I bought one of your cables some time ago (Still working perfectly) Here's my problem: I am once again using a mobo without firewire... so was looking around for the pdf which was sent to me detailing where the firewire jumper cable needs to be attached, cant seem to find the pdf and the dropbox link has expired Any help please? Also, looks like I'll now be needing the audio jumper, any chance of purchasing this separately? cheers

Off topic I know, but I just clicked your profile and visited your website. I then noticed you're located in Weymouth! I live not to far away, in Dorchester. lol it's a small world after all. Good to know there's other hackintoshers around here.

  5. Could Lion works with 1G of memory ?!?!

The installer is correct. Lion requires a minimum of 2gb ram and also atleast Core 2 Duo CPU.
  6. I'm looking into finding a HD webcam which will work with my hack. Need it for facetime, photobooth, skype etc. Any suggestions of a good HD camera which 'just works'?? I've been looking at the Logitech c910 but i've read mixed reviews about several compatibility issues within OSX. Note: I'm not interested in getting the old external firewire apple isight, So please share your experience with PC webcams on OSX and what you recommended for the best OOB experience. Thanks! Edit: forgot to mention, I'm running 10.8.1 mountain lion
  7. Introduce yourself.

Hi, my name is Dan. As you can see on my profile I have been a member since 19 july 2011, However I have only just really started to get interested in hackintoshing again. A year ago I was attempting to install a variety Snow Leopard Distro's on my hp pavillion g6 Laptop, Although i did get it to work after a week but as you could imagine it was still extremely buggy and ruined the whole seamless mac experience (no graphics support, no wifi, etc) I gave up and went back to windows 7. Recently I had a desktop handed to me and decided to give hackintosh another shot. I did alot of research this time round and installed straight from the unmodified Mountain lion app (used tonymac method ) To my surprise, IT WORKED! However I still encountered some of the same problems i experienced with the laptop a year ago. A little more research led me to purchase a few upgrades; Sapphire HD 5770 Vapor-X, Apple airport extreme card+PCIE adapter, D-link DBT120 (bluetooth) EVERYTHING works perfectly OOTB Happy with everything working (even updated to 10.8.1 without problems), i went on to buy An apple wireless Keyboard and a nice new 1080p led monitor - AOC e2243Fw. Future upgrades/todo list: Magic mouse/trackpad G5 case mod. Apple InfraRed mod MOBO - Gigabyte Z77-DS3H CPU - i7 3770k 32gb (4x8gb) ddr3 1600mhz ram 120gb Sandisk extreme SSD Cheers for all the great information around the forums. The hackintosh community is brilliant.
