1. Dear pokenguyen and vusun, Not related but I am trying to install El Capitan on my Lenovo T420s. I followed tluck's instruction for T420 with UEFI only without success. Could you please help me out? I need suitable dsdt, config.plist and other necessary stuffs... Cos I am totally new to hackintosh, your help is highly appreciated!
2. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

I tried to get install OSX on T420s. I got to the installation welcome screen where only mouse worked. I clicked on the installation and a minute laler, it said i couldn't install on my HDD. And now I got the "missing operating system" when rebooting. I got to set active again for the Windows partition then it became normal. My question is: should i convert my HDD into GPT then reinstall Windows, then Mac OS X? Dual boot is what I need.
3. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

Hi there, I am about to install El Cap on my T420s. Here is what I have: - T420s running Windows 10 - tluck's zip pack - 01 USB 8Gb - VMWare with Yosemite Can I use the VMWare Yosemite to create the OS X El Cap Installer USB, then install El Cap on my T420s? As I am a newbie, any instruction is highly appreciated. Will you update the dsdt for T420s? I did try to install El Cap on my T420s using other methods without success.
4. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

Hi there, Just wanna know whether this works on Lenovo T420s? I'm about to install El Capitan on my T420s. Any help is highly appreciated!
5. Mine is running smoothly with Lion 10.7.2 (C43). Now I managed to install the official update of Lion 10.7.2 (11C73) recently released by Apple without success. Downloaded the combo from Apple, installed it on Lion partition but it kept saying "Mac OS X Update Combined can't be installed on this disk. This volume does not meet the requirements for this update". Any1 has experienced this issue please show me the way out. Tks for reading!
6. After upgrading to Lion 10.7.2 (11C43), I lost the audio. I couldn't use this method as well as TonyMac ##### method to gain the sound back which I used to be successful previously. Any1 is successful getting the audio done in this version of Lion, please light out the way! Thanks Nevermind, I removed all HDAEnaber kexts as well as AppleHDA ketx, then reinstalled the AppleHDA8xxx and the Rollback kext from Tony Mac's #####. It works again after rebooting.
7. Need help: DSDT for HP Desktop p6218I

Hi, I have another problem. Sometimes I experience BIOS Reset when restarting the PC, setting back the SATA Controller to IDE, so I have to change back to AHCI in order to boot into Lion. Could you please show me the way to fix this? Enclosed here is my DSDT.aml (you did for me previously). dsdt.aml.zip
8. Need help: DSDT for HP Desktop p6218I

I used to visit your topic on olarila and still failed in fixing audio. Maybe I am not skillful enough to play with HDEF in DSDT plus AppleHDA patch. I am now temporarily using VooDooHDA 2.7.2. Nevermind, I use ##### to install Apple88xxHDA.kext and AppleRollback and voila, it works. Previously, this method didn't work for me, what a strange thing. I think maybe I did some change of HDEF in DSDT that you suggested and now it has effect on the device!
9. Need help: DSDT for HP Desktop p6218I

Sorry for bothering you MaLd0n. The audio stops working on Lion. I need your help to make it work if possible. I've desperately searched for its solution but none works for me. If possible, please send me the AppleHDA patch and DSDT. Kindly thanks for your help!
10. Fix: VoodooHDA KP (10.6.8 + 10.7.x)

Any problems with sound quality?
11. 10.7.2 is an upgrade pack for developers which was released unofficially soon after Lion final was released. As for the audio reset, I am very confused. This method gives me perfect sounds which VooDooHDA never does, so I really don't want to come back to VooDoo! Edit: After trying numerous methods, I decided to come back to ##### to install audio (Apple88xxxHDA.kext and the rollback), plus some minor change of HDEF in DSDT and luckily, the clear and perfect sound returns to me!
12. It works for me, but... randomly. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. I don't know why! Today I experienced the BIOS Reset once when rebooting from Lion 10.7.2, the audio went away even the speaker symbol was still active. I tried to reinstall the AppleHDA.kext provided with DSDT.aml method without success. What should I do to get the audio back - the last thing that would help making my PC a "real MacPro"?.
13. Need help: DSDT for HP Desktop p6218I

Hi MaLd0n Here is what I modified in the DSDT you sent me, and thank God, it works. Firstly, rebooting gave me KP. The second time, there was no sound. I decided to TURN OFF the PC, unplugged AC, then TURNED IT ON again, and voila, the audio started to work. The sound is really good, much better than using VooDooHDA which used to give me terrible noise! Tks again, MaLd0n, for your help!
14. Need help: DSDT for HP Desktop p6218I

I am trying to get the sound in Lion without any luck! Using ALC1200 ICH10 solution together with DSDT gives me no sound at all even though the sound symbol is clear! What should I do?
15. Need help: DSDT for HP Desktop p6218I

Yes, I do. That's the only way that helps me to get the sound, though the sound is not so good! You mean that I have to remove voodooHDA? What other kexts do I have to remove?
